How exactly did you try running it?
If you just typed: "./whatever" it won't work unless you have JAVA support
in the kernel. In Linux you can compile JAVA support if you ask for
"experimental" or something like that during the make config.
I have no idea if BSD support JAVA binaries or how to set this up.
However, you can always run the thing by firing up netscape and load one
of the .html files mentioned in the README. In short - RTFM! ;-)
