Look at cdrdao -- it can do it, and there's an example command like
for doing exactly this in the documentation.

There's a mailing list for CD recording questions under Linux (and in
general), cdwrite@other.debian.org, and people like Joerg Schilling
are active on it, so perhaps you'll have better luck asking it there..
