the C.O.L.A. fizz list opened, also invited to ira-tech
feel free to add yourself or pass on to your friends in other LUGs and
mailing lists... (I'm not a member of BALUG, CABAL etc.)
I have reopened the C.o.l.a. digest digest list I once maintained.
basically, I'll post there just the "fizz" of COLA
(comp.os.linux.announce), i.e. w/o the PGP signatures and LOCAL messages
(I mean, Israelis and SV people are not interested in LUG meetings in
Hungary or South Africa, am I right?)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd also like to use this opportunity to mention I have a mailing list
that has been running over a year now, and has just crossed the 1000-posts
line last week (yes, not high volume, but pretty high quality - I'd like
to think). list's name is ira-tech, and runs on my own mail server
(privacy guaranteed more than on E-groups :-)
Although the name sugests I "own" the list, it's not the case at all - it
just runs under my UID with Qmail... anyone is welcome to post - ask or
discuss - about the latest trends in the net, Linux, IT, hi-tech of all
sorts and the economics of all of the above - in short, an all-around
geeks' list. In the day-to-day the main poster is me, I digest 25-30 news
sources into 5-7 posts a day (I try to keep it down, depends on how
interesting the day is and how much time my work allows me to spend on
this). A selection of messages comes from news.com, zdnet, Slashdot,
upside, and a long list of other general and linux-specific sources (yes,
a LOT of linux news :-)
so anyway, the more the merrier, I want to hear more oppinions and learn
from more people myself...
