Could be done as a last resort. If needed, 150 NIS are coming from me (more
if desperately needed).

Like Evgeny, I support 31, unless it costs more or we aren't able to get
a spot there, of course. It would be more in the center of things and will
be nice competition.

Let's start thinking about SMP - if anyone can get a dual-pentium board
to show off, it would be great.

Ideas to show:

Caldera
SAMBA (a must).
Novell connectivity (both Caldera and ncpfs)
Linux as router/firewall (ISDN/modem)
Linux as inet server (all the various inet servers)
Station for home use display (the games proposal sounds good)

This time, we have to be able to sell things. Ira's initiative is very
good. I'll talk with SSC about some Linux Journals and books (maybe even
t-shirts). If you know anyone who sells Linux material and think they might
allow us to sell their stuff at the show, please contact them and post
the results on this list.

I just want to say that it's very important we meet and in the nearest
future possible. If you can get a room, PLEASE mail Erez. If we don't
find a room, I can always get one here in Jerusalem, although according
to our last experience, less people came. So this is a last resort ditch.

Since we have organized rather late, please personally inform any Linux-IL
member that may not know what's happening (not reading the list regularly)
and send mail to people so not only the people who constantly read this
list know about the show.

Please send in your meeting time requests. Up to now Wednesday 16:30 has
been proposed and is the most reasonable in my opinion. Send me mail
(personally) about when you prefer it to be. I'll try coordinating the best
time (roji@cs.huji.ac.il).
