Maybe the linux box is using tcp wrappers & doesn't allow the IBM to
telnet in? Or maybe it is configured to allow it, but doesn't get
sufficient info to verify the machine? The tcp wrappers that came
with redhat 3.0.3 was compiled with -Dparanoid, or some such thing,
and requires being able to verify a host-name<->ip-address
correspondence from 2 separate sources before allowing a connection.
