Offering someone to learn how to program for TCP/IP using Berkely sockets
under Unix from a FAQ is
considered a federal crime punishable by death throughout the continental US
;-)
I've already covered Richard Stevens's "Unix Network Programming" (THE bible
as far as this issue
concernes) cover to cover, and didn't find a conclusive answear to my
question there, so unless you
have a precise answear please don't respond...mainly since the FAQ doesn't
answear this question
since read()ing and write()ing a socket looking for sigpipes signals is
hardly a worthy prgramming
solution and far from an advicable technique...
