Here is the huji stuff:
noa.huji.ac.il:/tex contains the tex--xet distribution, instructions,
fonts and other stuff. (BTW - /pub there contains pc editors etc.).
/tex/Xhebrew contains X11 fonts and a crummy version of emacs18.58 which
"supports" Hebrew, losing most of its other functionality... Use it at
your own risk as an absolutely last resource.
horizon.huji.ac.il:/pub contains the Hebrew version of pine, including
the Hebrew pico which is a small and nice editor, which is definitely
good enough for simple editing. However - it is not usable as-is with tex
as the files are backwards, and as discussed on Friday, flipping them
will flip the English too. Sigh...
These 2 sites have copies of kermit3.13 w/Hebrew support developed here.
However, kermit3.14 has Hebrew support built in. A beta version exists
for anon.ftp on vms.huji.ac.il:/internet_pc. (this is a VMS machine, so
you have to login as "anonymous", and not as "ftp"!)
Enjoy!
