As far as I can see you don't actually need something from redhat for ext3, you can do it yourself. Converting to ext3 from ext2 doesn't mean reformatting you just need to put a journal on it.
 
be aware that the version is a beta (almost at ver 1.0), also there are dead locks in certain occasions using quatas.

did any one tries to use ext3 with redhat. i understand its in their beta
release. if so, is it working well? and how difficult is it to install?
p.s: i don't want reiserfs, since you need to reformat.
