Hi,
I know they really aren't modems, but everyone I know calls them that.
What I need is get a terminal adaptor that will let st up dial out on demand
ppp over ISDN. I guess the easiest way is to use the standard pppd with an
external ISDN "modem", if I can still get one.
>From reading the faqs, etc, I find that there is an ISD pppd (ipppd)
that works in a similar way with an ISDN internal card. Has anyone done
this and if so, can you recommend a specific card?
My requirments are that it works without intervention, i.e. once set up
it keeps on going and going and going :-), and it is simple to set up.
For reasons I cannot explain here, I cannot use aDSL, it must be ISDN.
If it helps, I'll be using Red Hat 7.1.
Thanks, Geoff.
