You seem to be worried about "exposure" to people in 2nd-sized shows.
I think we fit a lot better into a show like LAN96, which is specialized
in subjects Linux excels at, and to which mostly experts would come -
people who are specifically interested in networking solutions. Personally,
I'd have come to LAN96 before coming to Computax - it's a lot more
interesting then general shows. The general shows have a tendancy of
drawing in crowds which have no interest (or reason to be interested) in
stuff like Linux - like I said, half my time was spent for showing kids
how Linux can multitask Doom and 3 mpegs. I think we have a chance
to have a professional networking presentation and enter experts'
awarenesses better in LAN96 than in shows like Computax. And I think
that's what we have to do in this stage.

About your second point. It was agreed that the next show will not
be funded by our money, but that we should find a sponsor. This holds
true for all the shows we'll be in from now on (I don't think there's
much argument over this point). About time investment - all I can say is,
whoever can come, should come. I do believe that enough people on this
list have the time to present in more than one show per year. Maybe
we should hold a meeting soon and discuss what to do.

Has anyone gotten on Anashim and Machshevim's case yet? ;-)
