Re: Linux as OS course.



Hi

I'm one of the members of this list that is quiet most of the time,
but I've been reading for a long time.

I actually taught a Unix class for awhile, and we used Linux. (Unfortunately,
my material is not a state which I can send to someone else.)

If the only fear regarding Linux is installation at home, why not offer
them an installation party or two? Maybe one right at the begining of
the class, and another a month or so later, for those who didn't think
they'd be ready for it at the begining.
