We fell on some very bad dates,
unfortunaly, it has to be between 12-18 and we need to get attention.
My only idea now is to wait until sukot, where mall traffic is higher
(or is it?).

Problem is - We will lose some attention,
and maybe it will not count as an official demoday which means loss of
sponsers,
I'll have to check on that, tell me what you think.

As for the mall,
I am not a mall dweller nor am I a tel aviv resident,
but I've heard that Azrieli mall is big and crowded, can anyone confirm
this for me?
Another mall which I have visited are Ayalon in ramat gan (I recall it
very crowded with small children),
and Ramat Aviv mall (crowded by teenagers and closed on weekends)

Since it is international,
I think we may get even mainstream non-computer related newspapers to
point us.
Also as I've said, I can write an article on Walla about the linux
installfests.
When we set the date, I will try to push people to it.

Sponsers can finance ads in local newspapers,
and we can print flyers.

I hope that the queue plan will work instead,
I prefer that people will learn how to use linux instead of being
impatient,
and ask the same questions over and over to busy installers.
This is all a part of the master plan where other people answer your
questions instead.

Maybe we can offer free CDs to members of ILUG,
or people who sign up for a free CD on the website.
It can also help us calculate quantities of CDs and various items.
(we can have a poll that also registers your name so you can ask for a
CD,
it will ask what CD you want, and if you're taking your computer, and
what do you want
see in the tutorial, etc)

The way I think of it, paying 40NIS is not much, and I hope it can help
bring money.
Windows costs 800NIS, and people don't care paying it when they hate it.
Also, if we sell 100CDs (hopefully more) we make can 4000NIS, that will
help us
pay for the event and hopefully more.

We should also consider the amount of CDs we get from international
sponsers.

Giving away t-shirts on a mall is a very bad idea.
Volunteers should get t-shirts (maybe hats?) for free ofcourse.
Sponsers will be happy to put their names on t-shirts as well.

As for the terrorists, I've heard they use NT,
They might visit us afterall. :-)

Very good.
People - please tell me if you want to volunteer, and if so, what can
you do?

Three chairs per computer can be good.
They don't have to be good chairs, just cheap plastic ones.
I don't think we need chairs for our presentations, if people are not
bored,
they can stand half an hour.

Cheers,
Yoni.
