Re: A new front opened to the linux community.



PPC is still very expensive relative to a middle ground PC (I know its
better then most PCs in the cost/performace issue, but no on the cost
alone). sides - if I'd get a PPC, which I fully intend to in the near
future, I'd leave it running MacOS : Why would I want another linux box when
I can have it both ways ?

As for PS2 - the Linux extension kit includes a black sleek keyboard, mouse
and external HDD on PCMCIA, all carry the cool PS2 emblem.

you can also connect several remote connectivity devices to your PS2 using
its USB port.
if the kit ever becomes available somewhere I can get at it, and at a decent
price - I will have one more box running linux :-)
