Half true.
Netvision dont allow her users to send mail to her users
from within there mailer.
they only allow mailgw.netvision.net.il (netvisions admin correct me if
im worng).

so when you send a mail to them , you probebly get a access deny msg.
so you dont nececery have to change your domain, but , it mast resolve,
and you need to call them and ask then to add you (im not sure about
that ).

now, like Peter said, you MUST set smart host to be mailgw.xx.xx.x

here again, you can use YOUR mail server as the mailserver on netscape,
just be sure it resolve.
i have a domain spice.co.il so i can use it.
never the less ,if you didnt set something with netvision about mail
coming to your domain to get to them ,
you MUST (again:)) use a replay to: fild , or your return mail will
bounce back to the sender.

This is very true indeed, but if you gave your box a host on the domain
you have , sendmail will think it is it's name, something that you dont
want because only the domain is resolving not host.domain, thus you
wouldnt be able to send mail from a shell with the mail command.

Ofcource this is all true only if you have a domain ;)
but the again, like Peter said , you can use netvision.net.il.

enjoy.
