in-kernel inodes




Thanks all for your help, it seems that Alan Cox has helped me fix the
problem. There goes:

1). Download patch-2.0.34pre9 (fixes the vm bug), and also fixes alot of
    drivers.
2). Go to http://www.linux.org.za/filehandle.patch.linux . Get it, and
    patch manually, since the patch doesn't apply cleanly.
3). Recompile the kernel.
4). Recompile squid.
