Type 'vilearn' at a prompt

You also want to check joe, pico, and emacs (probably in the order given).
There are others, these are default installed on any Linux.

Maybe if you tell us what test.c is ? ;) And what command did you use to
compile ?

If test.c is:

/*
 * test.c
 */

#include <stdio.h>

void main(void)
{
	printf("Hello, world\n");
}

/* end */

and the command to compile was:

# gcc test.c -o test

and to run:

# ./test
 (^^this *must* be here)

and it did not work, then something is not set up right in your system.
