Netscape, IRC, stuff.

Hello.

I've been readin this mailing list for quite some time now, so it is time
for me to ask something. Few things, actually:

1. Is there an FTP client that has a resume capability for Linux? (either
shell or X). CuteFTP does that for Windows, and I really need this kind
of thing.
2. Pine - can I tell it *NOT* to use "root@hexagon.org"? I want both
local mail (thus hexagon.org is required), and SMTP mail (that should be
returned to "nimrodz@ibm.net"). As far as I recall, I'll have to
recompile Pine, and given I don't have the sources I don't really feel
like doing so. Any other options?
3. Using a combination of sendmail and popclient I've managed to
establish a rather stable mailflow scheme. Should I bother to check other
software around, or are these two enough?
4. Netscape only uses 16 (or 64) colors in my X. I don't like that. X in
general handles 256 colors quite fine. Is it supposed to be that way?
5. And on the same note, Netscape has stucked few times today, forcing me
to shut it down (taking FTP transfers with it - hence the need for a
resume capability). I believe it stucks when resolving a domain name,
although I'm not certain. Is this supposed bug known? (I'm using the
newest version, 3.0).

FAQs and other documents have been browsed in. Yahoo, Lycos, AltaVista
and Excite have been searched. All of the above questions are ones I've
tried answering for myself, and failed. Please - help.

My e-mail address is nimrodz@ibm.net (or zimerman@POBoxes.com).
hexagon.org is not a registered domain - it shouldn't on domain name
servers. Don't look it up... ;-)
I'm using a SLIP connection (dip).

Thanks,
Nimrod.
