Hmm, seems that you've been with Alpha's too much :)
1. Why did u buy P200MMX? you could add a few dozens shekels and you
could buy a PII 233 or better - 266 which is MUCH faster (I heard that
next month they're stopping the P200MMX manufacturing)
2. OpenGL on S3/Virge? it will run very sloooowwllllyyy...
My suggestion:
Get everything (almost) back and get this:
1. Leave you S3 for a good 2D performance (X server)
2. Get a GOOD Motherboard (I suggest for you to check
http://sysdoc.pair.com) and at least PII-233
3. Get yourself a Voodoo 1 3D card. It costs today something like 150$,
it supported by Linux ofcourse :)
4. For god sake, the prices of RAM getting to the floor. Expand to 64MB
Finally, after this "Shipootz", no new hard disk??
