Consult the Hebrew-HOWTO file (available from Evgeny's WWW site -
http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Linux
for Hebrew language editors (Hebrew emacs, etc.).

I am still praying for a WYSIWYG Hebrew word processor (such as a port of
DAGESH to Unix environment).
And for terminal program working in Hebrew, you may use minicom together
with the files available from:

ftp://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/pub/software/linux/hebrew/hminicom.tgz

(Warning: this is a plug, because I created this small package.)

  Cheatware, n.:

Software which has attractive man-machine interface and which makes you
believe that it does something that it does not actually do. Example:
some brands of RAM doubler software.
