Re: Maximum Linux security
I read 'Maximum Security' by anonymous (I imagine the book you're talking
about is some kind of sequel). It was an excellent book, but keep in mind
that security books get old the moment they are released (that is
unfortunately true to classic books such as 'building Internet Firewalls',
and especially true for modern books that try to talk about 'the current
events').
The bottom line - if you *must* buy a security book, then I can tell you I'm
pretty happy with the 50$ I paid for it [this, of course, has nothing to do
with the fact that I get mentioned in this book starting from its second
edition]
BTW: 'Maximum Security' is available on-line in several places. Assuming
'Maximum Linux Security' is a sequel, you might want to take a look at the
original and see for yourself how good is it.
