Hi to all of you.
I have a couple of questions and be glad to see some of them answered.
- Laplink.Does anybody knows how to copy from hard to hard through
parallel ports in Linux (using laplink, like in DOS) ?

- Tseng Labs ET4000-W32P video card, Vesa Local Bus.
I have this graphics processor on board of the LIGHTSPEED VL adapter
and it just won`t work with the XF86_W32 X server.
The display is capable of 30-64 hsync and 50-100 vsync and below is the
message I get when running X -probeonly using XF86Config configured by
xf86config (using 131 from the video card data base):

XFree86 Version 3.1.2 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6000)
Operating System: Linux
Configured drivers:
ET4000W32: accelerated server for ET4000W32 graphics adaptors (Patchlevel 0):
      et4000w32, et4000w32i, et4000w32p_rev_a, et4000w32i_rev_b,
      et4000w32i_rev_c, et4000w32p_rev_b, et4000w32p_rev_c,
      et4000w32p_rev_d
(using VT number 7)

XF86Config: /etc/XF86Config
(**) stands for supplied, (--) stands for probed/default values
(**) Mouse: type: MouseMan, device: /dev/mouse, baudrate: 1200
(**) ET4000W32: Graphics device ID: "STB LightSpeed"
(**) ET4000W32: Monitor ID: "My Monitor"
(--) ET4000W32: Mode "1280x1024" needs hsync freq of 78.86 kHz. Deleted.
(--) ET4000W32: Mode "1280x1024" needs hsync freq of 81.13 kHz. Deleted.
(**) FontPath set to "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
(--) ET4000W32: ET4000: Initial hibit state: high

At which point only Three Finger Salute is helpful.
However, when I switched to XF86_SVGA X server everything was OK.
Below is the message this time (I've skipped the header):

I'll be glad to receive any valuable comments or even the file XF86Config
  itself.

  Thanks.
