Well,
after fiddling witth it a bit I guess the community
might enjoy lesons learned:
1. There is a small problem getting the authorisation right for
the slave machines. The xnull software which comes with the package
didn't compile (guess it miss an X lib) so to overcome there is need
to write an /etc/X0.hosts file .
2. Although the docs say no window manager should be run on slaves,
it seems it didn't affect it one bit. (thinking about it now One can
run xhosts if wm work..) - but if the wm screws things up option #1
is still the only solution.
3. All in all a neat piece of software.
4. For the multicast enabled:
wb (lbl whiteboard) seems like a nice tool. It can also dump Xterms
into it's white board, but it is more group oriented.
Cheers folks.
