Which wouldn't really work. At least, it didn't work for me. 
I contacted the author of cdrecord and he said he thinks it should.
Also, even if it DID, you won't be able to add sessions to an already
existing disc, be it RR and/or Joliet. I know, because I investigated
rather thoroughtly into it. The result was me modifying mkisofs
to read in Joliet info when merging previous images. I sent the patch
to Joerg Schilling (cdrecord/cdda2wav/mkisofs author) before cdrecord
18-alpha20 was out, and it is not yet in 20. Perhaps I should send 
it again..
