SCSI errors

We installed a new internal SCSI harddisk (with ID 6). Since then we've
been getting errors like this:

  SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 6 lun 0 return code = 2
scsidisk I/O error: dev 08:22, sector 884762, absolute sector 9077912
EXT2-fs error (device 08:22): ext2_read_inode: unable to read inode
block - inode=111033, block=442381

  SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 0 lun 0 return code = 28000002
  extra data not valid Current error sd08:01: sns = 70 4 ASC=15 ASCQ= 1
  Raw sense data:0x70 0x00 0x04 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0a 0x00 0x00 0x00
0x00 0x15 0x01 0x01 0x00
scsidisk I/O error: dev 08:01, sector 2, absolute sector 65

And some these errors (as you can see) are not on the HD we added but on
one that has been working fine for months.

Some more info - there are no SCSI ID conflicts. The system has been
running flawlessly till today. The SCSI is onboard AIC-7880.

Before we installed this internally, we tried it externally, but got
fatal parity errors, and the technician confirmed that the external SCSI
connector was no good. The harddisk works fine on other computers.

So, anyone know what's causing this?
