Hi,
I just found a solution to a **feature** of Konqueror that has bothered me
until now. Since I found it by accident, I assume there may be others who can
use this tip.
If you have a file named index.html in a directory and you try to enter that
directory using Konqueror as your file browser, the index.html file is shown
instead of the directory structure. This may be a good thing on the Internet,
but not in a directory on a local machine (at least in my opinion).
The solution is to uncheck the **use index.html** option in the **View** menu.
Hope this is of use to someone. BTW - this solution does appear in the
Konqueror documentation, but I was only able to find it **AFTER** I knew the
answer :-(.
