Hi ppl.
I heard much about their "multilpe systems management" tools, so I went and
downloaded their aduvizor. I tried it back in the past on RH6.2, but for some
reason, after I installed it (the installation went smoothly) and ran it
(what else I was supposed to do?) it just never ended it intialization
procedure. After you install it and run it for the first time, it tries to
connect to Aduva server in order to bring you updates or something like this
(I don't have it right here so I tell what I remember I saw). Some kind of
progress windows pop up with "v" marks on its left side, which supposed to
show you which stage of "first run after installation" you're curently on.
Well, I never was patient enough to wait until this process finished up. Once
I left it run overnight and only a thing I saw next morning - the mentioned
above progres window completely frozen and not responding, so I just killed
it.
This happend to me twice, on RH6.2 and, recently, on RH7.1.
Have I missed something?
It it normal way to wait several days until you are able to at least see its
GUI?
Tnx, Max
