Another thing just occured to me. I have a sound card with an IDE on it. My
CD is connected to the board 2'nd IDE. I suspect that maybe there is a
collision between them. Now, RedHat Kudzu recognizes my sound card's IDE
automatically. Two questions: 1. How can I uninstall the Sound Card's IDE
(And only it) 2. How do I make Kudzu not recognize it ever again...

hi!
this is a weird problem, but we had a similar one at work with our new
cdroms. in our case we couldn't even install it. we had to replace to an
old cdrom, and then after the installation compile a new kernel. (we
compiled 2.4.5 at the time). then we could use the newer cdroms.
