Another quote from Chen:
/startqouting The date is Friday, 7.4.2000, and we're gonna start showing up
at around 9am. You are welcome to get early and get to know the people
behind the Email addresses and urban legends. Linux geeks meetings are
never boring and it's a great chance for newbies to ask veteran users
some questions face-to-face instead of the delay of a mailing list.
feel free to bring laptops (show off cool stuff you hacked together or
ask us to help you with setups). /endqouting
As someone else wrote: (1) Satisfying everybody is difficult. (2) The time was
decided by voting.
Since the time of the meeting has much to do with the availability of a class
room and because the IDC location seems to me a bit isolated I will begin by
trying to find a place in Tel-Aviv.
