this seems more important then duplicating your floppy.
Try the /sbin/lilo -l option (for LBA configured drives, as i recall)

why would anything be wrong? write protect the floppy, thats it.

dd is duplicate diskette, not duplicate files.
what you do is you use dd to put the floppy into an image file.
then you use dd to put the image file into another floppy,
its that easy.


but if you ike it even easier, you have the boot disk image in your RH
CD.
and it comes with full instructions.
