The best thing to do is to use ghostscript. Most of the HP printer drivers
for printers like yours include PCL emulation when you print from a 
"DOS BOX". 

Convert the files to postscript and then use ghostscript in windows to
print them. 

You may be able to find an old 386 or 486 to use as a printer driver. You
install windows 95 on it, and share the printer. Then you set up lpr to 
print via smbclient instead of on your local printer. 

Besides the computer you would need 2 network cards and either a coax or
cross over cable.

Not only do you get a printer out of it, but you can put "Windows/Linux
network integration" on your resume.
