Re: Don't even start this thread! Was: Re: Computax: Thanks and Credits, Version 0.9

People, please, I don't understand your argument; Our booth was
attractive (even without those naked models), it was crowded most
of the time (thanks to its size), its location was the best that
anyone of you could dream of, and even the equipment (hardware
AND software) worked well (except for the (in-)stability of Gimp).
The exhibitors were professional (contrary to the other booths),
and people told us that we were the only interesting thing (well,
some liked also the Hebrew PalmPilot and the Truster...).

Another reason that we don't have to "improve" the booth for the
next exhibition, is that *WE WILL NOT JOIN THE NEXT EXHIBITION!*
Because of the expected success of Linux, our presence will not be
needed at all. Moreover, I am sure that till next exhibition there
will be important hardware and software companies which will show
Linux (and I don't refer to El-Mar or to PF1 or even to VA
Research, but to the biggest hardware and software companies).

Regarding to Linux girls: Ira, seems that the status in the U.S.
is better than Israel, and I know the reason. Yes, I know some
female hackers and experts, and some even visited our booth, but
the numbers is so small, far from the numbers you mentioned (10%-
15% in America). The reason is that Linux is strong in American
universities (where the percent of women is high), but very weak
in Israeli universities, at least in relative to its potential.
Linux in Israel is strong in ISPs and start-ups, where the number
of women is lower.

P.S. Please don't start a new thread; We are tired of this subject.
P.S.^2 the Penguin and the sheeps WERE naked :-)
