Re: Hebrew editors

I downloaded the Hebrew version of vim, and I can't get it to compile,
even though I believe I've followed all the instructions. It always stops
compiling with "undeclared reference dorsmap" or something to that effect.

Also, the Hebrew emacs package includes a patch for emacs 18.58. Will
this work with later versions?

The hebrew.el at huji appears to have the characters mapped differently to
the fonts. The fonts correspond to the mapping under TeX, but the emacs
lisp program doesn't seem suitable for writing a document in Hebrew
anyway, but rather for inserting Hebrew words into a mainly English text.

What is the usual program program used for editing Hebrew TeX documents,
which will also have both inserted English and whole English paragraphs?
