Yes, and making hebrew this, and making hebrew that, and basically *every*
application has to have hebrew support of itself. Or in shared lib, like
motif... What if I just want Qt or Gtk? Or have statically linked motif
application?
While to display visual hebrew, you need only one thing - the font.
Which on the present stage is better. If you'd assure me that Netscape
will support logical hebrew not next week, but at least next year - I'd
vote for it with two hands and two legs. But I suppose that even iso8859-8
won't make it's way into (still hardcoded, we hate to learn) charset list
of Netscape Jabberwocker 5.0. Wanna bet? ;) Any they *will* ignore your
attepmt to explain that it's important. Like they do now.

Well, here it's true... Seems that "locale" concept (as well as "charset"
concept) is a bit unfit for different directions. As is HTML and other Web
"international" standartds. Until some fitting comcept is found, hacks and
cludges will prosper.

Last time I asked he didn't ;) I'm waiting with great hope for such a

It's perfectly up ;) Read: "It worked!" ;)))
