Virtual wu-ftpd configuration

Hello,

I want to configure wu-ftpd on my Linux machine to serve
firtual FTP servers, i.e. every user logging on a certain Virtual
Domain should see it's own FTP Server.

I've found different approaches to implement this.
I've checked 2 of them:
  1) As described in
http://www.landfield.com/wu-ftpd/virtual-ftp-faq.html
It says that wu-ftpd already has Virtual FTP support and you just
have to define it in the ftpaccess file.
Unfortunatly it didn't work for me. Anonymous continued to login
to the standard ~ftp account on the machine (and not specific
      for the Virtual Domain).

  2) As described in
ftp://ftp.softhome.net/pub/brian/multihomed-wu-ftpd-2.4-27.README
It has a special patch for multi-homed FTP. So that every user
would be login
to the ~ftp/foo.com, where foo.com is the Virtual Domain he FTPs
to.
Also this one didn't work for me.

Tested with wu-ftpd_2.4-26+multihomed.tar.gz [Dec 19 1996] 148k

Any ideas?
