Hi Noam,
I haven't played for a long time with Samba, but if memory serves correctly,
the stable versions of Samba can only operate as BDC (Backup Domain
Controller), which means - you still Windows NT/2000 server to be a PDC
(Primary Domain Controller)
However, upon looking at freshmeat.net in the last few days, I've seen a new
version of samba - version 2.2.0 alpha 3 - which now can operate as PDC for
Windows NT/2000 clients (and Windows 9x of course, although they don't really
use the PDC/BDC functions much). This is not a stable version, but feel free
to use it..

any problems.
Good Luck,
Hetz
