I believe that what Nimrod claims is that if somebody has read the copy
assignment and understood it enough to modify (=copy) it, and to modify it
well, then this one understands that assignment well enough.

This claim may be prove correct, or incorrect. I can think of a number of
arguments in favour of both sides. But linux-il is not the right place for
them. If you want a closer place: take this to hackers-il.
