Hi
In the installation of Mandrake I saw a script called "live_update". It
appears to be aimed to run the installer on a live system.
A web search has come up with one recommendation not to use it to upgrade
from 7.2 to 8.0 and one success report (almost no failiure reports).
I assume that this means that not many people have tried it, and thus
there are not enough reports.
Can anybody tell more about this?
Is the system partially usable at the time of the installation from
live_update?
