Re: Disk partition problem

Hi All!

I have a few words to say on this, and then a question:

Simply put, I have actually created 2 primary + 2 extended partitions using
Linux fdisk. Inside each extended, I created 2 more partitions and had a
structure like this:

/dev/sda1	Linux /
/dev/sda2	DOS C:\
/dev/sda3	Extended
	/dev/sda5	swap
	/dev/sda6	DOS D:\
/dev/sda4	Extended
	/dev/sda7	Linux /usr
	/dev/sda8	Linux /home/users

Linux had no problem with that at all. DOS didn't mind as long as D: remained
inside the first extended, and DOS Fdisk would not list anything in the other
extended partitions...

My question is this: Ira said:

> /dev/hda9	Linux swap
> /dev/hda3	Linux swap or some boot manager (OS/2?)
> /dev/hda4	Linux boot

How do you make more than 4 partitions in a single extended?
