Hi,
I didn't find the lspci command on my system but
cuting the /proc/pci file gave me the following output
concerning the audio device.
Bus 0, device 20, function 5:
multimedia audio controller: VIA technology unknown
device (rev 32).
Vendor id=1106, device id=3058
multimedia devsel, IRQ 11,
I/O at 0xe000 [0xe001]
I/O at 0xe400 [0xe401]
I/O at 0xe800 [0xe801]
Now, I thought I understood that output so I compiled
my kernel with base mem e000, irq 11 and dme 1. It
didnt work, my mp3 player gave a message which state
that my sound is not configured well. It did not give
that message when the kernel was compiled with 220, 5,
1.
Thanks
Erez
