"acct on", or simply "rm /var/adm/[wu]tmpx"
who tries to read utmpx (or wtmpx, it depends on whther you use GNU acct
or SysV like tools). Size of file may grow up to tens of MBs in a short
time on server (just for example: wtmpx, which is smaller than utmpx, is
now 15 MB on Solaris machine which is open for 12 users only, just 3 weeks
of harvest...
