Load balancing on two lines, is possible. It's quite easy if both your
lines end at the same router at your provider's (as Ariel correctly
noted in a subsequent posting). It is "less easy" if the two lines end
on different routers, as if often the case (these might even be on
different physical locations - a fine approach, for backup).
An IGP (such as EIGRP, or OSPF) can make the setup easier, in such
"less easy" cases, by passing state changes in a straightforward way.
However, "impossible" is not the word I'd use in this context.
"more difficult", "complex" - perhaps.
