My response on this argument. While I understand the problem of
people with Unix stuff, I have to agree with Evgeny. A thing simple
as reading a HOWTO should be done prior to messages asking these
kind of questions. I cannot believe anyone around here expects people
can serve as HOWTOs; that's what HOWTOs were made for. The Linux
Documentation Project books (and Matt Welsh's Linux guide especially) are
very professional and comprehensive guides with pointers to HOWTOs,
guides, and sites with info. If AFTER reading all the relevant howtos
one still can't understand what to do, only then should a question
be posted.

As to the complaint about the time taken for these things, yes - that's
so. Changing from aout to ELF can be a difficult subject and requires some
time investment. And I assure you guys that doing this kind of change would
take a lot more headaches and time in Microsoft products than in Linux
(regardless of the big fat volumes Microsoft sells).

Again, just try taking the time to read the HOWTOs - people here are
very busy usually and want to help - but not in this way.
