well, I have the Caldera up and running here at the school, and it
bahaves nice. the client can do both NDS and bidery, and is user
independent. haven't tested it thoroughly yet (look at the time! I should
go home now!) but the basic concept is that you run
nwlogin -u ira -s min4100
it asks for a pass (you can give that in the CMDline too), and logs you
in smoothly, as it appears on the server's console. two users can login
at the same time for all it cares too, each guy's permissions kept,
directories viewable as defined on the Novell, bindery and NDS objects
viewed as files (like the /proc concept) and all is generally accessed
through /NetWare/bindery/MIN4100/SYS/system/yosi.nlm pathes and the like
(use your imagionation)
next, I'll try links, transfers, long filenames and all... right now I
just want to go to bed.
