Re: PPP,Internet-Zahav and Linux
Shalom:
I got on to Internet Zahav under RH 5.2 this way:
1. First ensure that your modem is on the right port.
2. Get into networking, and set up ppp0. Change the expected items to "name:"
and "ogin:".
3. At this point, if you activate ppp0, you might actually log in and do
nothing, SO:
4. Add their IP address 192.116.192.8 to resolv.config and try again. It
worked for me.
Netscape communicator should work OK for this setup, bit it is sl-o-o-o-o-w
compared to Windoze
or OS/2 Warp 4. Any ideas?
