anyone mange to get cern httpd 3.0 running on linux ? ( never tried )
if so given some disk space pre-caching some pages can do wonders for
speed on a saturated connection ...
(using the httpd in caching mode of course - maybe even a local little
home page with pointers to "intersing sites" ?)
