I also have a SB16-SCSI 2 card.
What you have to do is at the boot prompt enter
"ramdisk aha152x=<port>,<irq>,<scsi_id>,1"
(without the quote marks of course)

where the <> parameters are those of the Adaptec SCSI controller, you
can get them from from the "Adaptec SCSI Interrogator" application in the 
Adaptec group of Windows.

In my configuration it is "ramdisk aha152x=11,5,7,1" and actually
"ramdisk aha152x=11,5" is enough.

BTW, all this is written in the Installation HOWTO, which is good to read
anyway.

Hope this solves the problem.
