i think fter you've completely "ruined" its setup (and since win95's setup
cannot be fixed after it's being ruined beyond a certain point), i'd
suggest that you:
1. re-install win95.
2. configure only its own tcp/ip stack.
3. use its native 'ping' program to make tests.
if you fail to do that, go to a win95 expert. it might be that win95
doesn't recognize your card, and you need to install its proper driver -
does such win95-specific come with your card, or it's too old, and no
relevant driver found on its manufacturer's web site?
in any case, this thread is getting long, as has nothing 'linux' in it.
