built-in kernel debugger support in recent kernels

Hello,

Can any one tell me where I might get a recent kernel (2.2.14 and above)
that has support for the build in kernel debugger ?
Is there any way of getting just the kdb package and adding it manually into
an existing kernel source tree ?

Until now, we've been using SGI's ProPack v1.2 that adds support for the
above for either RedHat 6.1 or SuSE 6.3. After installation, I could use
'make Xconfig' or 'make menuconfig' and select kdb under the Kernel Hacking
submenu.
Now, that we have upgraded to RedHat 6.2 and SuSE 6.4 and no longer can use
the ProPack, I can't seem to be able to find a kernel-sources package that
contains this feature.

I tried other distributions such as Mandrake 7.0 and TurboLinux 6.0 - no
luck. SGI did not publish a new version of ProPack yet.

	Thanks in advance,
