I think it is a ver good idea but before you post a question
you should RTFM on it :)
For example I have just typed in "mysql postgresql" and then
"oracle postgresql" in google and there were quite a number of articles
comparing the first two, a lot less on the second search,
but it is undersatndable.
I know the mysql v. postgresql issue is/was quite high-profile one so for
other
packages I expect less articles but still I'd think doing such a research
will help you phrase your question and all of us will benefit from it.
I'd even suggest to write up comparative howto-s or whatever we can call
them
for the issues we discuss.
