Did you check that it isn't included in these kernels allready?
What files does it touch? Where did you obtain it from (so I might
look into it)?

No, it's not included in kernel v 2.0, because otherwise I should have been able to eject my CD-ROM while the CD-Drive is mounted. Anyway you can find it at
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/kernel/patches/diskdrives/supermount-0.4a.tar.gz (or http://... for that matter).
