Pardon me, but I can see no paths in loadlin. You DID copy the relevant 
files to the root directory before you gave the command, and gave the 
command while in the root directory, yes ? loadlin is not smart enough to 
find the files by itself on the cd...

Ah, and did I mention that you CANNOT use bare if the ramdisk is to be 
taken from the cd, as the ramdisk is loaded by the kernel proper, which 
being bare has no cd support, so... I said, take the idecd or such 
kernel. (I assume you have an ATAPI drive).

Come to think of it, I have never seen loadlin raise a ramdisk-based 
system (I use loadlin myself as I have PnP stuff that wants drivers).
