Well, I managed to build the 2.4.2 kernel - I justed added an #endif
to kernel.h.
The only problem is that I can't boot the new kernel !
It can't boot the scsi root fs. I see:
request_module[scsi_hostadapter]:Rootfs not mounted
panic ...
I see on the web that I am not the only one with this problem. I tried
building the kernel with the old aic7xxx driver, but that didn't help,
either.
Does anyone happen to know if this problem is fixed in 2.4.3 ?
Any other ideas ?
