Why not ? It is technique that I usually use with partition table.
It allways work. DOS not confused at all. May be it dumb enought
to beleive table. More of that you can get all 4 primaryes partition
by this technique ( FIPS do not always do it by your wish ).
I never get DOS overwritten to Linux partition.
"Not enought room" or like that is usual message I've got before
I bought new disk.
