Let's just say I have installed and run Slakware 7 on a 386 w/ 4MB ram
with PLIP for networking (yes it was slow). BTW, 8MB is the minimum
required.. think custom kernel ;)... I think 16MB is the minimum for
Slackware 8.

Subject: Linux on 486 with 16Mb RAM
Hi,
Which distro do you recommend for a Linux box on an 486DX4 with 16Mb RAM
and few GB of HD? I tried MDK7.1 and it had seg fault during install.
RHAT7.1 did not agree to install.
Any suggestions?
