Glade is not an IDE. It is a "GUI builder for GTK+ and GNOME".
as for gIDE, I played a little with it, but it looks like yet another
abandonware. I would suggest you also take a look at Anjuta (homepage
here - http://anjuta.sourceforge.net) which is by far the most advanced
IDE for gnome. However, imo, Anjuta still isn't a match to kdevelop.
