Well, you are wrong here. M$ Exchange has what is called "Inbox rules"
(or something similar) which can do various types of mail filtering
(including forwarding, filing, discarding and some more). The rules
are defined by the client but are run on the server.

The filtering may be very primitive relative to my UNIX scripts, but
it still there.
