matlab for linux
All,
I just spoke with Baruch Pekelman (I think the spelling is right) and as
you know there is matlab for linux. The thing is this, it is single user
only, and the symbolic toolbox is not available for linux yet.
The pricing is as follows (by mouth from Baruch):
Basic system $595, EACH toolbox: $245.
NOW: if 10 people get it, then the price for 10 is $2000, and if there are alot
of people who want it, the price for 20 is $3500 ....this is $75 for each.
As far as I know, you need to be able to run ELF binaries. If there is
interest, I can send the letter that I have from Baruch and the official
announcement from the mathworks latest monthly newsletter that I just
got.
If you are interested, send me some indication -- I think the group buying
solution is the best.
Regards,
Jeff
