Debian "hamm" (aka "unstable" currently) is based on libc6/glibc2.
I'm running a few machines with it and it's pretty stable.  I'd
recommand it for production environment as it is today (just think of
the potential, around 1800 packages and counting).

Wouldn't it be easier to click your way to their home page?  It says
that it is based on glibc.
