MS-Office Java?

I was expecting this. As you may know, Corel is already halfway to 
porting their office suite to Java. Wordperfect and Quatro where the most 
popular applications of their kind for a while. Wordperfect is still 
quite popular in the US if I'm not mistaken.
JavaOS (v1.00 has already been released has it not?) promises to fuel new 
life into 486 boxes. The first net computer are hitting the stores, and 
it seems that despite earlier skepticism, they are going to play an 
important role in the future corparate office.
Until now Corel was the only one developing office software for this 
empty nitche. I didn't think MS would stay quiet about it. I, however, 
fully expect them to play some dirty trick such as dividing the software 
into server and client, so that saving/printing files will be possible 
only if the origin of the Java binary is an NT server. Their 
implementation of ActiveX for Unix which will probably go unused comes to 
mind.
