Hi,
Recently I have installed RedHat 7.2 on a Pentium 200 machine, with
128MB ram, and 4GB hd, the machine used to have a RedHat 7.0 and work
fine.
Now, that I have installed 7.2, with a ext3fs partition, and 256mb of
swap, even when no user is logged in, the hard disk is working all the
time and the LED is blinking, top shows that the CPU is more that 90%
idle, but always kjournald is one of the top three processes in top's
view.
Is it the strange effect of journaling file system? and is it normal?
Yours,
