actually, a few month back i had a discussion with my (now ex) flatmate
about what does 'pipes' mean in GUI programming. we tried setting some
groups for defining a mechanism that will allow piping data between
different GUI components in some manner that will be useful. after an hour
or two we got to a temporary conclusion that this requiers a real
research, yet we had some ideas that seems somewhat feasible (don't ask me
what they were - i forgot...).
maybe this is a topic for discussion on another list? just to keep ilya
happy? ;)
