My POINT was, you don't need to do the whole mount procedure each time you
want a directory of a floppy.

Er... what other kind of floppies do you use? minix them for backups? The
only reason for a floppy drive in the first place is to read MSDOS
files...

me how big a 4GB HDD is... 3"? 2"?...
