Hi Ira,
Regarding my previous mail, I appologize if my choice of words implied that linus is a racist, and i appologize if i upset you, this wasn't my intention.
What I was trying to say is a concern that was voiced by many industry leaders complaining about the so called "project management" linus have on a very important open source project that is connected to many softwares and hardwares developed around the world.
The concern is that linus is trusted to make decision on the kernel of Linux throughout the world but how can the industry feel confident about a one man intentions.
Is it not very similar to another individual we know by the name bill gates that do what he wants?
what if, for example, linus decide from some selfish reason that some important hardware support won't be entered into Linux, how can we be sure that he did that in good faith, after all he is just a human.
This kind of confidence should not be followed blindly, and if you think linus is really fair then he should allow more people into the final decision making and not make the final ruling by himself.
btw, making different forks don't really work because of the confidence many in the Linux community have in linus.
