I am the last one to defend windows in here, BUT, you should keep facts as
they are. I am sure it doens't take 2.4 hours to repaginate 64 pages, unless
your whole configuration is fucked up badly. I have Pentium60, with 16MB Ram,
and I had a 100+ pages book, and when I started changing the paper size, and
many other things, it took it arround a min to repaginate. Right, there are no
tables/graphics in it, but even WITH graphics, it should have taken arround
few minutes. Besides, who is writing so many books, AND, who writes a heavy
graphical book in ONE file?
(P.S. - I also once helped a guy who had sever problems with a book he writes,
that it took it AGES to repaginate - and after I setupped windows properly,
arround 20-25 pages FULL of graphics and tables, it was a geometry book,
repaginated in a few mins!).
Anyway, even WITH the slight limitation of slow repaginating, Word 6.0 IS a
very very very very good Word Processor. And you'll find very few people to
disagree about that.
