Modem: Class 1 or 2

These define the interface between the computer and a fax modem.  For
a class 1 fax, the computer has to do alot of the timing on its own
(i.e. - extremely cpu intensive, and hard to get to work in a
multi-tasking environment).  For a class 2 fax, there's a higher level
interface that's much less demanding on the computer (i.e. - not cpu
intensive, and easy to use in a multi-tasking environment).
