darxsite is pretty nice, it's the most stable solution I've seen to date
and its graphical interface is usable.
Aside from that, I've yet to see a really stable graphical FTP client for
linux. second best (after darxite, which isn't really a true FTP client,
and isn't trivial to use) is KBear, which depends on KDE's network
transparent file access, but offers little more then Konqi with a nice
MDI, and hence is no match for LeechFTP (another underdeveloped project -
last release was at about the same time as the darxite last release :-)
all other things that I've tried (gFTP, Igloo, DPS etc') always crash on
me after a short while.

I guess a good solution would to try to run LeechFTP with wine... I've
failed doing it so far.
