Yup, re-install. The only alternative is to mount the disks on another
machine, go into the lost+founds directories and sew the file system back
together by hand. If this is feasible at all it will probably take more
time and bother than reinstalling from your daily backup tapes. You did
make daily backup tapes didn't you?
