Right. Anyway, the best (in my opinion) solution should be making your
local mail server to rewrite the From: header for you. This way you do
not need a different setup for each mail client you will ever use (but you
do need to set a local mail server first!)
An additional advantage of a local mail server is the ability to queue all
your outgoing mail while you're offline and then go online and send them
all out (for those don't have a permament connection, that is).
To do such a thing with QMail is quite simple (this is how I send all my
mail from home). I guess that the same could be done with Sendmail,
although no personal experience here.
