Sorry, but S3 Trio 3D IS supported under XFree86 (it's called S3 86C365
(Trio3D)) - but it's runnning for now on 16 colours only. Next version of XFree
should have support for it for full acceleration and colours.

Also supported with FULL COLOURS. You just need to know which chipset your
graphics card have built on it - and install XF86_SVGA

HEY! Please don't flame.
The computer which I use right now is from Excellnet also. YOU should do the
checking before buying a PC - after all, 99% of their sales of PC's are for
Windows, so you can check it.

If you're intrested in a good card for XFree - I suggest buy Matrox G200 AGP
(8MB or 16MB doesn't really matter for 2D) - and it's a fast card.
