problem with connecting 2 pc's

Hi All,

I've read about this problem on the list before, but I cannot find it on the
mailing list, so I'll post it...

I have 2 machines at home: 1 Linux machine and 1 Windows machine.

The Linux machine IP is: 10.0.0.1 and the windows machine is: 10.0.0.2

when I try to ping each other - it pings beautifully. Samba shares also works
perfectly (well, almost, but thats another issue)

However - if I try to telnet from the Windows machine to the Linux machine - it
takes something like 1 minute until I get the login prompt. Same problem
happends if I'm trying to use XDCMP - it takes long time to see something, but
once you wait and it starts - it works perfectly..

Now - if I connect the Linux machine to the Internet - I get the fastest
response time between the machines - I can telnet and use XDCMP in less then 1
second..

Any suggestions? files to modify? if so - please try to attach an example.

Thanks
Hetz
