Hi,

I think I read the following in the "mount" or in its related manuals:

The default buffer size used for nfs is 1024, and for better
performance one should be setting this to a higher size such as 8k
(depending on the line used ( I wouldn't recommend that over a modem
line).

So change this option (rsize, wsize) in the mounting command or in
/etc/fstab
