It has been brought to our attention that you are interested in having
our ATI TV cards run on the Linux operating system. At this time, the
developer relations department at ATI does not have any development
information for the TV Tuner available for other OS such as Linux or
OS/2. Some of the hardware used in the ATI TV Tuner is licensed from
third parties, and it would be illegal for us to distribute development
information. Also, the register spec for interfacing with the card is
extremely complicated and also changes frequently but more importantly
it is considered as confidential information.

The developer relations department at ATI is however aware that there is
demand for this and the importance of supporting the growing Linux
community. They are currently looking into the possibility of working
with some strategic Linux developers in providing this support. However,
we have not been given a date of when or if this will take place. If
support is offered, the developer relations group we will announce this
in the appropriate newsgroups.

If you want to address the ATI developer relations group directly they
can be reached by the following ways. They can be reached @
905-882-2600 ex.#6000 or @ their email address of devrel@atitech.ca.
Check out our web page at
http://www.atitech.com/resource_centre/dev_rel/index.html for the
developer support section.
