remote mount
1) Remote mount problem in Slakware linux installation.
I often have to install linux via NFS from one of our suns.
For that purpose I have a couple of addresses in hosts and DNS, though
there are no actual stations on these addresses most of the time.
The packages are under /users/steel and as you can see any one from the
hosts should be able to remotely mount it.And still, when I choose "via NFS"
during the installation I get "permission denied" from the NFS server.
Only when I remove "-access hosts" I am able to perform the remote mount.
The strange thing is that when I am through with the installation and
Linux is up and running, it has no problems with "-access hosts" any more.
Here is a few lines from the ordinary linux fstab:
/dev/hda3 / ext2 defaults 1 1
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
steel:/users/steel/lab /users/steel/lab nfs rw,noac 0 0
steel:/users/steel2/course /users/steel2/course nfs rw,soft,bg,
nosuid 0 0
2) xlock is buggy.
Have anybody noticed that xlock on linux doesn't lock anything?
turing ~ >/usr/bin/X11/xlock -mode flame # and I press a sequence of <Enter>
Floating exception # OOPS...
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. Take a look:
steel ~ >ypcat hosts | grep 132.72.40.150
132.72.40.150 ltmp3 #linux installation temporary address 3
steel ~ >arp steel
steel (132.72.40.1) -- no entry
steel ~ >uname -a
SunOS steel 4.1.4 3 sun4m
steel ~ >+ /etc/exports
/var -access=hosts
/addons2 -access=hosts
#/addons3 -access=hosts
/users/steel -access=hosts
/users/steel2 -access=hosts
