Hebrew keyboards and apps

I'd love to join such a team, it's time we had at least one distribution
come even with hebrew "visual" fonts. but is it really worth the bother
to have everything translated before we have RTL support in GtK+ or
Qt? (yes, I know it's a chicken and egg thing). don't get me wrong, the
KDE with Hebrew is great! but part of my lazy self feels as if it's a
work wasted if RTL is around the corner like everyone promisses.
