Re: Problem with LILO
When LILO only types LI it means the master boot sector was demaged.
In order to revive it enter with a dos system disk, and type fdisk /mbr
(that is the dos version of fdisk). This should restore the master boot
record from a backup made before LILO was installed.
Then insert the RH CD and upgrade your system with the same version.
During the upgrade you will notice the CD doesn't install anything and
after the empty installation you will get a chance to install LILO again.
