  You are possibly better off getting a 486/133 with maybe a voltage
regulator if your board does not do 3.3V.
  The next step is to try to try overclock the 486 chip to 150Mhz (3x50)
or 160Mhz (4x40).

  If you decide to buy an AMD 486, insist on an ADZ: they run cool
without a fan/heatsink at normal speeds and sustain overclocking -with
fan/heatsink- better.

  I installed about 15 of these.

  Alternately, if changing the motherboard is an option, consider getting
a cheap Pentium board with one of AMD K5 P-75.  They are very cheap and
you will be able to drop a P-200 when they get cheap.
