Actually, until recently I've been a Mandrake user, and I can't say bad
things of it - the Installation program is great, and it lets you configure
almost everything before the system boots the first time. if you want to
update a mandrake system, it will load and keep all of your configuration
(assuming it was done the 'legitimate' way, using /etc/sysconfig) and you
shouldn't have any problems. normally I would recomend whole heartedly that
you update to 7.1 , but considering that 7.2 should be out any minute now (I
thought they're waiting for KDE2, but apparently they seem to be waiting for
2.4 ..), I'd say that if your happy with your system as it is, wait longer
:-)
