Erm. First thing that comes to mind is "Ouch". I don't know if I'd bother
installing Linux off floppies. I'd advise you to either borrow a CDROM
from somewhere for the installation, or find a computer with a CDROM and
connect your HDD there. Or somehow get all the Linux Installation on your
HDD and install from there, but I don't think you'd like DLing, what 80
megs?... Hmmm. And I wouldn't run X on a 386 with 8megs. How about an
upgrade?... (-:
