LUPG - new tutorial and more

hi,

the LUPG (little unix programmers group) site
(http://www.actcom.co.il/~choo/lupg/) has had two additions:

1. a "handling files" tutorial (unix beginners section) - how to
read/write/manipulate files using ANSI-C functions and using Unix
system calls (including a 'file find' and other examples).

2. a "little projects ideas" section, with ideas for learning projects,
that match the various tutorials - from creating a 'config file'
parser, through writing a vt-100 PacMan game, and implementing a tiny
multi-threaded http server. new ideas will be added from time to time.

note that by "an idea", i refer to a goal, as well as a (more or
less) complete design. the beginners exercises have very detailed
designs, while the more advanced exercises have less detailed designs,
to accomodate for the assumed level and experience of the programmer.

as for the multi-process tutorial, it's still in the works - about 90% of
the work is done, and only the semaphores and shared-memory sections are
not done with yet. hopefully it'll be ready during next week. and then -
CORBA is probably next on route... or will that be Xlib programming?

as usual, comments are welcome, and thanks to everyone who read the
tutorials and sent comments, fixes, or "just" encouraging messages.

p.s. someone on www.linux.org.il wants to add a link to this site? i think
it'll be appropriate, and would appreciate that.

enjoy,
guy
