Is it ATAPI IDE ??? If so no special support is required.

The entire CLGD-54xx family uses the same chipsets (surprisengly enough,
the same as SGI ;-) so you should'nt have any problem).

The more important question should be, do you have any app which supports
it to run under Linux, you won't find any low level drivers to compile
into the kernel if that's what you're looking for, i.e. it's more of a
software question than a hardware.
