I didn't follow the discussion from its beginning - so I apologize in
advance in case I am "breaking into an open door":
What's bad with Astaro? (except for its license)
It's based on 2.4.
And it does iptables.
And it's strong.
And nice and easy.
It's hardened and small.
It comes on a bootable CD (or downloaded and burned into a CDR).
You just have to insert the CD, and - Voila!
It supports ADSL (as far as I know).
DMZ and everything else - of course.
Is there any catch? (except for the license)
Am I missing anything?
Does anybody have any experience with it? With 2.0?
