I don't remember where I read it, but I specifically remember a comment
which says that the instructions about using cua? for dialing and ttyS?
for dialout are wrong. Here is my current mgetty entry in /etc/inittab:
S1:23:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -x 0 ttyS1
Oh, just found it (under /usr/doc/mgetty/ttyS-cua.txt, part of the Debian
mgetty+sendfax package):
