1) One can use Emacs (and Gnus?) under windows.
2) I am too lazy to check, but it's probably possible to overwrite
   the X-Mailer field (well, even if it is possible, it's admittedly
   beyong the capabilities of an average Windows user)
3) How do you know that Mr. Belikoff doesn't use windows? Even if he
   uses UNIX or Linux to post to the list, he can still be a hidden
   devotee of MS, can't he?
