Hi All,
It seems that some very lame changes has happend either in Bezeq ADSL setup
or in Netvision ADSL setups (I belive the latter) which will prevent you from
browsing in your Linux machines if you're using ipchains or equvialent..
Some of the web sites are: all walla.co.il sites, IOL, linuxtoday.com, all
tapuz.co.il sites. It doesn't matter if your workstation is Linux or Windows
(I tried on Linux, Windows 98, and Windows XP beta 2)
You can browse on your machine if your machine also do the dialing, but not
from a machine which is connected using NAT.
The same problem appears even if you dial up with windows and use
applications like winroute (lite and pro) and connect another machine to it..
I have spoke to Netvision, which confirmed that this problem is occuring for
2 days now - but the problem appear ONLY to ADSL users, not
frame-relay/sifranet and not ISDN or simple analog dial up...
A work around will be to connect to a proxy (if you can setup one in other
places) and then browse..
FYI.
happy weekend,
Hetz
