USB Mouse
I've just installed Debian 1.3 on a NEC Direction II 4000. It's a
Pentium machine, and everything sort of went OK (other than the new
Mach64 server it required). The only real problem I've had, and
unfortunately still have, is the mouse. It's one of these nifty
Microsoft Mice (sorry, I know it's MS but it's still nifty). It connects
to a USB port, instead of a regular serial port. It has a middle button
which doubles as a wheel which you can turn and (in Windoze
applications) scrolls the scrollbar without the need to point at it.
Does anyone know of any support for this kind of mouse. So far I've
replaced it with a Logitech serial mouse, but I'd rather use the newer
one if possible.
Thanks,
Yuval
