We're currently running cern httpd on linux. I would be a breaze to install - 
10 minutes compilation, and 5 minutes configuration (or less). It is also
fairly decent with how much it loads the system. As I wouldn't be able to
come tonight - I have put a ready box (not cern's distribution, but my own)
which compiles right out of the box with no aditional problems. You can
find it at ftp://ftp.huji/users/reln/cern.tgz

(You, of course, need to configure it properly - if you have any trouble,
I will be there on tuesday (I hope)). Just type make!
