Hi,
I'm reconfiguring my system here at my new work, and I have this weird
problem, so I want to ask people here about this..
The network here has 128K Sifranet line, and everything works ok, until it
comes to sending emails (using sendmail)
When someone send here email - specially big emails, then our line is going
down to its knees.. what I mean is that ping to our ISP (Barak) gives me
something like 2-3 seconds!
While not sending emails - everything works ok...
One solution that I thought of was reducing the MTU to the mail server.
However, I would like to hear other people who had their problems with what
solutions they came with...
Bandwidth shaping is a problematic issue with our router (Cisco 1000)...
Suggestions? comments?
Thanks
