You must be reffering to ISO9660, the CD-ROM format?
(another guess - you created it and want to test it before you
burn it? :)
First, you should have the loop device in your kernel (either
compiled in or as an installed module). Then read "man 8 mount"
and look for a section called "THE LOOP DEVICE" (at least under
Debian 1.3.1 with mount 2.6d).
