Re: LILO cant boot



1) Sending your lilo.conf to the list might help.
2) Does your lilo.conf includes
		boot=/dev/hda	
	or
		boot=/dev/hda2
	?
   That is, does lilo wrote its data on the mbr or somewhere else (or
   is it me who is mixing up the details?)
3) Lilo docs are quite good. Perhaps it has a FAQ that targeted exactly
   to your problem.
4) One more line will not hurt: Did you run lilo? (ofcourse you did but
   sometimes the easy to solve problems becomes the most difficult ones)


BTW: I think you reverted back to slackware and am curious why.
