There might be an excellent solution at the horizon: many programs now
run quite well under Wine. Even some horrendous things such as MS Word6.

It might be the case that Accentsoft/Davka and other such Hebrew
Windows software that do not require Hebrew Windows work already.
If that is not the case, the wine folks might be interested in
including Davka's win3.x applications in their test suite: then they will
have the incentive to write and debug the system calls that Accensoft
software uses [but are not yet implemented] and the tools to verify their
good functionning.

With a bit of good will, you could be there in days or weeks.

Now, Accentsoft does not provide source code and its software is often
sold rather freebeed away, but they do have some such freebees/demos that
will let you test away and get something going.
