Re: ne2000 configuration
I use NE2000 close, but not Red Hat.
You have 2 options:
1 - RTFM insmod and try insmod ne2
2 - recompile the kernel, when asked about network cards, say you want
'other adapters', and set NE2000 on. Then install the new kernel.
3 - Try to tell LILO where the card is with an entry like eth0=... . RTFM
ifconfig, lilo, lilo.conf.
I assume of course that you HAVE run the setup diskette of the ne2000
card, that PnP mode is OFF and that the jumpers on the card say what you
say the card should be....
