Re: Linux-IL FAQ Question
In essence, Marc is asking for our opinions about contemplated escalation
to super-Marcing level.
My opinion:
Do compile a list of the clueless newbies' questions. Do include them in
an appropriate section in the FAQ. Do Marc the questions by means of
ridiculing comments and pointers to the appropriate -HOWTO documents.
BUT:
Do NOT include the names of the clueless newbies.
Also, someone should double-check the greeting message which is sent to new
subscribers to Linux-IL and ensure that it points the newbie at the Web
site and at E-mail addresses of those volunteers who agreed to pick up the
burden of answering stupid newbie questions (like the ones Omer asked
Harvey during his first days in the World of Linux).
