OK, this is getting out of hand. As one of the "elders" of this list (5.5
years if memory serves) and a fanatic OSS user/developer, I'm willing to
admit that there are some things I can't do with my Linux box yet, (although
my mail is usually composed using mutt, this message as you can see by
looking at the headers was composed by non other then M$ Outlook Express,
i.e. it doesn't "kill" you). e.g. among my occupations, I translate
technical computer related literacy from english to hebrew for a certain
Israeli company, AFAIK there isn't any truely powerful BIDI WYSIWYG editor
for X yet, so I'm forced to use M$-Word97 (under NT5.0 Beta2.0, got to have
SOME feeling of frontier computing, even under a M$ platform;-).
Another example, I'm employed as an IT manager for a certain high-tech
company, which employs several EE's among other things. These guys are
dependant upon M$ platform completely, including many electrical circuits/RF
design/simulation and analysis tools. These are just two examples of many
many more, So let's stop with this "who's the traitor who dare's using a M$
platform" crap.
