I paid 171 NIS , but i already had the NIC installed.

Yes. Leave it this way for simplicity. You may try later, once you have
the setup working, use one NIC with secondary ip address/network for the
local (home) LAN .

yes you can. in windows you just click on disconnect. in Linux you will
(again , if i recall ...) do something like pppd -k .

you disconnect a session and then start a new one with a different
provider.

most distributions should detect the new NIC. make sure your kernel
support that NIC or that you have the device driver installed / available

a simple make comands does the trick. It comes with a README and so on

can't think about any ... just make sure you can restore your network and
dns configuration (if you at all have any).
