Sound ( now it works ! )

Hi

well the 'hdparm -u 1 /dev/hda' solved my problem, thanks Matan
Ziv-Av.
( 486DX2/66 with 8MB of ram can still do things )
no FS coruption ( at least 'e2fsck -f /dev/hda3' didnt find anything )
on my IBM3.2GB HD, even when
running at full load ( somthing like 'startx & find / & wavrec -S -s
44100 -t400 -b 16 myfile.wav' )

using hdparm caused the kernel to identify and notify me when there is
a 'sound ovveride', this didn't happan before.

so thank you all for your advices.

Erez.
