Welp, the X server is just an empty GUI, so to speak, to get all those
good things like windows, icons and such, you should also run a window
manager, like fvwm, bowman and the like.
This is usually dont by make a script called "startx" or the like, which
i'm pretty sure is already on your system.
In shot, all you have to do is type "startx" instead of "X" ;-)
