I agree with the above.
The implication from the original posting is that there is something
morally wrong in lurking or that is "bad citizenship" to be subscribed
to the list and not to vote on the Amuta issue.

Linux IL is, among other things, a mailing list. Some of the more
active participants of the list (that also engage in other activities)
want to for an Amuta. This is all very nice and I sincerely wish the
Amuta to take off and succeed in whatever its mission is, but some
of us just want to stay as subscribers for the occasional transfer of
information.
