Re: What UPS's available in Israel are recommended?
First of all, I want to thank those who replied to my original question.

This advice is appropriate for people who use UPS's to make servers 100%
available. The servers are typically left working unattended.
But in my (and several others') case, the UPS is needed to allow me to
shut down the computer in a clean way after power failure. By this I mean
- save any files being edited, stop any compilation in progress, logout
from any network I am logged into, and issue the Linux shutdown -h
command. For those tasks, I do need a powered-on terminal. This is why
I need the UPS to supply power for only 5 minutes after power failure.
