A friend works/worked in the NT PowerPC team for IBM in Seattle. So he
should know as far as this specific port.
He also told me about SGI dropping its port

For one thing, it is not worth it: NT is going for the enterprise
server market and any common-sensical IT manager will get a dual Pentium
Pro rather than pay more for a faster single processor Alpha.
Add to that that NT software is almost always developped on Intel and
binaries are usually for Intel only.
Finally, the NT Alpha grapevine is quasi non-existent especifically
compared to the Intel garden variety.

  But what did Marc say?
