I don't care about looking the same under each browser. My concern is
about accessibility to information which does not require, by its nature,
specialized software for feeling it (e.g.: image maps which provide
inaccessible links to other information).

If eye MUST be caught, then have some volunteers build a special section
in the Web site - for people who like the looks rather than the
substance. But for the bulk of the Web site, please emphasize
information (and speedy access to information) rather than looks! The
primary audience of the www.linux.org.il Web site are people who are
already committed to Linux and just want some information without having
to waste too much time or be faced with accessibility problems.
