It's true. But if we want Linux to be widely accepted - and I do want it -
basic things on Linux should be as easy as possible. If it allows
*really* easy jumpstart and basic maintenance for plain user, and doesn't
lock advanced user in the steel cage of prebuilt GUI's and
lobotomized "accessories" - well, it's great. The latter we have - now we
need the former.
