why would they fix it it helped users use more then the microsoft OS?
that would be against their interests, and would help other OSes....

It doesn't matter what the installation program likes or not, even if you
can convince it to install it on the second partition, in most cases it
won't boot (I think that in some special cases (i.e. the first partition
is less then 2 GB) it will boot, and that MS said something about fixing
it it future releases, so it might be fixed by now...)Liran.
