Mandrake 7.1 is here.




oh yes, Mandrake 7.1 is here, it takes over a gig of space, and two iso
images (one full, one about 330 meg). if you want a copy, I would have
loved to have burnt you one, but the exams are a little more important
now. I'll see if one of our sponsores will be making a cheap batch of
this (maybe only the main install disk w/o the extras, we'll see)

in the meantime, you will find it on ftp.linux.org.il in the regular ISO
image section.

I am still looking for a Debian mirror guy to set up and maintain our
mirror with rsync cron events and all (Marc is a bit too busy it seems),
contact me for details.

last note: a bit of statistics, the total space we're mirroring on
IGLU's server are now 60 gigs (!), and we believe it's the richest Linux
mirror on the IIX (although arguable the Hebrew U and the Technion could
be faster), please use it to justify all the bandwidth we are stealing
from Internet Zahav instead of going off to US locations :-)
