Where are the HOWTO's on Slackware?
Hi,
Someone who got Slackware installed on his computer at the party just
asked me over the phone some questions about PPP setup. I tried to
forward him to the HOWTO's (since I don't know Slackware enough to
start configuring PPP over the phone, and I don't remember HUJI's
modem numbers anyway) but he couldn't find them on his disk (I hoped
they would be under /usr/doc, like Debian, but they weren't there).
Can anyone tell me where are the HOWTO's in Slackware? I haven't used
it for ages (feels like I haven't missed anything :-) and don't know
its current setup. Does it adhere to the FSSTND?
Also, are there any comments specific for Slackware beyond what's
writen in the HOWTO's? (like more up-to-date software versions?
Special/peculiar file names and directories?)
Cheers,
