You're using a proxy. when you stop downloading some proxies will fuck up
and cut the download in the middle. next time you download from the proxy
instead of the remote site, hence the speed increase.

you don't stop it in the middle. You can't cheat the server.

Just a small stupid question - this has to do ... what, exactly, with
