Mirroring Sunsite (was: Re: Linux-il hosting etc.)

Various people comment on the problem of building a full Sunsite mirror
at the end of a 64K link.

Wouldn't it be practical idea to order from Sunsite a set of say 15
CD-ROMs which contain the snapshot of their site's current contents (if
they have such a set).
This will come in place of initial transfer via the Internet. Then use
the 64K link only for updates?

(The idea was inspired by the saying that one should never underestimate
the information transfer bandwidth of a station wagon carrying several
magnetic tapes.)
