hebpine for linux ?!
Hi,
As a novice Linux user, I have two questions:
1. I know there is a patched version of pine, with hebrew support. Has anyone
ported it to Linux? If the answer is negative, perhaps somebody knows where I
can get a FULL copy of the original package. The one I have doesn't include the
documentation on porting pine, which should be part of the package.
2. I'm just curious - is there no local (i.e. .ac.il or .il) mirror of
slackware? I know there was one in HUJI, but it seems the address I have is not
valid any more (and the mirror site was outdated anyhow). I just finished DL
the full slackware 3.0 package from src.doc.ic.ac.uk, and I can tell you it's a
tedious task! It would be nice to have a local mirror...
(If there's none currently, I may be able to persuade the Sys-Admin of the
machine where I put the stuff to open it to anonymous ftp)
Thanks in advance for any reply, hint or comment,
Tuvik
