Well, the way I see it, a "no" vote means: "I don't think an Amuta is a
good idea OR I think the Amuta is a good idea byt..."
In short - part of the whole idea of voting is counting the number of
people who would like to join such a venture, therefor a "No" vote is
important - it says to us "Group A ;-)" that x people out of n people
voted will help us. ?When you just don't vote we can't tell if that is
because you don't like the idea of an amuta, or just not interested in
helping or you just didnt read your mail for two weeks... ;-)

I agree with you about one thing - You don't have ANY obligation what so
ever to this list, the (yet un born) Amuta nor any other body on the face
of this earth to help promote Linux. All that I was saying is two things:

a. I would very much like to see you help us.
b. It could be a lot of fun.

My only goal in the second part of the post is to try to "convert" you - I
just thought a man that who spent the time writing the post you wrote and
doing it the way you did would be an welcomed additoon to "Group A" ;-) I
did not ment to say EVERYONE should be in group A - just that i would
would be happy, if YOU did.

Well, i guess i failed ;-)

Well, I am far as can be from trying to "preach" you to sign up for the
army after I escaped from that myself ;-)
The difference between your story and Linux is that promoting Linux is no
more then a hobby, not a full time job like soldering. You can promote
linux and still go on with what ever is it your doing in your life - now
thats no that bad is it? ;-)

For Whatever reason, your act is exectly the kind of thing we need. Kudos!
;-)

Nor am I, and for a similar reason. I just think by giving the people a
choise we will get the Big Ones to make better products, thats all.
A little cometition never hurts... and beside of that I really dont see
why computer software should cost THAT much like it does. I sometime have
a feeling we are paying for the glossy manuals and cool ads in MTV and
the nice cartoon box more then we pay for the development itself.

BTW guys - what about the instalation party(ies)?!?!?!?!?!
