3rd annual ISOC-IL conference

                        The Third Annual Conference

                               January 13, 1999
                      Kfar-Hamacabiah, Ramat-Gan, Israel

The Israeli Chapter of the Internet Society is delighted to invite you
to attend its third annual conference.

The previous two conferences were received with major enthusiasm and
generated very good feedback. We hope that with your help, this
conference will continute this tradition of setting the thresholds even
higher, and being a model for imitation.

This year, the conference will cover several fields and disciplines:
Starting with the technology track, going through subjects in Electronic
Commerce and Education, and on to the envisioned development of the
Internet in Israel (including Internet-2 initiatives). This, as you
would expect from us by now, in talks and discussions of a professional,
rather than commercial, nature.

The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Glenn Ricart, Chief Technology
Officer of Novell, Inc.. Dr. Ricart is responsible for the development
and architecture of Novell's current technologies, and the creation of
its technology future. Dr. Ricart will present the keynote address in
the plenary session, and another talk in the technology track.

The conference will be opened by Deputy Minister Mr. Michael Eitan, who
is with us from our first conference. It will be concluded by a talk
from the General Manager of the Ministry of Communications. In between,
we'll bring you the most interesting and "hot" subjects in the Internet
field.

As usual, the number of seats in the conference is limited.

Please register as early as you can. We can't guarantee seats to late
registrations.
