As of Yesterday or Today, it appears that Orange's site was changed once
again (new flash stuff making it impossible to use on my computer at all,
some new tricks in its forms, etc.). I created and tested a new version
of SendSMS to work with the new site, and am hoping to release it tomorrow
(actually, it's after midnight, so today :)) - BUT, BEFORE I DO THAT,
I have a weird problem: I got one report from one of my favorite testers
claiming that the old sendsms still works perfectly for his Orange phone,
and that the new version doesn't! So before I release a broken version,
can people with Orange that use SendSMS tell me if the script they have
still works for them or not?
BTW, A few days ago there was a discussion on NANOG (the North American
Network Operator Group, one of the mailing lists I'm in) about how useful
are utilities like ICQ and IRC for interactively checking and fixing network
problems. I also find ICQ to be a great tool for developing free software.
It's the only way to talk to testers and check last-minute-changes in the
wee hours of the night :)
