Micro$oft to Blow Us Up

Maybe out of scope, but let's pray that we will not be out of scope
all of us soon :-(

Microsoft uncovered yesterday the new features of Memphis (Windows
97, to be shipped at mid '98) and NT 5.0. Among the dozens of new
features, there are 2 main (according to my opinion):

1. Most of the interface with the computer and the system will be
   done using Explorer 4.0.
2. A full integration with TV will be implemented. It doesn't mean
only that you will be able to watch TV on the PC, but that a TV
tuner is integrated into the OS, and that you will browse
between TV channels and programs, use CATV/satellite and normal
TV broadcasting in parallel with internal support of the OS,
and much more features. HDTV died, long live (Bill) the King!

P.S. If you are going to buy a video-tape, better think twice before!
