Re: InfoTech report

First acomment - are you using a WINDOZE editor by any chance to wirte this
mail? I see all sorts of =20 and =E5 in your message and signature ;>

> Sun
> SGI

And? What else? Maybe OS/2, if you say it was represented in the IBM booth
(which was highly internet-centered).

> Only Linux wasn't there !!!! - Black point to us all !

That's not true. Who can think of 5 UNIX flavors not mentioned?
Who can think of less-popular OSs for the PC who aren't listed?

Yes, and that is EXACTLY why we shouldn't have joined. Besides Eli's Netscape
beta, which got me to say WOW and to try to bother him for the next 2 hours,
I have seen no new idea there, no innovation, no nothing. There were few
companies there in all, and the physical infrastructure sucked - so I left
the show disappointed.

This relates to us in that I beleive that we better save our money and
our time for better shows - the show we were on was twice as large (and
imho twice as success) as this one. This show was more expensive and
less days than the last one, which adds a black point to it's score.

I suppose that no one had the ambition and the spirit to push it forward.
I don't know why other people didn't (and this is no flame) but Shay and
I didn't because we were busy and we organised the last meeting (which is
not to say that imo other people should have - I don't think it was worth
it this time).
