PROTOCOL OF THE GENERAL MEETING 15 FEBRUARY 2001

1. The general meeting of the Israel Plasma Science and Technology was held in the Physics Department of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology at 0900 on 15 Feb 2001, as the opening session of the 4^th Israeli Conference on Plasma Physics and its Applications. IPSTA chairman R.L. Boxman presided. Approximately 40 members were present.
2. Boxman announced the upcoming inter-university course, Introduction to Plasma Physics, and referred participants to Prof. Eli Jerby, Education Chairman, for further details.
3. The dues structure of NIS 120 for regular members and NIS 60 for students was approved unanimously by the membership.
4. The membership unanimously approved the revised IPSTA constitution.
5. The following board of directors was elected by acclamation (with one dissenting vote):
