Most likey is a bad RAM chip, next comes running out of ram (is swapping
on ? - Mozilla is not called that for nothing). Last but not least is an
exotic or unsupported video card. Mozilla does funny things to the display
to find out what mode it is in or such before it displays. That could
cause what you see. Hope this helps.
