There is such a thing as the "If it's working - don't touch!" concept. It
just feels sluggish from time to time, but usually, it works just fine.

It's not like I run a 24 Hours/Day Internet server on it. (not that I can
with my modem and ADSL connections) It's just a developer workstations,
and as such hard-disk access time is not that critical.

I could naturally resize the partitions (I have enough free space for the
while thank you), install the XFS patch when it's in final version,
compile the kernel with the filesystem, move it to my Win98 partition,
reboot, and hope for the best (one of the 2.4.0-testX kernels OOPSed me),
but it seems like too much bother to be worthwhile for the time being.

All in all I'm happy with Reiser. It just has a sluggish feel to it
occasionally, that's all.
