Re: CD dirve lock or busy
I do not know what exactly happens, but it can be if you are
trying to mount CD that is not ready yet, i.e. a few seconds
after inserting it. Thus, I know I should not mount my CD if
CD drive "ready" LED is blinking still.

: I can't tell exactly the scenario, but from time to time, CDROM
: refuses to mount, because of busy, lock or already mounted file
: system.
:
: If I do unmount, it tells you, nothing mounted.
:
: More information -
:
: - I am not in the directory I am trying to mount.
: - It happens on RedHat (I don't remember to have it on Slackware)
: - The CDROM was mounted and unmounted succesfuly in that session,
: before. (It never happened for the first mount in a session)
: - Reboot solves it.
:
: Any idea ?
:
: Thanks,
