Dinner (in the morning of WHICH Friday) ?
Friday was yesterday. WHICH Friday do you have in mind. Apropos
'organizing'. Wake up, people. The strategy is, to fix a date, an hour at
the pizzeria and a duration.
By definition, if more than 1 people show up, it will be called a meeting
;) A reasonable duration, is till 1200. This allows people to make their
minds up, talk, come late, and catch buses.
So, I am 'organizing': Next Friday, 980515, at 1030 in the Migdal Haopera.
The budget will be within 50-60 NIS/geek (er, nerd ?). I haven't got the
slightest idea about whether it's kosher. If you want to know, pick up a
phone, dial information, ask for them, and ask them. Some pizzas can be
veggie. You don't have to look in my plate.
Ok, now you're organized. Please post to the list if coming.
Peter
PS: This game of you-make-your-mind-up-so-I-make-mine-up-maybe has lasted
long enough. Are you men or Looseslow (aka Bluescreen 98) users ?!
PS2: Judging by the email headers I see here, TOO MANY participants to
this list send email using illegal software for this list's members. Ok,
flame away ;)
PS3: Is there something that I do not know, or does in.talkd require
something besides inetd to run it (yes, I have checked the wrapper
daemon tcpd). At home it runs perfectly in every which way, but at work
where I use a tiny 386DX for email it will complain with error 111 even
for local connections ?! (Note: I run a very stripped down inetd.conf, has
only talk, echo, ftp, for obvious reasons, and no name server, relying
on remote for that).
