The <partition partition partition> is due to an extended partition, for
example.
hda1 hda2 hda3 hda4 <hda5 hda6>
where hda1 hda2 hda3 are primary partitions and hda4 is an extended
partition, that has hda5 and hda6 as partitions inside it.
