What does "lsmod" show? what do you have in /etc/modules.conf (or
/etc.conf.modules)?
what does "grep Ethernet /proc/pci" come up with?
Have you tried "insmod tulip.o" and then "ifconfig -a" ?

If this is indeed a Tulip based card then:
1. Linux works with it like a charm.
2. There's a good chance it's a good card. Tulip a great chipset.
This is surprising for Bezeq ;-)
