Re: GPLed Hebrew Wordprocessor - Help needed

I also got a message from Mark de Does, and will send him a more detailed
reply, but here are my general comments:

First, the messages from de Does are in reply to offers made in the free
software bazaar, http://visar.csustan.edu/bazaar/bazaar.html, for those
who do not know of this site yet.

I got the impression that de Does is not aware of the right to left
issues, which are the biggest problems in writing a hebrew WP, or changing
a Latin WP to support hebrew. From my experience, it might be easier to
write a simple WP from start, than adding hebrew support to an existing
WP.

TED also has the problem of being motif based which is somewhat
problematic.

I think a better solution, at least for people who think a simple WYSIWYG
WP is enough, is to sit and write one, or add to the offer in the free
software bazaar, and hope that the sum might become enough to convince
someone to do it.
