TULK
Hello,
I've written an article titled "Towards a Unified Linux Knowledgebase",
discussing the future of Linux documentation.
Abstract:
This document presents the case for building a unified database of
Linux documentation, augmented by powerful retrieval tools. Such a
knowledgebase is increasingly important as Linux increases in
popularity, and is sorely lacking. Ideally, the knowledgebase
needs to support complex content and queries, and to to this
end must contain metadata and semantics information. Therefore,
the suitable document representation is using emerging structured
storage standards such as XML, RDF, XPointer, XLink and the Dublin
Core. Current efforts are examined, and some future directions are
plotted.

I'd sincerely appreciate comments on any aspect of the article.
