RE: internet dialer under linux

the gric "dialer" only changes windows registry/ini files for creating new
dialers and it places there the username@ISP in the username field.
besides this it manipulates text file - ISPs database with their numbers,
protocols they support etc. (which is avalable via the gric.com site for
free download.

it won't be very complicated to make a QT/GTK/TCL/ncurses/text application
for the same purpose under linux ... but i believe i won't do it until
i need to use roaming dial up service :-)

bye,
Max.
