I didn't try to display a utf8 file, but just to use the xkbmap that
I built in order to enter Hebrew text. Hebrew characters are entered
ok, but Nikkud and Bidi Control are not even accepted by the widget.
I also looked at the source and it has some comment in the RTL
codec about "Hebrew accents are ignored".
I can understand that accents are not dealt with, as it is quite
complex, but at least RLM and LRM should be supported. I'll have
another look in the source code.
