I second this. I would like to note that they have an agreement with
Microsoft (as many dealers here have) to sell a certain number (95%?) of
systems with windows, so they always included an OEM version of windows
in a price quote. I got around it by telling them I was using it as a
Linux based server :-)

As a really off topic point, if you do buy a system with windows, it
will come pre-installed on the hard drive (as will one from almost every
 vendor). If you call Microsoft Israel and give them your product ID
number (from the hologram on the book) they will send you an install CD.
They are supposed to charge a small fee (like $10) for the media, but
often don't.

If you wipe the hard drive to install linux, you will need it if you
also want to run windows.
