I haven't seem much ease in installation of RedHat 5.0,. OK, the interface
has cool colors, and there is plenty of software, but: Default config is
not spartane as in Slackware, but very pretending, and failing to provide
the desired. The ease of configuration cannot come instead of reading
documentation (IMHO)

:Do you know anyone who likes to struggle with Linux?
Me. I may sound silly, but system which comes out of box cannot provide
all the bells-and-whistles I like to see in my Linux box.

:pointed out, why stuggle when the system comes pretty much pre-configured,
:and needs as little post-configuration as possible?
Because unique pre-configuration cannot satisfy the everyone needs.
