Don't you think its an IGLU discussion?

Shall I remind you that being endorsed by IGLU isn't something of pride? For
the obvious reason - no one knows what it means.
We know that "IGLU is with us" means that the best Linux professionals in
Israel think the best of our event. But the world isn't aware of it yet - so
its meaningless.
another point - we need to make an IGLU endorsment guidelines or something.
we are funded by companies - endorsed by IGLU should mean more than "we
payed them".
We should think of the things we want it to mean and put it in writing.
> am I alone on this? just an idea...
alone on what? on the fact that we need them and they need us too?
I'm still not sure why would a company need us.
In the states community support has a market value. In Israel its
meaningless.
If I had a Linux start-up I'd go for community support if I planned on
Nasdaqing, but I'd try to get it by contributing software to the community
and financing projects, not by financing a month-old IGLU, with near nil
credentials.
Aside from IGLU being a workforce pool - I don't see what else we offer.
But then again - there is a reason why I don't have a startup. part of it is
my total inability to do anything other than produce code.
