well, if you count IBM Israel, maybe. Sun promissed Hebrew for Star
Office but it looks like it went the way of the dodo.
It should be the in the government's interest to have competition, maybe
even fund it now that so many people are losing jobs in hi-tech, but
sadly I doubt that will happen.

many small companies push OSS products, some with representation in this
list, but no major vendors. I know a year and a half ago Mandrake wanted
to start a local dev center in Israel (they turned to people at the last
expo booth a year ago) but nobody from the local "community" had shown
interest. sadly OSS is against the Israeli new set of mind of "let me
use, but I don't want to contribute". Our society, I'm sorry to say, is
also very thankless.
plus, we all know that adding Hebrew to Unix OSS is a major-leage
headache. just ask the people at IBM's HebMozilla team, Eli Marmor and
others.
