I think aRts / ESD would be an overkill. Even if it won't
kill your Ethernet bandwidth / switch, there might be skips and
generally it'll be very inefficient (that's a persistent CD-quality
176KByte/sec on your LAN, to multiple users).
Better consider doing the MP3 decoding on the client's side.
