I've seen several similiar cases with ELF though not once did anyone find
a solution, most Slackware users have migrated to ELF, the probbie is,
it's still in Beta stage, so problems should be expected with it, or in
other words - Backup or cry

The great advantage of ELF over a.out is with linking dynamically, with
ELF it's almost trivial to do it while with a.out you need skip most
sleeping hours to be able to do it.. ah well
