Re: Departing from linux-il list
This posting can probably be used as a charter for the list and/or a
deterant for future dealing with this subject. Marc - how about adding an
entry about this discussion to the FAQ?

1. We're not all gurus. I am not sure I qualify as a guru. But there is a
core of 3 to 5 active gurus on the list, that would really have an answer
to any technical question you ask
<A HREF="mailto:fnevgeny@plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il">.
2. The guru/newbie war only related to technical questions, which are not
what this list is for. There are no stupid questions or flames for not
rtfming on discussions regarding AMUTA, meetings, etc.

That this is not the place for technical Q&A. If you want that, goto
comp.os.linux.* or the various mailing lists. You can even contact
software developers with problems in their software.
Again, for those (I won't say hard of hearing, Omer) who need things said
several times:
* Linux disks/books vendors/prices in Israel ;
* Meetings and legal status of this group ;
* Questions regarding Hebrew on Linux ;
* Anything else which requiers an *Israeli* forum :
linux-il@linux.org.il
* Anything else :
http://www.linux.org.il/
http://www.cs.huji.ac.il/papers/mdw/
comp.os.linux.*
Linux mailing lists
Software developers and maintainers
If you do decide to send them to linux-il, expect unexpectable results
(people ignore you, you get flames, or... an answer)
