This on eis REALLY good ;-) A case of inverted logic....
Dear Ofer, it IS BAD, unless you take a series of mandatory precautions
(such as recompiling your chosen shell as completely statically linked),
to use a shell other than the default one in root's account. It will
remain a bad idea even if you make in on an hourly basis. (No offence
meant, BTW - hope none will be taken).
The reasons for the above have already been discussed in this thread.

If you just HAVE to use another shell, run it from root's .login, or
manually after logging in. This will give you the convenience of the shell
you are used to, while maintaining the safe fallback of the default shell.
