well, I don't have an ATI, that's why the best way to look for help is 
the list, we actually had a discussion about ATI here the other day. do 
you have 16 megs?

Slackware 3.0, 80 NIS, and it is mass produced, not CD-R.

either you took the wrong kernel image, or compiled the wrong options in, 
or didn't supply the right parameters etc. RTFM, I guess :-)
