I'll bet on "much faster" :-)
the 512k onboard L2 cache models are indeed expensive, but the regular
256k models cost the same as Pentiums right now ($20 difference). the only
thing that's more expensive is the board ($150-$200 more) and the fact you
will probably have to use DIMMs instead of SIMMs. I think it's worth the
difference for your uses...
