Re: cross compiling GCC?
Issa
We have several Solaris 2.5 servers and stations here. The servers
have most of what you want including gcc.
I could place gcc on anonymous ftp if you want (2.7.2)
Alternately, at least one company sells a CD ROM with precompiled
binaries for mostly anything. See appendix (it says 2.4, but the 2.5 disk
is out)

This is Wintertime for Solaris 2.4 sparc and x86
------------------------------------------------
a powerfull ready to run PD-Collection
For those people, who are not interested in hacking other people
sources to get useful tools should continue to read this message.
We have done the work to compile a huge part of the winter 95
Internet for Solaris 2.4 or higher. It is available for
sparc and x86.
To complete your convenience all tools are in Sun PKG-Format, so
installation and removal is as easy as installing Solaris or other
commercial applications. The complete list of tools packed on this
disc is to long to post. Here is a small selection:
* Andrew Toolkit (sparc only)
* GNU stuff: gcc 2.6.3, emacs 19.29, binutils, bash, ...
* PERL 5.0.1
* TCL/TK
* TeX, LaTeX(2.09,2e), Metafont, BibTeX, ...
* WWW stuff: daemons, converters, tools, ...
* X11 Release 6, (XFree 3.1.1 for x86)
* XEmacs 19.13 (sparc only, Xemacs 19.12 for x86)
* zsh 2.5.03, tcsh
* and more then 150 other packages
