As an owner of a 17" CTX monitor (1785GM) and as someone who has 4-5 other 17"
CTX monitors at work, I think I'm qualified to discuss them.

This is the case of English -> Hebrew -> English translation!
It's actually, Five Exits, (i.e. 5 Exists).

Anyway, my experience with the CTX 1785 is OK. The monitors work fine (0.26mm
pitch). Most of our monitors (including my monitor at home) are using
ARK/Cirrus cards. One is attached to a Matrox Millenium card, and it currently
runs at 1280x1024 @75Hz. I don't remember if the monitor supports higher
rates, but it's ridiculous for that screen size.
The display quality is WAAAYY better than the junk ProView monitors (we have
one or two of these as well).

Anyhow, the monitors works fine, except mine which had a problem of losing all
it's digital modes once a month or so. I then need to realign all the
different screen sizes. The monitor was onece at 5 Exists, but apparently the
problem wasn't fixed (it's hard to tell immediately if it's OK or not, since
thir problem occures once every few weeks).

As far as I can the other 5 monitors at work are OK.

If you want to hook your monitor to more than one machine, get the GM or GMe
models, which has both BNC and VGA inputs. Then, with a VGA->BNC cable you can
hook two machines, and switch betwen them using a single button. It also auto
switches when one sourse is turned off.

well, this is way out of topic for the list...
