Re - whether to go to 2.1 - probably not



For the guy who asked whether he should move to 2.1.  If you are
asking, and you intend to use only stable kernels (like me, I leave
the adventures to those who have the time to compile a kernel twice a
day), then maybe the following phrase from the kernel changes summery
will help make a decision:

README (173 lines):
    Linux version 2.1 is a DEVELOPMENT kernel!

I think you better stay away from this kernel, at least as a
"production kernel".
