Hi,
This looks like a cabling problem to me. DO the following:

1. Power down
2. Check all cable connections very carefully, especially the ribbon
   connectors
3. If the SCSI disks are in a separate box, power them up before the PC
4. Power up and see what happens

You shouldn't need any special boot parameters for this card.
