Why? You said you had a problem *reading* Word files, and you just solved
this problem (with win4lin, or antiword|bidiv).
So if you get mails in Hebrew Word, you can read them.

About writing, does anybody actually insist that you send him or her Word
files? You can send them Hebrew HTML, PDF, plain text, Postscript, or
whatever. I'm not saying it's trivial to write Hebrew in any of these formats,
but it's certainly possible, and you don't need any commercial software to
do it.
