And your Date: header said:
> Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2000 08:58:59 +0100
Which means your timezone is incorrect.

It seems to me that you should have other problems with it too.
Does 'date' show you the correct output?

Does that problem disappear if you stop and then re-start
Sendmail?

What Linux distribution?
