Linux hebrew support, to be or not to be?
I think that the fact that Linux cant be used as
the only OS at most of people is becuse there is no good hebrew
support.
now I'm not saying that Linux should be with FULL
hebrew support and hebrew documation, but I think that there should be word
proccessing with full hebrew support that can replace MS-word, and mabey even a
hebrew X desktop.
I think that if Linux will have more support
in hebrew people in israel could use it more...
personaly I'm using Slackware3.5 and RD5.2 for the
internet, the for programming and such, but for evrything else, like work
proccessing, and such I have to use windows.... now if I could use Linux for
those things I could spare windows that takes more space and take more time and
have more bugs...
and another thing, why REAL men uses VI... it
is not comfy, doesnt have anything special in it. pine or emacs is much
better.
I think that people in this list should do what
ever they can to improve and inlarge the Linux hebrew support! BECUSE MABEY, AND
JUST MABEY, IN A COUPLE OF YEARS LINUX WILL REAPLCE THE MICROSOFT
DESKTOP OS CALLED -==WINDOWS==-
