PCI MODEM (Was HCF hardware/software mode)

Hi,

Well, If you remember the discussion about my
unrecognized hardware modem, the one which win2k
recognized as HCF modem, then i found a clue to the
problem .... I don't know what to do about it yet but
the modem dose work.

It turns that the modem is indeed a hard modem, I
don't know way win2k recognized it as HCF but it dose
work under Linux using the standard driver.

The thing is that it was conflicting with my sound
device, so while the sound module was loaded my modem
did not work. Then one day I removed the sound model
and ... vualla ... I have a fax noise.

No my Q is :
how do I change my PCI settings under Linux ?

my current PCI settings are :
sound :
  Bus 0, device 20, function 5:
    Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies
Unknown device (rev 32).
      Vendor id=1106. Device id=3058.
      Medium devsel. IRQ 11.
      I/O at 0xe400 [0xe401].
      I/O at 0xe800 [0xe801].
      I/O at 0xec00 [0xec01].
Modem :
    Communication controller: Unknown vendor Unknown
device (rev 0).
      Vendor id=151f. Device id=0.
      Medium devsel. IRQ 11.
      I/O at 0xd400 [0xd401].

There are no jumpers on either my sound or my modem.
And i did not find a tool in the bios which will help
me do that. I can set each port to be Aisa/Pci or Aisa
but I cant set the addresses or the IRQ for that
port.

I'm open for suggestions, Thanks

Erez
