Yes, we saw such problems at some stage. We decided we'd be better off
by replacing the disks.
I DON'T remember which disks exactly caused it (2-3 times in total).
But what I do remember, at that time we had Seagates (1.2Gb, 1.7Gb),
IBM Jaffar's (same sizes), and possibly Quantums. At least one of bad
disks was Seagate.
Also, I saw a number of e-mail postings advising against Segate
disks...
