The lists are not run that way. The lists are run such way that
to post, you must subscribe. And you can post from the address
you subscribed from (i.e., ira-lists-linux at whatever.dom).
But there is a feature in Listar which allows the subscriber not
to receive the mail from the list. _AS A SIDE EFFECT_, it lets
you subscribe from an address different from the one you get mail
to, and post from there.
No list is *run that way*, but all the Listar lists have this
side effect.

I can, but you don't parse my replies as jokes... Maybe it's

I didn't imply that you don't know what it is. I just noted that
running those jobs from crontab doesn't give me that wet pleasure
as a manual execution would.
