Calibrating Delay Loop

Hi,

I am running RH 6.0, default installation on a Pentium 133Mhz with 16Mb,
sometimes when the Linux boots after the following message:
Calibrating delay loop...

The linux kernel hangs, and there is no escaping it.

This cannot be always reproduced, since it doesn't happen all the time.

I suspect a bad CPU/Memory/MotherBoard, could someone give me an idea of
what this means?

Thx.
