Are the IRQs configured properly? Does setserial manages to open the port? perhaps the mouse is on /dev/ttys0? Shouldn't it be /dev/ttyS0 (A Capital S and not a small one)? Does minicom manages to access the port? Doesn't mgetty have a verbose flag in order to accumulate much more debug info in its log files?

We used to connect to modem by typing mgetty on server.Now we replaced the server to a new computer. We took the disk, modem, etc.Since then the modem does not respond to incoming calls.We get the massage:cannot open line /dev/ttys0: input/output errorThank you for helping.
