RE: Haifa party.

Hello,
I'm very sorry you didn't understand me correctly. I *DO* (I won't be able
to get it boler :)) think that this site should be as informative as it
can! I meant that the site doesn't have to include 100K images and lots of
annoying java applets like some sites on the web. It should be easily read
even from lynx (SInce I don't like to wait hours until Netscape opens, or
get into X just to surf the net...). It even might be useful at add a
newbie page (Or at least link to Installation and Getting Started and the
Installation-HOWTO, if there isn't a link yet(I don't remember)). I'll
be glad to write such a page when this semester is over (I learn over 30
hours and work 20 more so I don't think I'll have time.)
Well, I think that by now I'm clear enough. (BTW did someone read what I
had to say about the Party or you just read things about the site?)

Conclusion: I think Yaron is doing great, and we should thank him and
help, not just to see bad things all the time!

I would have find it more useful though if it had more links and a bit more explanation for newbies. Linux is not that easy to start with and definitely not so easy getting through the FM. If you encounter any problems installing Linux as a newbie you are still pretty stuck as things are today in finding information.
