Hello
I have RH 6.2 and I have a PCI 288 Trident sound card that I recieved with
my packerd bell computer.
I tried to install the sound card via "sndconfig" and it recognices my card
as Trident 4DWave and that I should install the drivers from
www.alsa-project.org so I've installed it as the HOWTO says, but yet, the
audio programs says that the sound card is not installed in the kernel, and
I can't hear anything.
I made everything by the howto. What can be wrong? is it something related
to the soundcard?
David
