Are you joking ? (g)libc contains every runtime C function excepting the
kitchen sink and some networking and graphics code. It is the largest
library on most Linux systems, excepting some X11 libs. libc is THE
library. Everything else comes after it. The complete description of
(g)libc spans most of Knuth, most of K&R, some Stroustrup, and several
thousand Linux developer emails over a few years. In general, every
function that is prototyped in stdlib.h stdio.h and many other headers
lives there.

I just thought I'd mention it, lest Frodo let you think this is some
optional library you can partially install.

MAKE A LOG OF YOUR CHANGES. NOTICE THE CAPITALS. NOTHING WORKS WITHOUT
LIBRARIES ON AN ELF SYSTEM, NOT EVEN INIT.
