She's absolutly right, Roji, that's how AMUTOT work, and that's how ILA
and all it's connected IGUDIM work. I think a yearly fee of about 50-80
NIS is reasonable. Nobody is forced, and no one is kicked out for not
paying, as well as noone is forced to pay anything just for joining the
list.
Just keep in mind, ye who won't pay, that when we fly torvalds over for a
mecture set, you'll pay full price for the entrence :-)
Seriously: yes, I know it is a problem/Oxymoron/paradox/whatever, but it
WILL serve us to cover the basic costs of our get togethers, used as loss
fill-in etc.
Personally I think that it should be on a "sugested fee" basis, like
London museums, noone HAS to pay, but anyone can chip in, and for as much
as he wants. I hope we can all trust eachother. Otherwise I don't see how
we can raise more that 1000 NIS a year, which are a joke.
all these and more are reasons for a sit-down discussion in a big forum
instead of an Email vote. that's why I vote a blank note on the Amuta,
Shay, until we have a meeting first, as BIG as possible, as soon as
possible.
