Re: RedHat Upgrade - What about already upgraded packages ?



If I understood the upgrade procedure, the Redhat installer checks the
packages, and if it sees something which is newer then whats its got -
then it won't upgrade that package and it will move on..

I upgraded from RH 6.1 to 6.2 and never had any problem (other then
re-compile a kernel which I needed with lots of additional patches [UDF,
USB etc..])
