Simple: why I have a lot of faith in guile, it is pretty much vapourware
at this stage. Yes, there is code to play with, but it isn't there yet:
it is not as embeddable as Python or Tcl, and certainly not as portable.
(I'm not sure it compiles out of the box on Win32, for example). There are
no translators yet (though the Tcl one is in the works.) In short, a
great project which is not complete yet.

Not that currently there are *no* translators.
