tex-xet can be compiled on linux (I did it once) and it works.
unfortunatly, I erased this version.

There is a program, supporting Hebrew, for converting output meant
for epson printers to Postscript. It can be compiled on unix and DOS
too. It can be found at:
ftp://ssl.cs.technion.ac.il/pub/Granot,Gili/src/epsonps.tar.Z
The docs explaining what it is are not so good, but it is great for
translating the output of Einstein, Qtext, IriWord and such to Postscript.

I run the HED Hebrew editor under the DOS emulator in Linux.
(I have an old version of both regular and X emulators, since I am
busy lately.)

I tried to compile xhterm under linux. It compiled but does not run quite as
good as on Suns.

I have several Hebrew fonts installed under X in linux, but this is no
big news.

I hope this helps.
