new kernel and more




just got a call from People and computers, the next Infotech is in
March... will get more details later if you want me to update.

new 2.1.18 is out... correct me if I'm wrong but most of the fixes are not
for the 386 now, should I dare and use it on my server?

     Updated file system buffer cache functions - removed a lot of
unecessary code and simplified things now that the buffer cache isn't the
primary
     cache. 
     Improved module initialization on all File System Drivers.
