Problem with LILO
Hi.
I have a weird problem with LILO. This is my lilo.conf:
boot = /dev/hda
vga = normal
compact
fix-table
prompt
image = /boot/vmlinuz
label = linux
append = "hdd=cdrom"
root = /dev/hdb3
read-only
other = /dev/hda2
label = dos
table = /dev/hda
other = /dev/hdc1
label = newdos
table = /dev/hdc
And this is what I get when I try to install it:
/root-4-# lilo
Added linux *
Added dos
ide: probable bad entry for /dev/hdc
ide: to fix it, run: /usr/src/linux/scripts/MAKEDEV.ide
Warning: BIOS drive 0x82 may not be accessible

Running the MAKEDEV.ide script didn't do anything good. I have no problems
mounting /dev/hdc1 and using it. The lilo manpage and HOWTO didn't help
any, and in fact they shouldn'd have helped, since it's more likely that
the problem is not related to LILO directly. Anyone can guess what's the
problem?
