I used S.u.S.E. Linux for about half a year - a year, and when I tried
to update my system to a new distribution (SuSE), using their update
function, and found out that they changed many of the packages names,
only after some of the packages were updated, and dependencies were
all messed up.

I say: go with Debian or RedHat, they both have convenient user interfaces,
and packages with dependencies.
