PPP stands for Point to Point Protocol.
This protocol can not be run on a shared bus network like Ethernet. It can
only run on an interface like RS232 or other serial link.
I don't see why you need PPP to run over Ethernet. If you will be more
specific, I may be able to give you other solution then using PPP over
Ethernet.
