Yes, Hebrew Microsoft Office on Linux! (Actually: VMWare!)
Hi everyone,
If you haven't checked www.vmware.com yet, do it now!
They have a beta version of their Virtual Machine software for Linux. It's
possible to run multiple virtual machines, each running DOS/Win 3.1/ Win
95/Win 98/Win NT 4.0/ Linux (yes, virtualized under the host Linux!) !
There will also be a future version allowing to do the same under NT.
I have installed Windows 98 (Enabled) + Office 97 in a virtual disk, and it
works!
For those who claim that the x86 architecture is not fully virtualizable - you
are probably right, but the holes are so small which is why this thing works.
This is the most amazing piece of system software I have seen in **Years**.
