partition table



Shay,

try to remember what were your partition table parameters exactly
and just build your partition table exactly the same it was.
never try to write other things to your disk even in the living dos,
until it will be fixed well.
don't forget to put in the partition table the type of each partition
(linux native, linux swap) .
the boot mark (active one) will choose what partition will boot next time.
since you have already did FDISK /MBR you lost the lilo from MBR (if you 
had it on MBR) so booting partition is the marked (must have one) one.
