It has a volume knob and a mute button (for the internal speakers).
Also a contrast/light knobs.
But if the screen is shifted aside or tilded,
geometrical distortions of these sorts are software dependent.

They said they support OS/2 and DOS (maybe dosemu won't mind if i run it
as root),
but these ports were nowhere to be found (only windows and mac).

I'm afraid this will only make the picture smaller.

I'll do that,
but these companies dont give sh*t about linux users.
(they'll tell me to get windows)

I think it is a good idea.
This can have a blacklist of "not supporting linux" ISPs (internet gold)
too.
Actually since linux is a media star today, companies will be afraid to
be on such lists, and will do hoops in the air not damage their good
name.
