I have to contest that. I am using 64MB EDO memory, when 2x16MB are EDO,
non-parity @60ns, and the other two are 2x16MB @60ns(non-EDO). They work
just fine, and have no trouble at all with any application, OS, BIOS
function, or anything else. So, maybe it's your borad, who handles a
combination of EDO and non-EDO memory badly, or maybe you mixed them, and
had a bank of two kinds oe memory, like say

or something similar, which indeed will break things.

The only difference there is, except for the doubtfull performance
improvement, is that it's the STANDARD.
