Ok.... problem resolved ...finally.
For those who will have the problem in the future...i just cant believe
i'm the only one with this shit :)
attached is my current working lilo.conf.
The advice on adding the lines of disk=... was indeed very helpfull, the
catch was to try many versions of it since the BIOS gives each disk a
number usually starting with 0x80 but it seems each BIOS runs a
different sequense of numbers, lilo is now installed on /dev/hda (doesnt
work on /dev/hdd) and loads just fine - linux and Win2K.
Regarding Win2k, i'm still having the same problem, when both HD's are
inserted win2K crashes after it loads with error
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONE_PAGED_EREA 0x00000050 or 0x0000001e in
ntoskrnl.exe... but that's a whole new ball game involving windoze only.
