talk to IBM, Compaq or Sun (respectively) and see if you can get on a
developer loaner program. they sometimes loan them for free, or for an
ultra-cheap lease. (if it's a very attractive product and they give you
a cold shoulder in Israel, rattle their cages in Silicon Valley with a
few Emails and they'll help you with the local representatives :-))
oh yeah, no point in trying to get a loaner from Yeda... if you decide
on getting a used Ppc based on a mac rather than an IBM, open the
papers, some graphics artists may be ditching their's because Yeda are
doing such a bad job supporting it. if you find cheap ones I may be
tempted to buy one too :-)
