I have no problem hosting the website, ftp server, mailing list and
archives. I have no boss to ask for permission, so this is an
authoritative answer. Yet, I have to ask permission from the subscribers
of this list. Do you want the list to move to another location?
As for the linux.org.il domain, I've spoken with Jonathan about serving as
a secondary NS for him, but I had received no answer for the past week.
[Omer Zak] My only concern, as a subscriber of the Linux-IL mailing list, is that the domain
linux.org.il be reliably accessible. I suppose that if you (Shachar) can ensure that any successor
of yours will provide reliable DNS for the next several years, then no one from the list would
object to the transfer of the domain name from a commercial venture to an academic
institution.
