	I work with Mitsumi IDE CD-ROMs both 2x and 4x (on Gateway
	machines) - they were supported since 1.2.3; till 1.2.8
	there was a bug that prevented CDplayers (like xmcd)
	from accessing the last track (it was *very* annoying)
	- this bug is fixed in 1.2.9

	The thing that helps is

	cd /usr/src/linux/drivers/block
	chmod +x MAKEDEV.ide1
	./MAKEDEV.ide1
