Re: Installing Win95 on existing Dos/Linux box

Harvest,

Win95 is writing to the MBR on setup, this will kill lilo.

You will have to boot after setup Win95 from BootDisk or loadlin in order
to load linux, then run liloconfig, and setup lilo again, lilo don't have
any problems to support Windoze 95.

Asaf.

Hi,
Currently LILO loads DOS for me from the DOS/Win3.11 disk
partition. I plan to install Win95 on that partition (replacing
the DOS/Win3.11 stuff). Will LILO continue supporting both
boots (i.e. the new Win95 and Linux) as before ?
Thanks Zachi
