I installed all the relevant packages in Debian potato (client,
server, a few dictionaries), which is also where I became aware
of it. Works very well locally, never tried over slow link.

No.
I am also sorry to say I still don't know of a good free hebrew-hebrew,
hebrew-english or english-hebrew dictionary.
Does anyone have anything to update us about the dictionary of babylon?
The last I know is that it's coded and noone knows what the code is.
