Re: Sendmail 8.8.6

Thanks for the information but it still has compiling errors
it seems every time i try to fix it the error is some where else
can you point me to a place where i can read how to fix compiling
error's and a better way to understand them in my case most of the
errors are coming from the headers them selfs but in some small
cases the error is in the program it's self as for sendmail
it get's stuck in the domain.o:
  domain.o: In function `getmxrr':
  domain.o(.text+0xab): undefined reference to `res_search'
  domain.o(.text+0xc2): undefined reference to `res_query'
  domain.o(.text+0x219): undefined reference to `__dn_skipname'
  domain.o(.text+0x2c9): undefined reference to `dn_expand'
  domain.o(.text+0x389): undefined reference to `dn_expand'
  domain.o: In function `dns_getcanonname':
  domain.o(.text+0xb42): undefined reference to `res_querydomain'
  domain.o(.text+0xc50): undefined reference to `__dn_skipname'
  domain.o(.text+0xcfe): undefined reference to `dn_expand'
  domain.o(.text+0xe5a): undefined reference to `dn_expand'
  make: *** [sendmail] Error 1
