You may try the following:
1. Change back the disk type from Linux native to DOS using Linux FDISK
from a boot diskette.
2. Boot the machine using a MS-DOS diskette.
3. Then access the files using MS-DOS.
NEXT TIME BACKUP EVERYTHING BEFORE MAKING SUCH DRASTIC CHANGES!!!!!!!
Under Linux it is so easy it's stupid crime not to backup things.
