I think the consensus was that it works, only it is not, in any way, more
effective than non-subliminal commercials. In any case, the guy claims to
use it on himself. Knowing him, he is exactly the kind to do such things, so
I guess the ethical part of the question does not seem overly relevant. I am
not sure you'll catch me working on his computer, though, but has more to do
with the music his computer usually plays than with the subliminal messages.

In any case, the opinions presented in this email are my own, and do not
represent those of my employer (that shall remain nameless), nor those of
human race in general, membership to whom is still an open question, with
both sides considering the pluses and minuses, and neither reaching a
conclusion as of yet.
