I'm using pptp to make an Adsl connection and it is working fine.
at the moment I'm playing around with Iptables and routing so I have
to turn off the pptp connection.
The connection is turn off by: ifconfig ppp0 down ; killall pptp
The problem is that when I reconnect the ppp intraface become ppp1
and not ppp0 which confuse all my setting.
Is there a way to force the connection to be ppp0 ?
The pptp line for making a connection is:
pptp 10.0.0.138 debug user myusername@IKmyIPSprovider remotename "10.0.0.138
RELAY_PPP1" defaultroute netmask 255.0.0.0 noauth
thanks,
