Re: envirament troubles



Did you check /etc/profile and /etc/profile.local?

In any event this is distro dependent. On my (SuSE 7.1) system, it is located in 
/etc/SuSEconfig/profile, which is used to update rc.config, used at boot time - 
chad gadya.

Hope that helps a bit.
