Yes, the next time you buy hardware, first take a look at the Linux
compatibility list.

As for now, if you have a working agreement with a local computer store,
walk in with a large smile on your face and get it swapped for another,
supported card. The owner won't mind if you are an established client. He
will use it in the next winblows machine he configures.

Ah, and did I mention to look at that list before you got to the shop ?
