why not a K6?! for a slightly higher price you get better performance,
larger on-chip cache and P6 opcode compatability...

but NM, the important question is: how do you turn on the UDMA in Linux?
it needs special drivers for windows, I'm sure there's a special option in
the linux kernel too...
