We have been using the Teac CD-R. It is an IDE CD-R with rewrite
capabilities (which we haven't used). You can find it at almost any
computer store. We put it on a Debian machine and it works very well,
particularly with images approaching 600 Mb which is where we had problems
with the Philips SCSI CD-R.
