Now, is it my imagination or Digital seem to actually support the Linux
project? I remember they also contributed workstations for our booth at a
computer show. DEC maintains Digital UNIX, so logic dictates they should
disaprove of a free replacement to it. Or do they want that as many OSes as
possible would be able to run on their machines, and are glad that a
flavour with source compatibility to x86s is developed without any expense
on their part?
