Unfortunately, having Unicode support and having proper i18n support is
very different. Unicode by itself does nothing, and it also doesn't
provide proper font usage, proper keyboard usage (I don't know how they
going to provide solution for keyboard that will support different
languages in KDE apps and XKB apps and no-any-support apps) and many other
things. If they stop by "we can do it" (I don't say they did - I hope they
didn't, but that's what happened with fonts on KDE 1 - they could support
them properly but they didn't) instead of "we did it and it works", there
will be no real use of it, except marketing slogan.
