Good points.
There was a precedent of some software package maintained by Arabs, which
rejected a patch submitted by Israelis. The problem was solved by a fork,
if I am not mistaken. I don't remember the details, however.
But I don't think that explanation of Linus' decision making process in
matters unrelated to software is in order here. If a technically sound
(and I emphasize this point) Israeli-submitted patch is rejected due to
non-technical reasons, then we can yell about this, and most of the
Americans will support us.

1. Suicide bombers-to-be should be granted their wish, by using a bullet
to send them directly to Garden of Eden and the sexy and horny 40
houris waiting for them.
2. Legislation making it a crime to brainwash people to become suicide
terrorists is necessary. Then, whenever a suicide bomber explodes
himself and takes with him other people, it'll be possible to punish
those who brainwashed him to commit this atrocity (his local religious
leader, parents, teachers, friends and relatives).
