Re: Hebrew Browser

I managed to run it via ssh-forwarded X from Hetz's computer.
First, set PATH, KDEDIR and QTDIR to the correct directories.
Next, you can launch Koqnueror, but it won't actually support
any protocol (Note the beauty of it! All protocols are pluggable
components!). Later, I did a 'kdeinit', it opened remotely
in a very ugly way but also started the needed daemons for the
protocols. Then, I could terminate the kdeinit and run Konqueror
standalone and have it popup as a window on my machine (and
consequentially build the hebrew page I had to build).

One cute thing about Konqeror - notice how unlike other browser
bloats, the browser's logo button (e.g. the Netscape logo in Navigator)
doesn't send you to the project webpage but rather opens a new window!
That little detail left a very good impression on me :)

Btw, during my Konqueror BiDi experiments, I found out that
"13:54 on Monday, 31st July 2000", when rendered in strong-right
aligned BiDi, would render differently on Internet Explorer,
FriBidi and Konqeror (3 different versions). Sent that to Dov.

gtkbidi your-favorite-mailer-which-uses-the-gtkedit-widget
Should give a usable logical hebrew mailer.
