about 6, yes, it was long but quite interesting I think. Marc's lecture
was an interesting rundown, mainly of the hurdles and consideration for
building linux clusters and HA solutions in Israel.
I'd like to take the chance to thank all that came and I hope you
enjoyed the time and found it interesting. for those of you who came for
the first time hoping for a more low-level directed talk I promise a
more "basics" lecture next week, we'll decide on a format that will also
appeal to the more veterans I hope :-)

we're also going to see if Compaq and SGI are willing to help us
more. maybe even Sivan (although Sivan is not that unix-centered...)

please free to join (and hopefully donate and not just lurk :-)

in the next day or two I hope we manages to hack up a nice template for
articles, so anything you submit or want to update later will have an
easy way of automaticly getting a standard look and feel. stuff We'd
like to see there: Adi's translation of ESR's works, translations of
HOWTOs, and maybe someone to volunteer to update the Hebrew Howto.
the way we are designing the new site will be as open as possible, we
are looking at wikiwiki and similar solutions (Faq-o-Matic?) so there is
never only one guy controlling any function or set of pages at any given
time. for more info, join the above mailing list, or visit and read it
on the egroups website if you don't want the traffic in your mailbox...
finally, I'd like to direct all further discusion about group activities
(i.e. not technical stuff) to our new Egroups list. We'll be hammering
out the details for next thursday, plan a Linux Dinner and more.

Good luck!
