I hope I'm not misleading. AFAIK, things goes like that:
There are two pairs of cables used out of the eight in the RJ-45 jack your
using.
They are attached to pins 1+2 and 3+6. In regular connection, the wirings go
like that:
cable number function
1 I-ground
2 I-signal
-
3 II-ground
6 II-signal
In crossover connection things should look like this:
cable number function
1 II-ground
2 II-signal
-
3 I-ground
6 I-signal
That's all there is!... :-)
