|you can have mgetty answering with virtually anything, not just the
|system's default "login", right? so just set it to a RADIfied login...

Thanks, but I suspect that's not good enough, since I want to exploit
mgetty's ability to automatically identify PPP traffic.

Hmmm, then I might have to look at a RADIUS-ready pppd?
