Thanks, Chen for the summery!
I just wanted to thank Mark for his very informing and very entertaining
talk about Large Linux sites, which desribed logistical and technical
issues that should be concidered when building large sites.
The talk also included graphic details on the "added value services" SGI
are willing to add in order to sell systems these days, a
viking/clustering quotation, some monty python referances, and hurling
amusing abuse at uncivilised dunces who answer cell phone calls in the
middle of said meeting.. :-)
Thanks to Ilan for rasing the WikiWikiWeb issue. This is obviously
soemthing we are looking at very seriously. This perticlar lead has come
in the best possible time for us, IMHO. It looks like WikiWiki can solve a
lot of problems for us.

It's Important that we start to spread the message that supporting the
linux community is good for companies, As well as users. The an obvious
benifit to everyone is the job market. individuals get access to
the companies who gain access to the high quality people (trust me on
this, getting CV's from people in LUG's is much better then getting it
from some cluless HR company.)
I would like love to get Zend active, as much as they can, since they
have a lot to gain from this type of cooperation, aswell as we can learn a
lot from them.

I think there is some damaging matirial in the famous halloween
document aswell: " linux is a best of bread Unix system.." some other good
stuff can be found there too.. If anyone else remebers anyother amusing
quotes from key microsoft personel please forward those URL's.. :-)

Yup, Mark also sugested that he will talk to the companies he worked
with/for and see if they too are willing to "come out of the closet".
It would be nice if others can see if they can do the same and influence
the companies they work for/with to publicly declare that they use
linux. There is benifit in endorcing linux, since not only is linux a
solution that should be worth concidering in favour of W2K, linux is also
a hot buzz word in the buisness community, these days.

we would like to work with Jonathan, and find a solution that all of
use can agree with in how we can open adimistration of the
linux.org.il website to more people, rather then let it rest on the
sholder of just one person.
<snip web-site stuff>
I just want to add, since PF1/linuxnet people didn't stay for the web-site
part of the meeting, that we would like to work with everyone on this. The
linux.org.il is not for profit, therfore we are not in "competition" with
anyone.
Thanks again to everyone who came.
Eitan.
