Re: performance problems
Hi,
In order to prevent syslogd from sync()'ing the disk on every write, you
can add a hyphen to the appropriate line, like this:
/etc/syslog.conf:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
localmail.* -/var/log/maillog
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
