Disappearing diskspace

Well, just my two cents. Whenever you *build* and RPM package, all the
components get installed. This is because, probably, make install
command is done, but nothing gets erased afterwards. I used to do the
following:

build a package
<rpm -i> a package
<rpm -e> a package

...to make sure all stuff gets erased.


Another point - upgrade your rpm to the latest one in the updates
directory on the redhat site

Also, the figures would help. Does disk space mean 5 bytes or 5
megabytes?

Also, some RPMS create the configuration files and not always erase
them...
