Linux and Sound Blaster Discovery CD16

Hi Everyone !

	I have acquired a Sound Blaster Discovery CD16 multi-media
kit. It includes a Creative CD220E CD-ROM and a SOUND BLASTER 16 sound
card. Now, the HOWTO says the SOUND BLASTER 16 is supported, so I
don't expect any problem there. On the other hand, I'm a little
worried about the CD. The HOWTO mentions support for Creative Lab
models CR-521, CR-522, CR-523, CR-562, CR-563, but not CD220E. It also
says there is support for the SoundBlaster/16 sound card interface,
but I couldn't get it to work (under DOS) using the sound card
interface, so I connected the CD to the I/O board (with the hard disk).
Everything seems to work fine under DOS. My question, of course, will
it work under Linux. Also, if it will work, which kernel options /
patche do I need ?

	Thanks in advance.
