Installation problems
A refreshment to all you peace lovers and Glisha yeshira discussers, here
is a LINUX question:
Yesterday I installed Linux (slack from the ILUG ftp) on a machine that
already had NT installed on it (900 MB part of 1.5 G disk, the rest was
devided to 64 swap 82 and 83 native until the end of disk).
in the installation process everything went fine, only every time I
tried to format the partitions (Promary and swap) I got:
WARNING: INVALID FLAG 0000 OF PARTITION TABLE 4 WILL BE CORRECTED BY
W(RITE)
I tried to reboot my computer before installing (and after fdisk) and
some other variations, but it didn't work.
Can anybody tell me what this message is all about and what should I do
to correct it?
Thanks,
...Ziv
