A couple of minor corrections :-)

To be more precise, they own "a source code of Unix System V". The
latter is important, since there are also BSD and a so-called UNIX
"research" version (v 10.something), which, I believe is still owned
by Bell Labs.
OTOH, this "ownership" will become a mere formality really soon, once
Sun announces its licensing of Solaris source code base.

Not completely correct. Until recently, according to ancient MS-SCO
agreements, SCO had to bundle some MS-Xenix compatibility code and pay
royalties to Microsoft. AFAIR SCO sued MS recently and was allowed to
drop this "compatibility".
PS. Boy, the OpenServer is a real dog. :-) This is the slowest UNIX
I've ever seen (and I've seen quite a number of them).
