Yup.  Sure enough.  I guess I just skipped over that little note thinking
I already knew everything about IP masquerading.. ;)

Yes, isn't it...

What actually happens to these larger packets?  Are they dropped by the
adsl "modem"?  While looking at the MTU stuff I noticed that my cipcb0
(CIPE) interface has a MTU of 1442.  It's used as an encrypted tunnel to
connect two LANs.  Do I need to set all the MTUs of the workstations to
1442 to get proper communication between LANs?  I think I have the samba
stuff set up correctly but I've been having trouble getting it to work,
eg. it only "half" works.
