Linux router problem



Hi,

I setup an intel Linux box with two NE2000 nics and try to use it as a
router for our test subnet here at VocalTec. The test subnet is 15.15.15.0
and the main LAN is 209.117.177.0. Here's what my table looks like:

As you could have guessed both nics are on same physical network.... If I
do load routed it doesn't help. But I beleive I don't need it...

For some reason I can't get beyond the box (make it act as a router), but I
can ping both nics from inside both subnets (weird). What could be the
problem?

There's a couple of other things that might give you a tip: first of all I
only installed the minimum packages from RedHat 5.2 CD, since I don't want
any extra stuff on it; second -- my telnet sessions get disconnected after
1 minute of inactivity (which is extremely annoyn and I don't notice that
on other RedHat boxes)
