Re: bind / to be sure



Name Service - it tells the DNS server from where to get the zone.

If you do a nslookup
>server relay.huji.ac.il (it will be much faster and will not give a
headache to your DNS server)
>ls -t NS org.il (there are allot, but less then co.il :-))

You will c a long list of  (for example) :

linux                   1D IN NS        tango.tcltek.co.il.

which means that if you want to see what www.linux.org.il means you need to
go to tango.tcltek.co.il in order to get the zone.

It is the basic thing in DNS.
