Hi Ira,

 There is also a great program call xvidtune that enable you to adjast
the setting to your monitor.
The way to work with this program is
1. reset the monitor to it's factory defaults.
2. Adjast the config file with xvidtune - to get the best results
   from the monitor (especialy important with Sony-GDM17se.
