This little error has very little to do with the type of system you have
or lack, you cluelss newbie. SIG11 on compilation usually means that
something is rather seriously wrong with the system. When you compile -
does the problem occur ALLWAYS at the very same place in the very same
file? If no - you have a memory problem.
If not, kill some demons and compile again (sendmail is a good
candidate). If the error does NOT occur at the very same place, but does
occur, this probably means you have a dead memory SIMM (or TWO).
Try removing or shifting memory in your computer.
