Hi list.
For some reason it doesn't want to work...
All I need is to connect through null-modem cable to another Linux
machine. Tried both 2.2.16 with pcmcia-cs-3.1.99 and 2.4.2 on RH7.0
Any attempts to connect to port in Minicom doesn't succeed.
Have I missed something?
The laptop has a modem built-in. Setserial /dev/ttyS0 returns
/dev/ttyS0, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x03f8, IRQ 4
Setserial /dev/ttyS1:
/dev/ttyS0, UART: unknown, Port: 0x02f8, IRQ 3
which is just parameters of standard PC com ports 1 and 2...
None of them wants to connect...
Regards,
Maxim Kryachko
