Yes, all of them today use PnP (Plug and Pray)

It does. If you have Redhat Linux version 5.1 or 5.2 - there is a program called
ISAPNP - check it out.

If you have Redhat 5.2 - then run "sndconfig" - it will detect your card
(people, correct me if I'm wrong).
If not, you have a module called es37 (or something like this) - which you can
modprobe and use the card. I'm not sure if it's available in kernel 2.0.x

You can use all your equipment (besides winmodem stuff), and depends which VGA
card you got.
