web based calendar?
anyone knows some web or even TTY based system for intranets? I need some
15 users to have their calendars available to them online, so they can
check their schedule AND SYNC MEETINGS with others on the same system. it
should not be based on a specific platform, like schedule+ for windows :-)
Netscape are soon going to announce their own system called ical if I
remember correctly, with it's own port number for IANA, just for their
constellation line of products and groupware, I hope a port for linux will
come out too.
oh, btw, I am now reading a very interesting article in BYTE about the
"war" between DCOM and CORBA, the two competing technologies from
microsoft and Netscape. Microsoft apperently gave DOM to the open group a
month or two ago, now they are porting it to anything from MVS through
Intel Linux to any Unix system and Open VMS too.... Linux is starting to
catch the eyes of a lot of MIS managers round the world apperently, BYTE
are mentioning it in many places and articles :-)))
