"Eli" ????

I deny ANY connection with Slashdot. As long as ONE of the authors
is an antisemitic guy, who admires Iraq and hates Israel and Jews,
is the only one to write politics in Slashdot, the only one to block
comments (after he wrote something very poisonous against the U.S
and pro-Iraqi), and helps to spread modern blood libels, I don't
have any connection with Slashdot.

I admit that sometimes I read Slashdot (although it is not anymore
the only source for scoops about Linux), and I even like Rob and
think he is cool and Slashdot is cool, but he could "fire" that guy
and cancel his privileges.

Yes, I was mentioned there, but it was after a regular phone talk
with Hetz, he claimed that ZDNET never liked Linux and even ignored
it, so I answered: "They just published a feature with dozens of
articles about Linux two hours ago". As usual, I didn't think it was
a scoop, and wouldn't mention it if I didn't have to argue with the
opposite opinion; Moreover, quoting other sources never has been a
"scoop" for me; But Slashdot does it all the time, so Hetz thought
it was enough for Slashdot, and it found its way to the headlines of
Slashdot.

P.S. Hetz is cool too. But don't mix us with Slashdot.

P.P.S. You mentioned Iran and not Palestine? Does it mean that
Palestine is not listed as a country? Coooooolllll.... ;-)

P.P.P.S. Mentioning newsletters, Linux, special features about Linux
etc., reminds me that PC-ON, an Israel fax newsletter, dedicated a
special feature for Linux, with 14 articles. It was in edition 389,
the March 15 edition (not the last). The feature was VERY positive.
Included: Some history, availability of commercial software products
for Linux, numbers and statistics, technical benefits, some
philosophies (ESR etc.), distributions, technical comparison with NT
and Win98, support (including PF1/Xpert/Sivan/TclTek), installation,
stuff and numbers specific to Israel, Hebrew, links, using with
Windows (including a mention of VMware; BTW: There is a new beta in
their site since yesterday), desktop applications, drawbacks (not
FUD, but real drawbacks; Well, nobody's perfect...), and future.

This newsletter is in Hebrew, and is not free (but is much higher in
level and quality than any other Hebrew newspaper I know, and there
are no ads!). Orders: 03-9667939.
