I don't need lessons from you on how to promote Linux. I represented
linux-il in Computax twice and Linux International (i.e. Jon Hall's
organization) at Comdex.
RedHat ARE doing their best and rolling out great products with easy
installations. RedHat 5,0 has quite a few improvements in the GUI too.
Office packages are available from both Applix and Star (and both look
pretty good, I have them both installed).
the way to promote Linux is not to bug Linux companies to improve, but for
others to BUY the software. the more people help companies like RedHat
make money, the more they can develop and promote it. the last place you
need to promote it is in Linux mailing lists.
