i hope this's not how it sounds. i am NOT proud of that. i just never got
to that... the problem is the "real" code i write is not compiled with
gcc, so i need to read sun's manuals about their profiler.

*shrug* well, i'm not into that yet, i just always installed these
development libraries because i always "hoped i will get to trying to
debug and profile the kernel, etc.", but hardly got around to that
eventually. i'll try removing these packages and compile some program with
debug info and see what i get..

apprently, i didn't get this spirit from your original message. perhaps
try to write it more clearly on your next similar reply, and i promise i
won't respond when you use this 'techi-for-educational-purpose' mode ;0.
