Wow.... The fact that it's declared stable and bug-free doesn't mean that it
really is stable and bug-free (see M$ for many examples).

This is one thing that is not likely to change when a program is declared
stable :-(

I don't know about future releases, but this one (1.0) won't have built in
java support (this feature is still in the KDE wishlist).

Well, yes and no.
True, when r-to-l components like menus are added to qt/kde, all programs will
be ABLE to use them, but unlike spanish, german, and so on, the source code
will need to be modified to set the menus and dialogs differently if it's a
r-to-l language. (Well, that is, unless there's some magical environment
variable that does that automatically which would be very cool but not so
likely :-(, and even if so, there will always be some programs which will use
some widgets in a way that it won't be viewed correctly in hebrew).
However, I'm sure that once unicode support is added to qt, many people from
the list will volunteer to help with translations and documentation (Am I
wrong, guys?).
