hardly a Linux question, but here goes...
ISDN is NOT a line multiplexor of any sort, it is a digital dialup line
of 64k bits wide. Bezek always sells those 64k channels in pairs, which
is the most common standard for ISDN today, other than some American
switches witch still give you single lines of 56k.
if you want to connect multiple users you either buy a terminal server
(expensive) or connect as many modems as you can to your computer
(usually 4) and add again on other networked linii (also expensive) or
get a multi-port card and connect 20,30, or even 40 people to the same
machine, only make sure it's a Pentium first...
to read more about these cards, look up an article about them in one of
the latest Linux Journals, witch is available on the web, or go straight
to www.cyclades.com, www.comtrol.com (their RocketPort is supposed to be
the best on the market), www.stallions.com and I forgot the address for
digi.
