Last October it was just over 1.5Gb including distributions!

I'll add another opinion on commercial support.
I maintain the Hebrew Unix Archive, with web and ftp services provided
from two different computers accessing the same disk.
The servers are provided by the Technion's Computer Science department.
They help when they can but... the anonymous ftp computer was sent to be
fixed 3 months ago and has not returned. Therefor there's no anon ftp in
this period.
If this computer was giving commercial services, I'm sure it would not be
down for 3 months.
I recommend that the resources (computer, DNS computer, disks...) we will
use be shared with important services provided by the organization we
work with. This will provide for better availability.
