Hi,
A friend of mine is considering installation of Linux (RH52) on his
laptop, which is:
Compaq Presario 1655, Pentium II/266MHz. with Neomagic 128XD
video card.
It also has a win modem, which I assume is not supported by Linux.
1) Has any of you have had experience with Linux on such machine ?, main
concern is the support of Video card, modem connect is not essential,
cause he can keep using the M$ connection to internet.
2) Regarding partitioning the disk (FAT32 Win98), has anyone use the
'partition manager' program (part237) which comes with RH5.2 ?, any
recommendations ?.
Best regards,
Yossi A.
