Re: ISDN channel bundling
There are some bugs in MPPP code wich cause such a behaviour.
The only way I found to pervent this - is to patch isdn-ppp code.
There is a patch written by one guy, try deja.com for "ISDN MPPP
patch" or something similar. It should fix all the problems with MPPP
chanel bundling. In short, this patch is supposed to be incapsulated in
mainstream isdn code.
As for automatic bundling:
isdnctrl addlink ippp0 _doesn't_ trigger dialout. Theortically, it should
be triggered at some transfer rate (I don't have an access to a test
machine now, so can't check the option for ippp) but this code didn't work
at the time I suceeded to install it manually. The way I set it up - it's
triggered in ifup-ippp by "isdnctrl dial ippp1" .
There also's been a problem with adding default route , but in new
versions of isdn4k-utils it seems to has been solved.
If you can't find the patch - mail me and I'll send it to you directly.
