First of all, the color version of the above printer is HP DeskJet 660C
(at least this is what I have). If I remember correctly, it is possible to
install an upgrade kit to upgrade your printer to be color printer. I
assume you have already done so.

Secondly, to print to it from TeX, you first run TeX as usual. Then use
the dvi550c command:
dvi550c -f/var/texfonts/pk/localfont/ _file_ -o_file_.pcl
Then:
cat _file_.pcl | lpr

You have to do some magic with links to the TeX fonts for the above to
work all right. dvi550c uses scheme for locating font information which
is slightly incompatible with those of drivers of other printers.

The above program is in the ntb-djc package in the T series of Slackware 3.0.

Another approach (which was very time consuming on 386DX-33 based PC, on
your Pentium it may take shorter time):
Use GhostScript, with -sDEVICE=cdj550

Your PostScript file needs to have the appropriate commands to turn on
and off the various colors - I don't know what they are.

And... at this opportunity, I'd like to know if anyone else knows how to
specify color in TeX documents, which eventually get printed in color
printers?
