SPAM COMPLAINT!!! (was: FW: Confirm: Trying to connect to Sitcom from Linux)
Hello Pekerman and M@ilPush personnel,
I am hereby notifying you that I received two copies of M@ilPush
confirmation message associated with my E-mail message (which
contained a warning against sending spam). One of them is enclosed
below.
It is generally agreed that those confirmation messages constitute
spam, because they occur repeatedly and are unsolicited by me and
there is no convenient or reliable way to completely block receipt of
those messages.
Accordingly I hereby demand from you the equivalent in NIS of
US$1000.- (US$500.- per message) plus VAT. A receipt
(hashbonit-mas) will be given, if so desired.
I reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings if the matter is not
closed to my satisfaction by Monday 30 Nov 1998 at 11:00A.M.
Since it is probable that this message will yield 4 further M@ilPush
confirmation messages (two for personal message, and two due
to the copy to Linux-IL mailing list), I anticipate that you'll owe me
the equivalent in NIS of US$3000.- very shortly.
--- Omer
WARNING: by sending me unsolicited commercial/religious/political/M@ilPush
E-mail (known also as "spam") you irrevocably agree to pay me US$500.-
(plus any legal fees incurred by my trying to collect the above amount) per
unsolicited commercial/religious/political/M@ilPush E-mail message sent
to me - for the service of receiving it.
