sendmail@linux, FOOF bug, IE4 bug, line of the day

Four things:

1) I have been tinkering with sendmail on Linux (at home). I am unable to
make sendmail send mail to a neighboring box. Tonight I will look at the
sources. The problem is, I have sendmail set up as smtp-only. Local
delivery is ok, host name rewriting (rule 96) is ok after some hacking to
prevent hostnames like 'joe' from being domainized. I have named running
and ok. On all machines. Yet sendmail is incapable to resolve mail sent to
a machine. Ex: mail composeed on host <plp> and sent to root@plp2 gets
deferred. Network, name resolution and all known ways of getting names
(gethostbyname, dig etc) work. What the @#$$% is this and have you seen
this happen before ?

2+3) The FOOF bug seems to make the web more interesting since there is a
bug in IE4 that seems to allow aliens to exec code on a man's box when
surfing web sites with paths more than 255 chars long.... Refrences in
www.chip.de and pc online.

4) Line of the day (picked up at pc online web site):
