Support for Linux newbies in various areas of Israel?
I am mentioned in the Linux-IL FAQ as someone who volunteered to help Linux
newbies in Petah Tikva area.
Since there is no mention of volunteers from other parts of Israel, I get requests
from places varying from Ramat Gan to Sasa in Northern Galilee.
I try to help them by E-mail but some of them need more intimate handholding
than I can provide (my being straight male, and their not being sexy females).
So I am asking for volunteer experienced Linux installers from other cities to stand
up and be counted.
At the moment, I am in E-mail contact with someone from Netanya who needs
help from nearby experienced Linux installer. It would be nice if I could refer him
to someone living in Netanya or nearby instead of just telling him "Sorry but I
can't help you" and leaving him in limbo.
