Back when I wrote my thesis, I used Dov Grobgeld's HED (DOS editor)
under dosemu.
I checked out Hebrew extensions to vim and vi.iv too.
there may have been additional development done later, I suggest you ask
people at
the TEchnion's CS department.
All the programs I mentioned are just editors. Using an editor with
Laxet is
defenitly not WYSIWYG.
