Ok, i typed gcc-devel , deleted devel with backspace and retyped devel . i
can still edit this e-mail. My X is rock stabel.

Only in the event of continous VM paging, which was a problem with pre
2.4.6 kernel (of the 2.4.x line)
could it be a problem with the customized TAU ditro ?
