That's a great argument. Really. The next thing we should do is to ask
each list subscriber to present an official proof in that she doesn't
use and software by Microsoft.

This is plain wrong. You need VC++ (educational edition would do BTW
and it costs about $90) *only* for host-based program testing. To
deploy programs for the Psion, you use "ye goodde ole GCC" which is
free.

Geofox is nice as well, but it is available in Europe only and is
about GBP 470, which is a bit too much...
