I am sorry, I've spoken for, at least informally, by my girlfriend.

Ok, a first serious proposal. Good. I prefer fillet to sirloin, but that
is a fancy.

HOWEVER, and Tuvik rightly puts it, meat is anything but cheap and we
need to buy not a small amount. Therefore, all people intending to come
MUST STATE SO. A pecuniary contribution is not amiss. Assuming 400gm
steak/person, that's about 30NIS/person just for meat.

So, proposed menu:

  1. Entree - <undecided>.
  2. Main - steak in <undecided sauce> with <undecided>.
  3. Dessert - Apple pie, crumpets, or <undecided>.

Wines:

  1. One bottle of Merlot '92. [Tuvik, you're fucking insane to waste it
on us, but who am I to complain].
  2. Latrun Pinot Noir. [Too acidic in my opinion].
  3. Dessert wine <undecided>.

Menu proposals:

  1. Entree - french toast with foie gras, feta cheese and three drops of
desert wine, lightly baked in an oven. [foie gras may be
replaced, detrimentally, with chicken liver slices].
  2. Steak sauce - sour cream and mushroom OR mustard sauce OR green
                   peppers in mustard.

Proposals from Ira and co' would be welcome.
