Re: PID of tcp/ip daemon



Use fuser, for example :
/home/lim> netstat -an 
...
tcp        0      0 192.114.42.30:1027      132.68.8.42:23 ESTABLISHED
...

/home/lim> fuser -v -n tcp 1027

                     USER        PID ACCESS COMMAND
1027/tcp             lim         489 f....  telnet

Thats it , fro more info take a look at man for fuser.
