This is not Unix emulator.  Just a collection of *.exe programs which
implement essentially the same action as the correspondingly-named Unix
commands.  I don't know if it is being sold nowadays, maybe you can find a
pointer in the WWW.

If you are going to transfer binary files, then this is not an issue.  
Otherwise, use todos (Unix->DOS) or fromdos (DOS->Unix).
