No, the drinking age is definitelly 21 in the states.
I'm 16 days away from being 21, and I'm at the atlanta linux convention
right now (i'm writing this from the floor), and they carded (asked for
i.d.) from phil hughes and maddog too!
It was really bizzare, but the incredibly thing was that I had a real beer
with linus and david miller and phil hughes and jim paradise and a whole
bunch of other bigwigs in the linux hierarchy.
I made a pin of bill gates with red LED lights for eyes to wear to comdex
and I gave it to linus yesterday. He looked a little freaked out, but
he's been wearing it. Yup, this has definitely been an incredible week.
I've also made freinds with Eric S Raymond, who has that whole cathedral
and the bazaar thing going.
So now everyone that has come to a linux dinner while I was around is now
at least 2 people away from linus.
Mazel Tov!
