Without any intent to start flamewars, I'd rather not install KDE to
people on instaparties because they probably often bring their older
computers to try Linux on, and after I concluded that having 32MB RAM
I cannot leave peacefully with KDE so I bought another 32MB, I really
don't think using it on, say, 16MB will be any pleasant or at all
workable.
In order to do rather than talk, I'll work on a usable Window Maker
configuration for the instaparty instead. The default is OK but
doesn't have icons for many things, and yet has some things to
configure before being really usable. I'll create the best
configuration I can and bring a few copies of it on floppies to the
party.
