Redhat 4.0 trouble....
After a 4.0 redhat install (intel), I get
e2fsck 1.04, 16-may-96 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
e2fsck: Is a directory while trying to open /dev/hda2
The filesystem superblock is corrupt. Try running e2fsck with an
alternate superblock using the -b option. (8193 is commonly an
alternate superblock)
I tryed to run : e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/hda2 , but no luck. I am then
told
e2fsck : Is a directory while trying to open /dev/hda2
If I try
e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/hda I get bad magic block size.
I deletded my #2 primary partition and made a new one, still no luck.
If u can help, I need it! Thanks
Here are my lilo & fstab files
