Hi! I saw that the new kernels have their own "kswapd" and "kflushd". Can anyone shed some light on what they are, and what I need to do to switch from 1.3.48 to 1.3.68 (for example), because the 1.3.48 does not have them! I think that running bdflush on such a kernel has some dangerous implications. This is the only thing that could explain my disk-crash last week. Any ideas where to read about those? Thanks, Amit.
