That means it links shared library which does not exist.

If it is linked against glibc - definitely you should move to glibc to run
it. Or at least install glibc.

There are "files with holes". Holes do not take place on disk, but
are filled with zeroes on cp and then do take place. tar and cpio should
handle those cases, IIRC.
