RE: Sun Israel to Pledge Support for IGLU (fwd)

if ibm will deliver (the conversion of sun openoffice with bidirectional support),
it would be a welcome change to many organizations in israel.
Many organization resort to stealing today and the BSA is watching closely.
A hebrew office suite in linux will allow this organization an alternative to risking lawsuites.

Hey, friends, please don't try to break an open door...

it...
There was a long thread about it, with Mati Allouch, in this mailing
list, and one of the conclusions was to develop Hebrew support for
StarOffice...

It is so famous, that even the Israeli newspapers write about it in an
average frequency of twice per a week (today, for example:

  http://www.haaretz.co.il/hasite/pages/ShArtPE.jhtml?itemNo=86976 )

On Sunday, the newspapers wrote why Sun Israel COULD NOT do this. For
example:
