Actually, no. It's a test we're conducting in the Technion dormitories,
with a few selected users. The use of these units is to connect an
interface to a remote network (up to 1 km, in theory), or connect 2 LANs
(in a more advanced model). Since our model can connect only one interface
to the Technion LAN (i.e. one MAC address), we had to use a linux router
to route the computers involved. The cost was around roughly $1000 for a
base unit/remote unit/laptop unit at the time of the donation. It is a
BreezeNET SA-10 unit, you can look it up in their website.
