Ha Ha Ha,
It's like searching for a needle in bunch of straw.
I spent a lot of time looking for this kind of info but all in vain!
I have a big bunch of URLs to misc Hebrew layouts related Pages and RFCs
but no one has the info you and me looking for?
How many Israeli sites suffering from this? And end up with site that only
specific platform users can use them...
The only messiah is Eli I think, but I think that Messiah should come for
free :-) Eli, don't get me wrong! I'm not to hurt you, (ofcourse it's your
bussiness) I just wanted to say that there is no free information and
because of that free tools that can convert between misc Hebrew formats.
Like Visual <-> Logical, (there 4 of them right)
I wanted to write a few libraries for this ( I've just needed them to do
something and I don't care others to use them for free ) But I didn't find
no specs no algorithms of how these layout works. I think this is a shame
! How it happends to be that there are specs for English layout and not
Hebrew !!!
Actually I wrote a lib to convert from Visual to Logical, but I did
reverse engineering and because of that I couldn't complete theis little
but usefull project... (I went rebooting my PC from linux to win about 20
times to check what other glich I have missed...)
So whether someone will break into Micro$oft or other company who knows
the specs but don't want to share with us (use Linux if you do, Ediot
Ahronot endorses use of Linux for breaking in :-) or just make other
people learn English, which is not a bad idea after all...
