There is a bunch of PS fonts available from IBM:

ftp://ftp.ibm.net.il/pub/fonts/os2/hebfont.zip

You may need o use a client that supports active-mode ftp.

(I repeat my question: anybody knows if this file is available from a
server that is actually owned by IBM and allows decent downloads?)

You can also convert TTFs to PS fonts. I don't remember exactly how.

You can easily convert ttf to ps with ttf2pt1 converter. You can get it from http://ttf2pt1.sourceforge.net/
If you are using *BSD I know that there is a package called ttf2pf something like that, that can do this job for you.
