According to Dov Grogbeld,
whose been working on visual hebrew for some time,
The GtkText and GtkEntry will be rewritten from scratch,
and will include full Unicode BiDi.
(he pointed me to the person who is incharge or this, i cannot recall
his name, though)
He's currently working on a Unicode BiDi plugin,
that can be put in many programs. (not only X widgets)
As for Qt,
Version 2.0, which is beta now,
includes Unicode functions, that (for now) can show unicode text,
but for some reason can't edit it.
(I'm not sure about that one, though)
And for the Motif apps,
Eli have hacked it so it will be unicode supportive.
(a good example is hnetscape everyone saw at the Linux event).

them now.
I think I covered the important widgets,
(AFAIK there aren't much Xt apps today that should be using hebrew)
