Re: mail over ppp



all I do is set the .forward file at work to my home address, which 
is the one your getting this mail from (have a look).  
The network sees me as just another workstation with an ip 
address.  But it's better than that, cause I depend very little
on the wizardry of Solaris, and I get to be root when I wanna.

when mail comes to my machine's address, it just sits (somewhere)
till I log in, then it all comes down in a heap.  Don't have
to do a thing to make it happen.

Now if I could just figure out how to set a couple mail tools to 
read mail from the various address I have out there (so I don't 
have to log in to those places or reroute the mail from them), 
I would be truly happy.  

without linux I think I'd have had to give up computing a long
time ago.  Bravo to Linus et al.
