Well, after fighting my system for a week now, i've managed to install it
succesfully, and i've have come to the conclusion - if you are to install
libs, get another linux machine to experiment it on.....
it's highly recomended that you get the source and compile it yourself,
and that takes about twice the time it takes to compile a kernel.
you can get the source from sunsite.unc.edu/pub/gnu
you'll need the glibc-2.0.6* and libstdc++ and you'll have A LOT to read
before starting.
