Make sure though, he agrees to save his work every 5 minutes or so (and rerun 
xwpe the very same number of minutes) :-(

IMHO, xwpe isn't the best utility to appeal a tender DOS soul to the rude Unix
world :) , except he would enjoy debugging xwpe under xwpe.

If emacs sounds horribly, install for him nedit & ddd. That's the way I've
fooled former users of MS F32 workbench :)
