Look at perl/vim and python/vim. The implementation. I think its obvious.

agreed. But if I had a product and I needed a scripting language, Python's
pseudo-code like syntax would have a strong appeal.
Perl is difficult for non-programmers (and even for some programmers), its
difficult to read someone elses code (because of timtowdi) and I'd only use
it for unix sysadmining and heavy duty text manipulations.
BTW. I'm now developing a product that uses C as a scripting language, so I
should shut up :-)
