Re: Linux Event: A Clarification

> Asking permission for anything from an open mailing list is a bit silly.

Silly, but the best I could do. I already was flamed by somebody
here, after writing that "at least 90% of the subscribers would
agree with me that... (I don't remember what)". He wrote that I
didn't get any permission to talk on behalf of Linux-il. While I
didn't agree with him in the old case (I didn't relate to Linux-il
but to its subscribers, and not to all of them - only to most of
them), in this case I *REALLY* cannot advertize Linux-il as one of
the organizers of the event without trying to "smell" the general
feeling about it.

And it indeed helped me - there was a total excitement of many
people (some of them not through the list, but personally to me),
so I understood this as a "yes".

In any case, I agree that it is problematic, and I even wrote it
in my first message.
