Well, it would be nice to postpone this for the meeting. If there is internet
connection we'd be able to watch apps running and decide whether they deserve to
be shown on COMPUTAX. But the time is limited and internet connection is
questionable; so I suggest the following: make (small?) gifs of applications
running and put it in publically accessible place: ftp.huji.ac.il has incoming
dir under linux tree, for example.

I played with console fonts once and think it's impossible. BTW, setting
alternative console fonts (really, alternative remapping) caused problems in X -
I couldn't use xmodmap properly. But maybe I just didn't spend enough time to
solve this (practically, I use console only when upgrading to new X server or
videocard -:)).
