Dear Galileo Postmaster,
The MIME-attached message was posted to the Linux-IL mailing
list, which I happen to be the owner of. I would like to point
out that Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (also known as SPAM) is
not appreciated on the mailing list, whether it's about making
money fast or 15th century historic castles. Nor is SPAM
appreciated on the mail server of the Institute of Computer
Science and Engineering of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem,
which happens to run the mailing list.
Please also note that Valentin Ossman <valentin@galileo.co.il> is
a subscriber of the mailing list -- otherwise, our mailing list
software wouldn't let the message through.
Having clarified these points, I would really appreciate if you
explain to Valentin in most painful way possible that SPAM is:
(a) Immoral;
(b) Illegal and considered Theft of Service;
(c) Annoying and not particularly welcome on professional
mailing lists.
It would be even better if you could nuke Valentin Ossman's
account (or at least e-mail access) in the process.
Finally, it will make me very happy if you take time to report to
me about the educational activities performed before the end of
November, 1999.
Yours,
Vadik,
The Linux-IL owner <linux-il-owner@linux.org.il>,
A CS HUJI Postmaster <Postmaster@cs.huji.ac.il>.
