Re: The Palo Alto Tea Party

I think that we must wait to the official announcement of 2.2, and
then to set a party, including installations. Mandrake plans to
launch a combination of their 5.2 (based on RH 5.2 with the current
kernel + KDE) and the new kernel (2.2.?) on mid-January.

In addition, I think that I can get a VERY important company to
sponsor/finance/host/etc the event, with some interesting Linux
announcements of THIS specific company.

BTW: Did anybody see the new results of the monthly survey of
NetCraft, just announced? Apache passed the 57% barrier! The
Open-Source software already has some mid successes in the way to
world domination: Apache, sendmail, BIND, etc.
