Hi,
There is no individual with an identity number called linux-il. There is
no partnership or unincorporated business with this name, there is no
registered company with this name, there is no Ottoman society ("amuta")
registered with this name. There is only a mailing list that is open to
anyone.

There is nothing that would stop anyone from opening a competing
list called linux-il at any other domain.

The first group of people who want to form an amuta called linux-il can
do so, even if they are representatives of Microsoft, and no one can stop
them.

Asking permission for anything from an open mailing list is a bit silly.
