NFS problems
Hi, everyone.
I have been working for hours on getting NFS to work. For some reason,
when trying to mount a machine I always get a:
mount clntudp_create: RPC: Program not registered
Although rpc.nfsd (and portmapper, of course) are running on the server
machine (and rpc.mountd on the local). rpcinfo -p on the server:
program vers proto port
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
100000 2 udp 111 portmapper
100005 1 udp 656 mountd
100005 1 tcp 658 mountd
100003 2 udp 2049 nfs
100003 2 tcp 2049 nfs
100007 2 udp 665 ypbind
100007 2 tcp 667 ypbind
100004 2 udp 668 ypserv
100004 1 udp 668 ypserv
100004 2 tcp 671 ypserv
However, the program not registered problem persists. Could this have
anything to do with the recent modifications to the kernel networking
code? I'm using 1.3.92
Thanks,
Shay
