Your configuration files seem fine, and I'd bet that the problem is
on the DOS side rather than on the Linux side. Having Novell and Lantastic
working doesn't mean much since there's absolutely no connection between
the protocols. First, instead of NCSA Telnet try using Trumpet Winsock
for Windows just to check it out. It's much easier to configure (provided
you have the NIC's packet driver). Next, connect using IP addresses ONLY.
This would eliminate the chance of it being a problem with DNS. At the
Linux machine, try telnetting to 127.0.0.1 just to see you have telnet
running with no problems (telnets back to itself). Again, concentrate
on the DOS/Windows side - Linux should be running OK.
