PPP Connection Scripts (was: RE: [Linux Hebrew] RE: Minimum set of Hebrew applications...)

I was thinking about the Linux newbie who needs handholding.
He will need ready scripts for connection to NetVision, Actcom,
Internet-Zahav, Sitcom, ISDN.Net, etc.
Why not make it easier for him by providing him/her ready-made
scripts, which were tested by oldtime customers of those ISPs, so
that all he'll need to do is:
1. Select the ISP from a menu.
2. Plug in his phone number.
3. Plug in his username+password (if necessary).
4. Hit the "Configure" button.
5. Hit the "Dial" button.

For expert sysadmins, the existing packages are already good enough
and they'll be able to figure out their own way.
But non-experts will need some help, and they shall obtain it some way
or other. Why not help them by pre-packaging scripts which were developed
and tested and certified to work with Israeli ISPs?
                                                                            --- Omer

There' no need for additional work here... the Debian installation
scripts are available GPL'd, are simple, easy-to-use and reliable, and
can be modified at your will for any necessary modification. I'm sure
RedHat has something of similar quality, also GPL'd.
