Getting there
Instructions about getting to the meeting - print and keep handy.
The meeting will be at Leyada's Music room. All leyada alumni are exempt from
the rest of this message.
>From the Tel-Aviv Highway:
1. Enter Jerusalem. Turn right after you pass two gas stations on your left,
- into Herzel Blvd.
2. You will see the Sonesta hotel - it now has a big sign saying "The World's
Friendlyest Hotels" - to your left. Turn left in the junction before it - it's
the first left turn you can make once you are on Herzl Blvd.
3. Take the second right. You will see Rabin's office ahead to your left, after
passing a bunch of hotels. You may also notice the central bank and the
demonstration hill to your left.
4. Follow the road into the university - this will involve taking a right turn
after about 50 meters (this is how the road continues). Find a place to park.
5. The school is a low building on the right side of the road you came from -
you'll see a parking lot to your left. This is where you have to go (by car, if
you can, or by foot - if not).
6. Enter the school, go forward (fd 20 meters) and descend the stairs. Take a
right at the bottom of the stairs, and keep going along the long wall untill
there are two openings to your right - go down the stairs in the second one.
You're there.
7. If you come early, we may be at the library - that's behind the first set of
stairs. Enter (don't be afraid, the librarians don't REALLY bite).
If you're coming by bus - get to the central bus-station, or to binyaney hauma.
Take the 28 bus to the university - that would be at the central bus station's
side of the road, down near the shekem. Go off the bus at the final stop (28)
or at the entrance to the university (you can follow the landmarks to know
where) (if you're taking a 28 aleph). Join those coming by carstuck at stage
#5.
Being a programmer does get to you, doesn't it?
