Sorry, haven't tested it yet
(Test: typeset the for documents from the sample documentation: copy files
to the current directory, run 'elatex document.tex' and view result with
'xdvi document.dvi')

Yes, but not hebfonts. Also, make sure that the version is recent enough.
There was a problem with one file that was corrected in the CTAN copy in
28.7.2001 (IIRC), in lhecmr.fd, I believe.
However, if you made any modifications to the files from heblatex 2.0c
then there is a tricky issue of having two files with the same name on the
same texmf tree. See the last discussion in the ivritex list (and a
pointer to my updated RPMs there)
