small bug in the xdm distributed with RH 7 (and rawhide)

  Hi Alan,

As usual, I don't know who to forward it to, and you seem to always
deal with stuff so swiftly :)

So, the small bug is actually the fact that /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config
doesn't exist in the RedHat 7 and RawHide X11 distributions.

This causes a few problems, among which:

Trying to limit access via the /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess file or
trying to start xdm without the local display, which is configured in
/etc/X11/xdm/Xservers doesn't work.

The xdm-config tells xdm where to find those magic files, and when it
doesn't find xdm-config, it just runs with the defaults.

A simple strace -f xdm shows that clearly. I installed the xdm-config
from the 6.2 release, and it fixed all the problems.

best,
