WHY? It's been doing fine up until now. The israeli industry is on a very
high level, but the people on the street and in the offices are very
conservative about wierd OSs. Most of them won't touch a non-hebrew
version of Windows. "professionals" want to play around with Novell. We
are not working with a very large or interested market.

we can do that anyway, what's the point in an Amuta?
it's like running a business, pay AGRA, show financial report, have a
VAAD, have a critics group, hire a lawyer... we are talking about a couple
of thousads just for starting up the thing, in money and working hours,
and what for? a show a year? organizing a member's lecture at a
conference?
There is not one thing we are doing today that's worth all this bother.
Sorry. That's exactly why we need a commercial body to become our "legal
front" for various projects, but that's 3 or 4 times at the most in the
forseeable future, and that's why I see no point in an Amuta.
