It is true, but joiners of SunSoft conferences may get an OS free of
charge. Usually these conferences are in the U.S., but there was one
in Israel (8-9 months ago) which cost $350 (including the Yom-Iyun).

Regarding to SunSoft list prices: very very expensive. I wanted to
make a minor^2 upgrade (from 2.5 to 2.5.1) and they (in Israel)
wanted an impossible price of $370 (I think). Now, let's guess that
normal minor upgrade (e.g. 2.4 to 2.5) should cost twice, and we get
the price of $740. Now, let's guess that major upgrade (e.g. SunOS to
Solaris) should cost twice, and we get the price of $1480. Isn't it a
Chutzpa ?
