I did not succeed in submiting syslog with the -d parameter, but
somehow I tried to
start again syslog by - /etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog start
    and it succeed.

    After I wrote: /etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog status
    and got syslogd running
                                klogd running

but still - nothing is written to log files.

    Thank you,
                            Deby
