I just got mine too. I also sent an answer to support@necs.com. The point
is, that I am installing a procmail script to bounce their garbage back
auto-magically and I recommend that everyone does the same, after writing
an email to necs, asking to be removed permanently from the list, or put
on the exclude database.

>From our previous experience with this wonderful spam source, we know that
it is useless (for now) to ask them to turn the thing off for us. Only a
prompt reaction can prevent this, and make them understand. Please use a
procmail script or forward each received answer to the given address. I
hope that that will make them understand how useful it would be to have an
exclude list with linux-il on it, and with anyone asking not to be
pestered by them too.

Yes, I know that it bounces to the sender (Reply-To) field, but then maybe
our majordomo should be told to swap the contents of the Reply-To and
Sender fields. This would also put linux-il as automatic reply-to in most
mailers, which may reduce the amount of double postings to the list and to
the sender.

I am glad that the Linux users pile up on Eli's stats. I'm looking forward
to the results. In fact, I know that someone is always buying the Linux
books out from under my nose (before I can reach them) at the local
bookstore. ;)
