Re: Website content-management software project

Hi!

1. Thank you for the credit!

2. The idea is important. I think that this is the most important
issue which still lacks a reasonable answer from the Open Source
"industry". There are some not bad products, with price tags of
$5000-$20,000. I would not count FrontPage. It supplies SOME
features of content management, but its main power is in editing
and authoring of new documents. Microsoft recommends to combine
it with another product of them (Visual SourceSafe), but this
   combination is still very weak.

3. Since the project is VERY ambitious, I propose the following:

   a. Some of us can arrange a joint-venture/company which will
develop this as GPL, and will sell support and installations
      (like Sendmail and other companies).
   b. I invested much time in design and planning. I would be glad
to share my results with you (but please don't ask me to do
it by e-mail or by writing long documents in English; I
really don't have the time for it!).
   c. Let's do a mini-conference about this project in one of the
universities. I volunteer to give a lecture (keynote? ;-)
