To use pnp ide interfaces, the instructions are in the isapnp package.
To use sound pnp devices, simply compile them as modules. The same goes
for network cards.

BTW, to all those who think that pnp is bad, remember what was before pnp
- network and sound cards were jumperless, but instead of using a
published standard, each manufacturer used a different method to configure
the card. Some of them even gave the details to developers...
