>From your address (root@heunique.com) follows that you manage your mail as
root. This way you should have a problem - many Linux systems do not allow
root remote login (access) by default. This however contradicts to your
statement that you're capable to telnet to your machine (as root?) and
read mail. Anyway, check your security settings (PAM configuration or
whatever you use). If no result - give us more info.
