Hey, "off-topic" means, in particular, that a thread should not be
started! You are trying to say that it is marginally on-topic, and
then suggest a separate list for the topic. Well, there isn't much
traffic on used h/w here to support a list. Moreover, if you are not
specifically on the lookout for cheap used out-of-fashion hardware you
won't subscribe to the list (and will miss sth that otherwise would
draw your attention). If you are on the lookout, you might forget that
such a list exists.
I think that
1) there are sufficiently few postings of this kind on this list to be
tolerated by the purists,
2) ILUG is small enough not to be divided into "interested in used
h/w" and "uninterested in used h/w",
3) there are enough people who might be interested to warrant posting
EOT(hread), hopefully.
