will it now turn into a 'who is a better provider' quarrel ?
before you make those suggestions, check with these companies, if they
are going to be in COMPUTAX (by the way - where is it taking place? and
when ? i'm not really updated about this issue).

another by the way - did you have experience with hooking up a linux
SLIP/PPP connection to any of the other providers ? (i know that some
people do, i just want to make sure).

as for the CDROMs coping, bale this out, since you may not just copy and
redistribute a linux distribution, unless you want to do something illegal.

more over - not everyone has CDROM machines. it'll be usefull to keep a
copy of the distribution on a linux machine, and using Limor schweitzer
(how do you spell your name)'s suggestion, allow people to copy the
distribution by a PC-to-PC direct connection (NOT ethernet! has to be
some serial/parallel link to make it easy, or via an external hard drive,
to make it fast).

about making another linux-il meeting, do a favour, and place it in tel
aviv this time. i believe we could use a friday in a few weeks from now
(lets say, friday of 4 weeks from now ?) for a meeting, and could try
asking the tel-aviv university folks to lend a room for that (i can try
to check what are the usual arrangments they have for such requests).

as for a BBS: what about Shay's BBS in jerusalem ? i understood it's
allready working, so shay, could you fill us in about it (how much it was
accessed, did you get a lot of requests for help in installing the files,
etc.) if you want to distribute linux more - go to the BBS-using society,
by asking some of the large BBS handlers to set up a section for Linux.
otherwise, it's hard to get it widespread.

as for shirts: 30 NIS for a shirt is a VERY expensive price. we've made
such shirts for our company, and last week i witnessed selling such a
shirt for 20 NIS to some person (it was out of a 300 shirts creating),
and perhaps something even cheaper could be found.
