Suits me fine. Let's hold the meeting at center of Israel - Tel Aviv or
near to it (and the heck with priority or rotation with Jerusalem, Haifa
or Eilat). Of course, if people want to spend 2 months deciding how to
vote where to hold the meeting...

I disagree. I think that we all miss more points in a meeting than in
E-mail exchange which allows several hours and even days to question and
answer questions. (BIG DISCLAIMER!!! I am deaf, so of course I'll miss
100% of what my neighbor wouldn't write down; and miss 0% of what is
being conducted by E-mail. Take this into considration when evaluating
my claim above.)

OK - I remember the nice demos in the last Linux-IL meeting.

Conduct this discussion on this list (i.e. by E-mail).

If to judge from the Computax show experience, E-mail was very effective
in doing most of the organizational work. People had time to think over
ideas, to make inquiries etc. Same as being in a several days long
meeting with ability to place phone calls outside as needed, but without
the cost of being imprisoned in such a meeting.
However meeting would still be needed if it is decided that we need to
collect money from the members. I hope that this would not be needed
this time.

Discuss this both in E-mail and also in the meeting. This is a subject
which is worthy of drawn out E-mail discussion and heated arguments & fist
fighting in face-to-face meeting. :-)
