Shalom,
Netscape generates files that are in fact the copies of your differents
accesses to internet sites, in this way he can perform the "back" and
"forward" very quickly. The only drawback is that disk space must be
used to hold these files.
When your disk is almost full (see the df command) it will result by an
increased use of the swap partition (I think) and then slow disk access.
Try the following:
- in the Option menu of Netscape choose Network preferences
and Cache option, look at the amount of disk cache you allow,
try to reduce it and if this does't help you will have to decide to
clear it or not.
- if the df command give you a used rate more than 95%
may be you have to tell your system adminstrator to allow you
more disk space.
