it's free entry to the public at large anyway.
the idea is that a bunch of (excuse me) us friers rent a booth there, get
some cool looking Alphas and PCs from Digital with 21" screens, run linux
on them all, show connectivity to Novel, WinNT, NFS, various scientific
apps, games and multimedia, internet services, crazy window managers, and
generally tell the public they don't know what thy're missing, and trying
to make them see the light etc.

if all works well, someone had bought a lot od Linux CDs and we sell
enough of them to cover the cost of the booth, plus each of the people
gets 1000 NIS back and a new apartment in Migdaley David, plus Israel
switches completely to linux, then comes silicon valley, then the US and
the world, Bill escapes to the moon (he can afford it), the western world
stops using paper, the rain forests are saved and we all get laid.

on the other hand, we could get stuck with some spare CD stocks and some
losses, and give up ever doing it again.

the truth last time was somewhere between the two (regretfully, closer to
the latter), I think we should try again... MadDog Hall himself was
impressed with our efforts and I think Digital will be very helpfull,
especially if we ask them in TIME and make sure they cover ALL our costs
this time....

we had those meetings before, this time though I think we'll have more
experiance andmaybe fuck up less.
