Hi People,
Well, just in case you think Redhat is not mad enough (or doesn't have the
balls to jump into extremly dangerous water) - look at this: (from rawhide's
directory)
..whide/i386/RedHat/RPMS > ls -l gcc*
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 3466485 Dec 4 10:39
gcc-3.1-0.10.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 1844019 Dec 4 10:39
gcc-c++-3.1-0.10.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 1794106 Dec 4 10:39
gcc-g77-3.1-0.10.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 1412110 Dec 4 10:40
gcc-java-3.1-0.10.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 1254640 Dec 4 10:39
gcc-objc-3.1-0.10.i386.rpm
ncftp ...whide/i386/RedHat/RPMS >
Adios binary compatibility, GCC 3.0.x probably won't see the light of day in
Redhat distributions....
