Re: hebrew support

I am referring you to the plugin development project, which is an
informal collaboration consisting of me, Guy Keren and Dov Grobgeld:
The URL is:
http://www.weizmann.ac.il/~xlacha1/plugins.html

The package is being drastically revised right now, so you may want to
wait a day or two before actually downloading the package.

The basic idea is that after developing the plugin, which packages the
BiDi algorithm, people will need only to modify applications so that the
applications will interface to the plugin, rather than lock the user to
one of the flavors of the BiDi algorithm.

The plugin approach is intended also to support other languages, with more
exotic text rendering requirements.
