I have read that.
If they were in Amnon Barak's lecture on thursday,
They would know that it is the module which is binary, not anything
inside the kernel.
The GPL forbids you to use the kernel's code in your binaries without
giving your source, but says nothing about the modules.
(What I mean is not to change the modules, but to add modules. I think
Linux himself have said that he agrees when people use binary modules)
This differs from what MOSIX did with BSD.
On BSD he really modified the kernel.
On Linux he uses the /proc fs instead.
