Are you sure about it? binutils as much as I recall - does support SSE. not
sure though...

I think you can turn to Intel Israel and tell them that you develop
something in Assembler for them for using in Linux - and I think they'll
give u a book or 2 for free. Thats how I got the books from Motorola about
PowerPC :)
