Re: Re[2]: moving from aout to ELF
Hi Again.
First of all, It seems like you are mixing identities. I didn't ask the initial question.
What I resent most, is the patriarchal tone of voice used, with sentences
like "search well before you come to nag with your question", or "..Maybe linux is not
for you..".
There is nothing personal here, just a trend that bugs me.
Another thing, I don't agree with the assumption that any one who knows
the words elf, a.out and libraries is not a novice. Why do you assume that
people know how to search, or even the location of basic HOWOTO URL's?
You probably know by heart at-least addresses of 3-4 sites that have them.
If you don't want any one to waste your time, don't answer. In that context, why
create so much mail traffic over nothing?
About reinventing the wheel, that can be applied to any question asked and
answered, more than once. I guess there are few of those.
I agree that there is no point in telling the whole story over and over
again, but lets be honest, would it heart to include http://sunsite.unc.edu/mdw/...
or whatever?
