I WAS specific, the problem is that you concentrate on flaming instead
of stopping to think WHY I'm sending an NT PPP question on a Linux
mailing list.
And to the problem itself - I simply don't know what's the protocol
expected by the NT right after the connect except that a PAP
authentication works and PPP is up and running (I'm sending this
message through this NT machine).
It looks like the available documentation simply expects people to
connect only from other MS boxes, where this is known by the bugware
allready.
PS echo is a nice thing for Disco's, but not for mailing lists. Since
you should know I'm on the mailing list I'm puzzled as to why you
insist on sending me the message both in private and over the list.
