I think so... Cookies are (usually) not too harmful, Java can't kill your
files or core, maybe steel some files under extreeme conditions (when you
give it file access but don't know how it uses that right) most Java apps
don't ask for file access permissions so they can't hurt you. Java and
Javascipt CAN have access to your browsers history or see what's going on
in another window, the latest bug discovered describes a situation where
one window runs a JavaScript in a minimized window you might overlook and
transmits the contents of the text fields of the other window (could be an
SSL window linked to a different site!).
after all is said and done, at the end of the day no major hacks have been
recorded o have used those, Java and JS don't exist in Lynx and Cookies
can be avoided at compilation time too... RTFMakefile :)
