Why not cp tcsh to /bin - and get the discussion over with! I think cp is
a UNIX standard.
* Shell script work with whatever shell is in their first line if they
have one
* No harm can be done by using either of these shells for root
* You can set up two accounts with 0:0 in the pwd file if you really want
one with /bin/bash and one with /BIN/tcsh
* use what you like.
I use tcsh, and the only thing that bothers me is that I don't get the
hash sign (#) when I su to root, so I always use 'su -' and set a
different prompt in /root/.cshrc - no problem. I'm just used to it like this.
