I have the SuSE 6.1 CD 's & and I'm within reach of
SuSE 6.4 CD 's--both have an option for a 40MB installation
which include gcc and glibc (not sure about networking apps).
Both claim to be able to run on i386.
This option is sustained by Yast (Yast2 on 6.4) .
