I'd pretty much be a whle lot happier with a completely new FAQ. I think
the old one was written, quite intentionally I'm sure, in a very
condecending, patronising and arrogant way. Most of the questions and
answers are worded in a way that a lot of non-native english speakers
would have trouble with, and while we _do_ want to flame people who DON'T
read the FAQ, I don't think it's fair to make that harder on them.

For example, "Q1.7) One needs help and handholding for someone more
competent than oneself. Whom to bug?"

I think it's time to put an end to Marcsism until people really deserve
it, eh?

Second, do we _really_ need a "Who are the movers and doers of Linux-IL?"
And I'm NOT just saying that because for some reason the guy doing the
website doesn't seem to be mentioned.

Nice of you to mention there are more Linux Resources on the Linux
Resources page. A link might be useful.

Again, I have to say, I don't really see that much of an update. And like
I said originally, the FAQ should be re-written, not majorly cut'n'pasted
with new people listed as 'movers and doers'. Also, this might sound
petty, but most the movers and doers thing is like
John Q Poster	Uhhh... nice guy, posts to the mailing list.
Joe W. Mailer	Uhhh... nice guy from HAIFA, posts to the mailing list.

Now, I don't want to belittle anyone's contribution to the mailing list,
but I _do_ think that's stretching quite a bit. If we want a list of
top-10 posters to LinuxIL, I'm sure someone can write a script that checks
that and posts a message every month.
