X and MS-Windoze are two completely different things. You can't even 
compare them. The first is a display standard (sophisticated as it 
may be), the second is an OS (of sorts).


Just BTW:

Yes.

AND:

there are several X terminal emulators for Win (3.1, 95, NT) and even 
for DOS, to my knowledge, however, no one has made an X server for 
these platforms.
