Thanks, Tuvik
I know that there are such an applications (which hadles tar.gz)
My questions is : I have a file of lets say 5M (single file, e.g. netscape
executable) I can tar it into volumes with tar, but I'm almost sure that
the application that handles tar.gz on dos/win wouldn't be able to handle
the multivolumes of tar.gz... (at least from the programs I know)
And Tucows has about 30 programs, so I ask if someone knows (and tried it)
so it can do the work
Or maybe there are some linux tools that create files which can be easily
handled on a different platforms?
