Hi Ran,

Try dpkg-reconfigure base-config. You can probably do without these silly
profiles and install everything by hand, it shouldn't be too time consuming.
I personally prefer apt-get to dselect for most things, perhaps you should
consider migrating from dselect.

You probably did something wrong, #debian@OPN is an extremely useful help
channel.
