The standard SVGA X server will support it in 800x600. If that is enough,
you are done. If you want more, there is a "generic frame buffer" driver
in the latest kernels and an X server for it. 

It's not as fast as a native driver, but it does work.

I was able to get a 16mb Monster Fusion AGP video card to do 1280x1024x65k.
