Help me!!

Hello...
For some reason, fsck decided that my /home dir is on
deleted/unused Inode or something. Luckily I told it not to clear
it, but, when it finished it did something to it so it's no longer
	a directory, ls -l /home says something like -
	  '?--------- 0 root root ... /home'
(The ls did the '?', I only put the "...")
Is there any way to make it a directory again or somehow rescue
the info that was in all the /home tree?

	Help will be *VERY* appreciated.
	Thanks

P.S. -	Switching to tty4 on micro$oft windows is *not* a good idea.
