Dunno about 2.1.1, but 2.0 had very interesting "feature": even if you're just
sitting around and enjoying its nice GUI, it took 1 running process CPU time!
So, maximum performance you could get with DX2-66 was that of DX-33. Is the new
version that-bug-free?
BTW, a friend of mine, who is working with Matlab very intensively, says that
octave is MUCH more Matlab-compatible.
