Re: Debian 2.1 - sound, lilo, gnome etc... questions



Hi, 

my 2 c about sound: A customer has a Vibra16X soundcard (the one with 2 8
bit DMA instead of 1 8 bit and 1 16 bit) and I didn't manage to get the
sound work stable with kernel drivers. SuSE 6.0 has a little bit older
version of OSS as OEM included and it solved all my problems. Very good
program that OSS.
