I have this same setup on my Jurassic Park machine, except that the
first disk is not LBA (shouldn't make any difference). I have gotten
the "LI" problem many times - just run lilo again once or twice and
it goes away. Sounds crazy, right? But it works. In any event, my LILO
from Slackware 2.8 works fine on both primary and logical partitions
on any disk; hda-hdd and also on SCSI disks. I installed a SCSI boot
partition at the Ministry of education.
