Re: using pine over remote machine...
Bingo!!
It appears my Pine is already compiled with ALLOW_CHANGING_FROM, now, if
you want to have a fixed From: field, all you have to do is set it in the
"customized-hdrs" option, you don't even have to set
"default-composer-hdrs" i.e. you don't have to see the customized From:
field every time you compose a new message, it's simply there.
For example my customized-hdrs has the following set:
customized-hdrs = From: Ze'ev Maor <gmaor@tx.technion.ac.il>
and it worls for every new message...you can check it by starting
composing, then put the cursor on one of the headers fields and press
<CTRL-R> to see all the headers.
