A friend of mine has a Ricoh CDRW+DVD on IDE (everything you would love to
hate like, Alon ;-) and he's quite happy with it : worked out of the box and
once he learned the joys of using only cdrecord for burning, he started to
happily burn CDs. it does CDRWs nicely, but we haven't tested its DVD
capabilities yet.
