Actually, Oracle dev tools provide you with one generic applet,
wich can execute applications produced with "Developer 2000".
In any case, Java 2.0 (the one wich comes with Swing), vary greatly
from Java 1.1.6 (last bugfix in 1.1, which uses different object 
hierarchy from 1.0). You can see it as waypoints to the production
release, not as releses themself. (my own opinion, not more)
