2. Did you use Slackware to install? If so, it prompts you if you wish to 
install tcsh. Type " which tcsh" to see if you have it around(should be in 
/usr/bin i think). Otherwise just download it or install it from 
slackware(using the quickinstall).

3. If you are talking about X, you can change resolutions by pressing the 
Ctrl, Alt and +(or -) keys simultaniously. If this doesnt do anything for 
you, then you have to play around with your /etc/XF86Config (best done 
usring the xf86config) so that you can use higher resolutions.

5. .cshrc should be placed in the user's home directory. You can also put 
a .cshrc file in /etc/csh.login if you want a system-wide .cshrc.

I'm not so sure about the rest of them.
