Yes, I read it when it was published, but if this will be the case
with all of the Israeli providers (DHCP, etc.), it will be very bad.

In America there are "good" providers (who provide you real and
static IPs, with no filtering of incoming packets to low ports), and
"bad" providers (like the ones in the article you pointed to). I
hope that at least some of the Israeli providers will belong to the
first category, and that Bezeq will not prevent it (they can,
theoretically, for example by forcing us to pass through its current
"dial-up" menu, or by setting two prices, for example $25 for "dial-
up" users (sorry, I can't avoid the '"'; After all, the main purpose
of ADSL is to save the need to dial-up and to give a permanent line
..), and $300 for users who want a permanent line with a specific
ISP).

So the purpose of my question was to understand what is the exact
status in *ISRAEL*. Hetz gave a partial answer, which is probably
the best we can have now, before the production phase is starting.
