It could be a good thing to tell us what card do you have.
First I would try RH4.2 since it has (if I'm not mistaken) a later version
of XFree and it covers most of the newest cards but not all of them.

Also 6 days ago has been released XFree 3.3.2 which I guess was updated
with all the latest card... check their site http://www.xfree86.org/

Another thing to try is to go to www.dejanews.com and search for the
answer there, since many other people ask the same question over and over
again and you will find some of the answers very easily, unless you have
some new card , which is unlikely...

You could try to browse our mailing list archives for the discussion of
where one can purchase RH5.0 and other linux sw, but seems that no one
remember or CARE to find the link to it (it was somewhere at weitzman)
after linux.org.il crashed
