Hello everybody.
I've been exploring Linux in depth for a while now, and the results have
(offcourse! :P) been satisfactory. The next thingie on my todo list is
telling me to set up a word-proccessing system + printing on the box.
Now, I suppose I could go out and start looking around on freshmeat for
editors and try everything and reinvent the wheel about deciding what's
better .. but I think I'm getting a bit lazy .. or is it just late? :P
Now, there are numerous words I heard over the time .. such as LaTeX and
TeTeX and all that bunch .. and others ..
Could you people help me around and summarize the advantages and
disadvantages of each approach, i.e StarOffice vs. LaTeX, so that I
wouldn't have to discover it slowly and painfully by myself (slowly
because I'm a modem user and downloading takes time :P).
Please keep HEBREW in mind, and that I'm an ex-Windows user who's trying
to recover, so I'm used to Word, and the such.
Thank you!
