Tomahwk + PHP source of www.linux.org.il

Well, the bottom line is that I can't guarantee that I'll have time to
start thinking about a content-management software. Shachar is now
made responsible for an ad-hoc mailing-list and stuff. Please do not bug
him.

I decided that our site PHP source will be made public with:
1. The code itself being BSD or copyleft.
2. The content copyrighted by Shlomi Fish and Omer Mussarev
(www.linux.org.il's co-webmaster)

I'll write some more about this legalo-bubble in the code. It's in awful
shape: I know. Want to write better: you're welcome.

BTW, the site is pre-rendered with PHP. When it is on the site, it's raw
HTML pages. In fact I still use a makefile to generate everything.

PHP is considered a security breach, so I couldn't use it as a server-side
scripting language. (i.e: something ala the (in)-famous Active Server
Pages or ASP), but much better any way you look at it. I use it as what is
known as an HTML generator.

Anyway, my idea is that the source code of www.linux.org.il will be the
basis for iTomahwk, (i.e: interpreted Tomahwak) that will rely almost
entirely on interpreted languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, Tcl/Tk, chpp
and whatever else we may want to use. It will be developed much more
rapidly, but will be less organized. If anyone wishes to contribute any
other source code for this project, he's welcome to put it on an FTP site
or a web page. Do not send to anybody!

Yours Sincerily,

	Shlomi Fish
