bidi xterm segfaults on hebrew chars

As you may know, mandrake 8.1 comes with bidi-support in xterm (hold CTRL
and press the middlle button, you'll see "bidi" in the end of the list.
However, for me this xterm constantly crashes at the sight of a Hebrew
character (when in 8bit mode, not when in "emulation" of 8bit mode using
an ISO-10646-1 font).
running:
xterm.real -fn heb8x13
and then executing:
LANG=he_IL.ISO-8859-8 date
(assuming you have 'locales-he' installed. Any other way to get a hebrew
character will do)
causes my xterm to crash.
Is it the same for others?
