Windows use the logical hebrew system, while linux uses the visual system.
its all in the hebrew how-to.
and the diffrence is (as you found out) in the direction.
if you'll use special hebrew fonts for windows (found in
www.snunit.k12.il) as the eudora font, this problem should be solved
