If you have downloaded all required files of G you should have this xkb.
Try to "find" it. Just move all xkdb directory to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11.
Did you do "cd /usr/X11R6" before untarring or you've just put them
in root ? ( As I did at first time. He-he, Readme.Last ! )
Did you use thear XFSetup ?
It check over all files you should have and write XF86Config for you.
All recomendation of XFSetup was good and after moving all missing
files ( there was some, not just xkdb ) to right place All work correct.
