hebrew support

Hi all,

I've been having a rather interesting thought.

We are trying to develop hebrew support, but, most of the people who are
capable of doing so are lacking the time (and/or will) to sit and make all
the work.
I think we can find a way to have someone write it, and get something for it
as well, thus making it much more attractive to develop - and that is a
student's project.

Big portions of linux has been developped in the academy, and I believe an
issue like hebrew support can be an excellent project in various courses
being tought today in the universities, like a lab in operating system, or
natural language, etc.

I am not currently related with academic institutions, but if people in here
are either students, or instructors of such labs, I think it can be a good
way to contribute to the linux world, while getting exeperience, and also
the oh so needed mark.

Just my 2 cents...

Ofer.
