Hi,
Here is a possible explanation:
Someone - lets call him mister X - is trying to get an anonymous
alias under somebody else name.
Mr. X got a few names and email addresses from the Linus Israel
mailing list and he is trying to use it. His problem is the
anonymous server send a verification request to the supplied email
address before it approve the anonymous alias, so Mr. X is trying.
