You want your local computer to store the names for _all_ the computers on
the Internet??! BIND doesn't work that way, read some RFCs. 

The purpose of named is to provide name-service for YOUR domain to people
from OUTSIDE. At most, you can set it up to cache DNS data. A standalone
station does not need named running, it just needs an entry in it's
/etc/resolv.conf.

Besides, what do you need to lookup names for when you're not online?
