Re: Meeting + administrativia

Mailing list operators: I have the line "Reply-to: legolas@nether.net"
inserted automagically in the beginning of every outgoing mail, but in
this list it's replaced with the from address, which is replaced with
linux-il address. Could you the list admins just put the linux-il
address in the reply-to line and leave the from line as the original
reply-to line, if it exists, or otherwise leave the from line
unchanged, as it's done in some other mailing lists? Thx.

Hey Roji (this thursday I tried to catch you (by the phone) too much
time ;)

Well, another issue that I (personally) would like to discuss is the
distributions. If you'd like to hear about Debian, mail me (at
legolas@nether.net and not the address above). Some people tell good
things about the Debian GNU/Linux, as they call it, but it's not ideal
-- for example, fortune(6) is a.out ;) Also, the default pager of
man(1) is more, not less... And some other things. I'd like to hear
something about RedHat, Jurix/S.u.S.E. (have anyone heard about it
or actually tried it?), minilinux and maybe something less-known...

And a question to you, sysadmins of another Unices: do another Unices
also have such `distributions' and systems of packages, or must it be
updated manually?
