Right, but the original question was about mp3 music on CD, not those old-
fashioned audio CDs. Unlike audio CDs, his drive (and most other drives too)
didn't switch to a slow speed when reading mp3 files - even though the
computer was actually reading those files at a very slow speed (10 times
slower than 1x!), which is why an explicit command was needed to slow down the
CD.
