Delivery of RedHat 5.1

Hello all! (this message is sent to all the people who were interested
in ordering the Cheap*Bytes package of RedHat 5.1, and Linux-IL is CC
to this message, since there are many people who are interested too.
Please don't include Linux-IL in your replies, otherwise hundreds will
have to read your private needs etc.)

This message is relevant only for people who ORDERED the package; All
the others, please ignore it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I posted the packages at today's morning. I hope you will receive it
this week. If you will not receive it by next Tuesday, please contact
me.

After you receive the package(s) you ordered, if you have any problem
with the media (defective media or diskette), or anything is missing (I
attached a list of contents), please contact me. I ordered a few extra
CDROMs. There are already people who are interested in these CDROMs,
but I asked them to wait till I'll know your CDROMs are OK.

I forgot to mention it in the information attached to the packages, but
because of security holes, if you are going to connect your system to
the Internet as a server, or allow other people to access the system as
non-privileged users, you MUST go to:
	http://www.redhat.com/support/docs/errata.html
after the installation, and download (+ install according to the
instructions) any patch that is needed for security.
(There are some dangers even when accessing the Internet as a client,
so it may be a good advice to install the patches anyway).

The attached diskettes (boot and supplement) are not the original
RedHat,
but up-to-date, with the new patches. The kernel in these diskettes is
the final 2.0.34 (rather the the pre-patch included with the original
5.1).

Good luck,
