Hi list.
I thought that an RPM to install pptp-mulix and some scripts would be nice
for newbies, so here's my second attempt at creating a functional RPM
package :
In http://www.geek.co.il/adsl you'll find a source RPM and an i686 binary
for Mandrake 8. I've named it pptp-adsl-il after Mandrake's pptp-adsl-fr.
In addition to pptp-mulix-0.06 you'll find there init.d scripts for
starting and stoping the ADSL connection, and also a crond hack to check
for the link's status and to reconnect if its down.
I've also put in a demo "link configuration file" to connect to Bezeq Int.
as a guest, I hope you won't be mad at me :-)
I would like as much input about it as you can - especially from people
with ADSL ;-)
To do:
a configration script that will ask the user questions about his system
and ADSL account and build the config file automagicly (shouldn't be hard
- just haven't had the time yet).
Oded
