FW: mach64 and XWindows
Hello Guys,
This isn't really Linux-il stuff, but I need a favour out of you guys. I am
currently in negotiations with ATI regarding my non-X-working board. They have
many revisions of that board, and they ARE willing to send me a board of a
WORKING revision, so that I'll be able to operate XWindows with it.
The board is ATI Graphics Xpression PCI, 2MB DRAM (and ONLY this), and I need
to know the following details, in order for them to send me a working one. I
know it's a big favour, cause it means you need to pull out the board, and
read all that info, but when I did it for MY board, it didn't take so long. so
if someone is willing to do this for me, I'd REALLY apprecaite it.
So, here is the info I need, please send it to me, if you can.

>1. The three rows of numbers on the mach64 chip itself.

>2. The silk-screened number on the card. It should look like 109-xxxxx-xx.

>3. The board p/n. It should look like 102xxxxxxx.

>4. The bios p/n. The BIOS part number can be found on a white sticker
> attached to the ROM chip on your ATI card. Video products will post the
> BIOS part number on the screen at boot time. Most ATI mach8,mach32 and
> sound products come with an "INFO" utility (C-INFO, V-INFO, S-INFO, 8-
> INFO) which will report the BIOS part number. The ATI mach64 based
> products have a 'SHOW SYSTEM INFORMATION' option in the INSTALL program.
