Re: exchange & samba
Hi
as far as I managed to do is use samba as PDC ( for about a year now, a lot before
samba 2 has arrived ). I was not able to use samba as BDC, nor use a NT4 as BDC
when the PDC was samba.
anyway, there is SAMBA-TNG ( i think at www.samba-tng.org), it says it supports
BDC, TRUST and so on. ( I was not able to make it work )
so I had to switch to NT4 PDC :-( (but that was about 3 months ago ... )
If you want to use samba-tng, note that there are a lot of demons to run (not just
smbd and nmbd) and that instead of using smbpasswd, you use samedit.
good luck
regards
erez.
