Well, we have 4 ups from ADVICE, and we are sorry for the moment we bought
them. every power break that we have, at least one ups didn'tmake it.

so I look at the good part: now i know how to reinstall from backups
and how to boot a sun from cdrom.

I found no software to support their cable, so i hackedmy own cable, and
hacked some ups driver.

my driver polls the serial port every 10 seconds, and in caseof power fail
or power back, it incokes a script which
has a shutdown command in it,

I needed my driver to support sparc-solaris as well as linux
