I compiled hebrew version of pico-2.3 some time ago (about 2 months) and don't
remember now whether I used linux specific makefile which came with distribution
(if it did) or not. It runs ok, without sigfaults. You can take my compiled
executable, if you want.

Installation is primitive. Just put it in any path searchable place. I renamed
it as hpico, so users that don't need hebrew support in pine can use english
pico which is newer (version 2.5. BTW, does anyone has hebrew patches for this
version?). Of course, if you're planning to use hebrew support, you should run
pico or the entire pine from a shell with hebrew fonts, e.g. xterm -fn heb8x13.
