A. this is only the preview version I am using here, the newone may come
with a newer RedHat
B. redhat's jewl in the crown is the installation database, which lets
you install and deinstall individual files and packadges, so you could
always install a RedHat, and then add an older software pack.
Caldera gives you the desktop and the Netware connectivity, the upcoming
versions will give also Caldera's port of WordPerfect, OpenDoc support
and much more.

Slackware contains more fun stuff, worktation stuff, which is totally
different from the RedHat server concept. Both lack a lot, but Red Hat
seems more prfoessional, and you can run Slackware's 'setup' on it, to
add packadges afterwords.
if anyone is curious by now, there should be some dcreen shots of the
Caldera desktop and a rundown of their portings at their site.
