Gtk+/GNOME lecture: I want feedback
Almost nobody mailed me to say what he'd want in the lecture.
Here's a couple of questions I want feedback on.
Would you like to know more about the philosophy, or the implementation?
How much time would you like me to devote to the non-GUI aspects?
What language would you want the examples to be in? (If there are any
Perl/Gtk+ hackers out there, please contact me about translating the
examples to Perl)
Any specific questions about Gtk+ and GNOME are welcome too: they'd at
least give me direction about what people would like me to do.
Also, I will probably *not* talk about the following subjects:
- gnorba and bonobo: these are GNOME's distributed components
infrstucture. It's not yet in common enough use, and the design is
somewhat fluid at this stage.
- i18n: recently Pango and Gtk+ have started to be integrated. I'd hate to
talk about a work in progress, it seems better to wait until it
stabilizes.
