There are three ways I know of to connect (and print) to a Novell server.
The first one, which I strongly recommend, is using ncpfs. It's a free
Novell client that supports both Novell-filesystem mounting and printing
via a Novell server's queues and works great as far as I know:
linux01.gwdg.de/pub/ncpfs
The second one is getting Caldera. Caldera is a commercial distribution
that adds many things, including interfaces, office tools, and Novell
client features. If the ONLY thing you need is Novell client features,
there's no reason to pay for something that's free.
The third one (and the one I personally despise most) is buying Netware NFS.
Netware NFS is a set of NLMs that run on the Novell server and provide Unix
services. For example, it allows NFS mounting of its filesystems, Unix
access to its print queues, etc.
