Linuxes versions

I don't think anyone knows what all the differences are.  The
differences between the distributions are basically:

   -Which kernel(s) are included.
   -Which programs are included.
   -How the programs are packaged.

The newest kernel is something like 1.1.10 or so.  I'm running v .99
pl 14 & haven't gotten around to upgrading yet.
