Be prepared to be flirted at (or even sexually harassed by) Marc.

We answered you. I am not sure you understood the answer. The answer is
simple: Linux-IL is not the place for newbie questions. Several
Linux-IL subscribers are not newbies and do not want to waste their time
on newbie questions.

I have a constructive suggestion:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Let some people volunteer to handle newbie questions, and have Marc
advertise their E-mail addresses in the Linux-IL FAQ. Then have the
newbies send their newbie questions only to one of the volunteers (the
one who lives nearest to them).

(I still remember the help, which I got from Harvey Stein when I was Linux
newbie.)

I hereby volunteer to help newbies in the Petah Tikva area (bear in
mind that if the help is on behalf of a business or an organization,
I may charge consultation fee, to be negotiated). My E-mail address for
requests for help: omerz@actcom.co.il

To prevent obsolete E-mail addresses from continuing to bother people, the
FAQ should contain also an expiration date for each E-mail address - if
Marc enters my information, I am requesting that he writes that it is
valid only until 31 Dec 1996 (at which date he'll update the FAQ to write
a later date if I decide to continue to volunteer to help newbies).
