I do agree with you on _all_ points.
I think that if more and more people on this list will find legitim to
be sociable with computer rather than with people,
then no issues will remains but to leave this list.

subscribe to linux-newbie mailing list
get a list of all the mailing lists available from vger.rutgers.edu
get a list of the available commands to ask majordomo
You will get kind answer from competent people too, and even if you send
a dumb question to the kernel list, I don't think you'll get such flames
as Marc V., but a kind message telling you where to ask and even solving
your problem.
