Re: Cox kernel?
The 2.4.x kernel development has been moved from Alan to Marcello. Linus will
only announce new kernel 2.4.x releases, but won't touch any code actually...
So Rik's VM implementation is out, and other Linus stuff that were in the
kernel (while they weren't in Alan's ac-tree) has been removed in favour of..
you guessed it - Alan's tree..
Of course Tzahi, you might want to do yourself a small favour and check daily
web sites like umm, http://linuxtoday.com , http://slashdot.org ,
http://lwn.net/daily , and if you're a bit bored - ready the daily releases
in http://freshmeat.net -> nothing is more cheerful other then to find that
what you worked in the last few weeks - someone releases exactly the same,
but better, so your time went to the dodo...
/me goes back to the QT stuff (go explain a german person about the weird
things in hebrew and CTRL/ALT shift stuff...brrrrrr)
Have a good one,
Hetz
