Routing problem
I'm a total newbie with networking.
I have a problem. My default routing gets lost. I use ISDN, with dial on
demand. When I for example ping www.linux.org.il, my ISDN connects to
the internet, and I get the ping replay. But after it disconnects, my
routing table (/sbin/route) losts the default route. Where I ping
www.linux.org.il again, I don't get a replay, but a "site is
unaccessible" or something. after that I do a ping add default ippp0,
and everything works again. I tried adding route add default ippp0 to
/etc/ppp/scripts/routes, and to /etc/ppp/ip-down, and other places, but
no luck. Thanks.
