I don't know. I never used that version with 2.4 firewall. I used 2000
and 2001, and they work ok in the setup I explained.

Yes it's working for me 100%. No I don't encounter any problems you
described. I myself use 2001b now, and communicate with people who use
from 99 to 2001.
