Are you getting 128K or close? What phone numbers are you using?
support@bezeqint.net told me today that with the 6400000 phone number I might
not get the full bandwidth of an ISDN line. They advise me to use 136014 or
7251111. That is what Yarin <benadoy@bezeqint.net> has found out according to
a previous message from earlier today.
With 136014 I was downloading my test file (www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.
2/linux-2.2.17.tar.gz) not long ago with an average rate of 7.34 KB/s.
BTW: although my init script have the lines
REMOTEMSN='136363 7251111 9277777 136014' # XXX_
LEADINGZERO='' # XXX_ use LEADINGZERO='' if you have no areacodes.
if [ ! -z "$REMOTEMSN" ]
then
for MSN in $REMOTEMSN; do
isdnctrl addphone ${device} out $LEADINGZERO$MSN
done
fi
isdnctrl dialmax ${device} 2
it always seems to use the rightmost number in $REMOTEMSN, be it now 136014 or
previously 6400000.
