The LinuxIL WebSite - READ AND RESPOND :-)

I didn't quote everything, since I don't think there's much point to relate to
every sentance.

there's one big issue standing here, as I see it, and I think OTHER PEOPLE,
except us two, should express their opinion about it.

the main issue is who decides how this site will look and what will go on on
it. It is VERY nice of you to volunteer, and I don't think you should step
out, but there's one decision I think everybody on this list should
participate in. and it's whether the coordinator of the page will decide
everything about the page, or that the coordinator of the page is someone that
volunteers to help in creating a page that everyone on the group will feel
happy with. And if the second one is chosen, then some guidelines about this
page should be agreed upon by this forum, and not only by you.

And one little thing - I never said we should make pages that are supported
ONLY by NS4.0, working only with Java Applets and cookies. What irritated me
was the fact you said thigns that the site should look *exactly* the same
under each browser - and THIS part I do not like.
Basic functionability and data - should be supported backwards - yes. But not
putting background or other sorts of grahpics since they are not supported by
lynx, or look different on older browsers is like not using any Pentium
enhancments cause there are still 80-86 chips arround. Technology advances,
and so should we. And eye catching IS the name of the game on the world wide
web, or on any other "advertising-like" information (brouchers, booth in
computax, etc.).

my 2 cents....
