Blinux CD-ROMs available.
Hi Linux-il people,
as you might now, there is Blinux Project which
supports the Linux user who is blind. The Blinux
FTP archive at http:/ /www.leb.net/pub/blinux is
available on CD-ROMs too.
These two CD-ROMs are an exact mirror of the
Blinux Archive. They hold over 750mb of files
and documentation. The CD-ROMs are written after
an order comes in. Therefore they are always
up to date.
As a special service to Linux-il, I will provide
3 sets of the Blinux CD-ROMs free of charge for
people who might _really_ need them.
If you know someone who is visually impaired and
might be a candidate for the stuff available,
send me his/her address and I will send the CD-ROMs
to the given address. The first three Israeli
addresses will be served. Company addresses are
valid too.
Sorry, but subscriptions which point to the own
email address will be discarded.

How much do the Blinux CD-ROMs cost?
------------------------------------
The complete set (2 pcs) of the Blinux CD-ROMs
cost (yes postage, package and handling is included):
Israel 7 USD
USA: 7 USD
Germany: 10 DM
Europe: 70 Austrian Schillings,
200 Belgian Francs,
4 British Pound
35 French Francs
10000 Italian Lira
World: 7 USD
How to pay?
-----------
Put the money in bank notes in an envelope between a leaf of
paper and send it to me.
My address is:
Hans Zoebelein
c/o blinux cd-rom
Schellingstr. 63
D-80799 Muenchen
Germany
Don't forget to include your email _and_ snail mail address.
I'll email you as soon as money has arrived and the CD-ROM is
shipped to your snail mail address.
Isn't this method of payment to risky/dangerous?
------------------------------------------------
No! So far we had not a single loss of money (I know of).
That means that I didn't get a single complaint so far
about someone sending money without getting the CD-ROMs
shipped.
Please don't send checks, because cashing them in would
cost me more than I charge for the CD-ROMs. Considering
the costs of registered mail, even sending the money as
registered letter seems to be an overkill.
How are Blinux CD-ROMs shipped?
-------------------------------
Blinux CD-ROMs are shipped to non Europe addresses by airmail,
to Europe addresses as normal mail. The CD-ROMs are
put into a stable cardboard envelope without using a jewel box.
This is done to stay below the 50gr weight limit and to pay
less postage costs.
Anything else?
--------------
Yes. The Blinux CD-ROMs have nice white labels which show
a fat black penguin sitting around and doing nothing. So
if you are working 'eyes free' you know this too now.
Enjoy!
