To Orange, there's no way.
Few months ago, I was running an email-to-SMS forwarding service,
which exploited Pelephone's, Cellcom's and Orange-Walla's sites,
but it's not active any longer, after Cellcom and Orange-Walla
blocked my IP (lots of Orange users where using it to send messages
to subscribers in other networks, by sending their messages through
SMS-to-email gateways).
As to the SMS-to-email gateways, try those:
+447973577510 (http://aa.nu/faxtext)
+358405174761 (http://www.oeoe.fi)
+447747782320 (http://www.connectotel.com/sms/mmail.html)
Syntax for all of them is "EMAIL@DOMAIN message", IIRC.
International SMSes cost the same as national ones in Orange
(currently 9ag.+VAT).
