Re: Building a Winning Team for the Event
Before answering, let me ask all the volunteers to send me their
phone numbers (preferably - ALL their phone numbers, including
cellular). Because of constraints of the volunteers, we will be
happy to have more volunteers. Please see my table from yesterday
and fill it (my own number: 050-237338).
And a reminder (many didn't see this link and asked me):
The details are at: http://elmar.co.il/LinuxEvent
and (in English): http://elmar.co.il/LinuxEvent/index.en.html
And last thing: Entrance is free. Directions: When you enter the
main entrance of the first building (Bitan 31), you see phones on
your right. Don't turn, but go forward. Then you see a restaurant
(close at 9:00?) on your left. Ignore it too, and go forward. Then
you see a door. This door will be blocked by guards (gatekeepers).
Don't fight with them, but take another door, on the right of the
blocked door. You will find yourself in a hall. On its right wall,
there are doors into the Ulamot-Knassim. Take the last and you're
in.

As I already wrote, we wanted a frame-relay, we had 2 generous and
kind ISPs who were willing to give it for free (IBM and ActCom),
but it failed due to a chutspa (English translation?) of Merkaz-
HaYeridim. I will not detail again. So we gave up, and decided to
use dial-up PPP (I'll pay the line). We even gave up the LAN (so
no Samba, no VNC) in order to avoid IP Masquerading.

Thank you. I think I'll use my own analog account @netvision.
