installing packages in RedHat
Installing RedHat was really quite easy - in fact easier than the
Slackware I installed on another computer a few months ago. But I
have what I hope is not too stupid a question.
I installed only a bare minimum of utilities, and didn't install X
yet. The installation program is very easy to use. But now, to add
more packages that I didn't yet install, is it possible to use the
installation program again or do I have to boot from the installation
diskettes ? Yes, I know about RPM and read the HOWTO, but although
I'm sure I could use it to do the rest of the installation, it seems
it would be much easier to use the install software's front end to
get the job done. I agree that moving to LINUX means I won't always
have **pretty** and **friendly** software to work with, but in this
case, since it does exist, why not use it ???
