Unless you're ready to drill and solder your Celerons you're not going
to be able to run two of them on one board. Normally Celerons are not
able to work in SMP configurations. There's a hacker in Japan that
hacked his two Celerons to work together. See
http://www.cpu-central.com/dualceleron/index-dc.html . Russian readers
can read more info about at http://ixbt.stack.net/cpu/dualceleron.html

Generally, CPUs on servers are supposed to have as much cache as
possible. There are special versions of PIIs with a megabyte and I
think even two of L2 cache, and are targeted at servers.

Unless you are determined to have an SMP machine you may want to look
at AMD. Their K6-2 CPUs are about as fast as PIIs, and are
substantially cheaper. They have a weaker floating point unit, but
that is not important for servers.
