Look into XF86Config file (either under /etc/ or /usr/lib/X11, depending on
utility you've created it with).
Section "Screen" in the bottom of the file should look like
Section "Screen"
Driver "vga256"
Device "RandomDevice-0"
Monitor "RandomMonitor-0"
Subsection "Display"
Depth 8
Modes "1024x768" "640x480" "800x600"
# ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ViewPort 0 0
Virtual 1024 768
EndSubsection
EndSection
The 'Modes' line is what defines resolutions (Ctrl+Alt+(grey + or -) switch
between them). Of course, you should have definitions of the modes in the
Section "Monitor" above.
If you want the entire config file (WD90c31 & SyncMaster 17GLs), drop me a
message.
BTW, which chipset is on your card? WD90c33? I want to change my current ATI
Mach32 to Paradise wd90c33, but my dealer says that these cards being no longer
brought to Israel...
