I am so familiar with Red Hat and the configuration
manager doing the work of setting up pppd on bootup
(for example), and other network tools...is S.u.S.E.
5.2 a little better than 5.1? I tried to set up 5.1
and just gave up trying to get a smooth pppd/httpd
setup as easily as Red Hat did/does for me. But boy
does S.u.S.E. have a ton of great things in their
distribution (and more centralized /etc/rc.config)!
Sorry for interupting anything in this list, I first
became interested in Linux a year or so ago when I
simply followed this list from Florida: reading your
comments but *not* inputting like this message.
