Re: www.telem.openu.ac.il and Linux. (fwd)
It does not work for me on my Debian 2.2 (woody). I do not have any Bidi
support, just the standard netscape 4.73 that Debian is offering.
I can see what I would call the old pages (those which are not "TeleSite"?)
but not the TeleSite ones.
For example, I can see www.telem.openu.ac.il with courier 8859-8 fonts. It
looks bad, probably because those are not variable sized fonts, but if I try
hard I can read it. Now I go to my course home page. Same thing: looks bad but
I can read it if I try hard. Now for the "Discussion lists". Oops. Non
readable text. Back to the course home page. Bad fonts but still Hebrew ones.
I am using Netscape User-Defined menu entry and all 3 options about dynamic
fonts will not do.
What Hebrew fonts are installed on yours RH?
BTW: What is TeleSite?
