Re: a new homepage frontend?

  Hi,

[I think I deleted my original reply. If not, sorry.]

No offence meant, but that's awful. I mean, you might as well post:

Linux-IL : We Use The Same Java Code as Everyone Else!

Now, I admit, I hate Java and animated GIFs on general principals, But
even if I didn't... I mean, please, let's be original? That LED sign thing
is just soo corny, everybody and their 2-year-old brother have installed
it already. As for the animated GIF...well, I don't know, it looks totally
out of place there.

Just my opinion.

			Bye,

				-Yaron.

P.S.
No, I am not volunteering to write a better, more original Java applet. I
don't know Java, which is why there's no Java on my homepage. I _do_ know
Perl, which is why there are Perl-scripts used therein (note the
Marc-style sentance construction). I'm sure we have a Java Guru umong us;
I suggest we either do something spectacular (well... original) or leave
out the Java. We're good; let's prove it. If anyone needs perl-thinggies,
I'll be more than happy to help.
