More 100Mbit
Well, after a bit of reading on the matter, 100MBit works on 1 of 3
types of wiring -
100Base TX (2 pairs of wire),
100Base T4 (4 pairs of wire)
100Base Fx (Optic fibre)
My adapters, as clearly stated both on them (on the bracket down below
the 3 LEDs) and in intel's site are TX.
So with my crossed 4 wire it should have worked - since the same cable
worked well on 10Mbit. furthermore, 100Mbit ethernets have stronger
transmissions and can work over much longer wires. so that rules out
wiring probbies.
So.... why doesnt it work?
