That's probably because they use mass-printing, which costs something
like 0.05$ (yes, 5 cents) per CD rather than the 20+$ a single CD
costs (depending on the price of gold at the time of purchase, as they
are gold-plated).

And if I'm here allready - the prices for CDR's I heard range between
2000 to 4000+ dollars.  They are certainly much cheaper in the states,
apparently.
