OK, I'll answer this, but Marc, for god's sake, put the kernel update
questions into the list's FAQ, and do it soon. Reln: please change the
subscription reply from the majordomo to make clear that no posts are
allowed until http://www.linux.org.il/linux-il-faq.html is read and
memorized!
Igal: Many things changed between the kernel versions, including the way
the PPP is handled by Linux, and you must update many things in your
system.
read /usr/src/linux/Documentation/*/*
one of the first you may find interesting there is a file called
"Changes".
