Linux BBS in Israel
Hi.
As I've already said, the Israeli Linux BBS support site is ready
and operating, and will soon be advertising its existence.
In any case, there are a couple things of interest:
1. I have upgraded the Linux version available. The entire Slackware
2.1 is available, from the InfoMagic Dec 94' edition.
2. All the files are free (no download limits or stuff like that).
Now for the more important part:
I have had very little feedback from you guys. I think it's
a very good idea to allow people who are NOT on Internet to have
access to Linux. In fact, those who have Internet access can, at the
worst case, download Linux from technion, or even sunsite.
In short, I think it's a very important thing.
What I'd like to have, are some ideas, suggestions, questions, etc.
and also documents. I'm planning on not only having Slackware available,
but a full area explaining Linux, it's purposes, installation guides, etc.
So please do whatever you can. You can call and see what's it all about
at 02-435-176.
You can reach me at rojan@shum.cc.huji.ac.il or roji@cs.huji.ac.il
Thanks for your support,
Shay Rojansky
