I've to admit, I'm not very strong in programming, I just tried compiling
something, and it didn't compile for some obscure reason, then I recalled
that I already compiled it under libc.5

That was exactly the point, NOT to upgrade to RedHat 5.0 and stay with old
and proved 4.2 so long. I'm not against progress, I'm just telling that
the code is still fresh and, gm.. alpha.
