Re: how to chane loading Device order?

Can you post your /etc/fstab?

hii

i swapped IDE`s on my mother bord betwin the hard disk that has the /home  partition and the cdrom.

the /home was on hdb5 and now it is on hdd5

i have edited my fstab file so now every thing work most of the time fine and every thing is mounted fine

my problem is on loading Linux .

when the cds r empty Linux refused to mount the /home partition
and it says that it is not valid

i guess it is because the device loading order and because the cds r empty it stops and do not porceed in loading the last device ...........

i dont realy know if it is true it is just a guess .

does any one knows what to do ?

adi.
