Just in case: For slackware use the net.i and text.gz files for EIDE
installation over net. I exported /cdrom on the server (with SLS CD in it)
and that was that. I choose 'install all' and went out (sets a, ap, n).
Later I installed LILO and that's it. This requires less than 100 MB. One
can add to it as one pleases later, the base is the most crucial point. Of
course you make the partition first. A small swap partition helps, it can
later be moved into a file if the man has only 1 disk (info SWAP-HOWTO).
There is no significant speed loss.
