I will say only this, Ariel - you are right, we (and I among us and
should, therefore be flamed as hard as any) forgot the purpose of
Linux-IL. However, and I suspect many people, even some of my most tender
haters, will agree that the issues mentioned below:

> * Linux disks/books vendors/prices in Israel ;

> * Questions regarding Hebrew on Linux ;
> * Anything else which requiers an *Israeli* forum:

hold precious little interest to a number of people. Among them are
myself and some others. Now, I am certain that within the limits of the
list, should these be enforced, my and many other posts have no place.
Who is willing to moderate? You? Me? Ira? Amos?

Will many of the technically competent people stay on the list were the
issues listed above the sole issues? I suspect not. I, for one, don't
give an overused fart about Hebrew support, the legal status of this
group has been clarified - the isn't and will not be a legal status.
Linux vendors in Israel is a moot question - many order things from
abroad, some buy from Ira, some from other shops.

I suspect the most immediate raison d'etre for the list is to give the
local people, Israelis, access to a number of likewise local people with
knowledge and ability... I could be wrong.
