In fact, it's possible (and probably better in the aspect of simplicity) to
bring here only one box, install all stuff on it and later reinstall all in
Ganei haTaarocha throuh local ethernet we'll have there (won't we?) or maybe
just NFS-mount the corresponding volumes.
About tape installation: I have here QIC-80 drive, but no spare tape presently
(being on the eve of HD upgrade). Another problem is that when downloading
dozens applications already installed, there is always probability (==100%) to
forget about some resource or help file or whatever. And it's slow. And all this
holds iff we have tape drive in the expo...
BTW, I suppose boxes intended for expo have the latest libs?! libc-4.6.27,
XFree3.1.1? Owners of the computers, check it out and upgrade if not! Here is
partial output of my ldconfig -v:

There is Linux-Security mailing list, maintained by Olaf Kirch and Jeff Uphoff
and Linux Security FAQ by Alexander Yuriev. It's not worth to do the same job
twice. The last alert, sent also to c.o.l.announce and distributed by AUSCERT
(former SERT) too, concerned wu-ftpd huge security hole. If your host is running
wu-ftpd, disable it immediately and read these docs!

So, will we have ethernet connection there?!
Though there shouldn't be a problem connecting by PPP via serial line...
