Fixing my partiotion table
Thanks for your answer.
What I finally did was:
1. used Linux fdisk to restructure the partition table.
2. Everything was back to normal.
Now, a second question:
I have dos partition on /dev/sda1.
I have ext2 partition on /dev/sda2.
and swap partition on /dev/sda3.
I want to transfor this to the followin state:
a single ext2 partition on /dev/sda1.
partition /dev/sd2, /dev/sda3 deleted.
a swap partition od /dev/sdb2 (new disk).
Making new partition ond /dev/sda2 was a sinch and
transferring the ussage of the swap partition there
was easy. What I still want to do is use /dev/sda1
as a single linux partition instead of three separate partitions
mounted together.
Thanks,
Sam
