Re: Linux as OS course.



Well, everyone here knows I'm a Linux bigot, but I'm not talking now
from a the "Linux Uber Else" standpoint:

I think that if whatever person that makes that choice prefers a
proprietry OS like NT to an open sourced OS like Linux (or FreeBSD for
that matter) for *TEACHING* OS principles then I'm glad (and even proud)
that TAU kicked my butt a couple of years ago... ;-)

But I don't think they'll do it - even the profs there, which I don't
think too much of, seemed smarter then that... and I know at least some
of them are linux users.
