I didn't say I know the man pages by heart. What I meant is that if I have a
problem with any command, I know where to look for it (man page), and don't
need a book for that. I can use the online versions of the man pages just
fine, thanks.
I'm interested in a book that is more than man pages. Writing a device driver,
for example, takes more than going over some unix system call man pages (and
what pages would you be looking for? you have to know the names).
