Clock problem

Hello.
Lately I had to shut down my computer,
and I found out that when i shut it down the system clock changes his
time,
usually the time is similar (e.g. 2 days and 1 hour ahead),
and the hardware clock remains, so i just manually issue a hwclock
--hctosys.
but why is that?

I use RH6 out of the box.
Have anyone had a similar problem?
should I run "hwclock --hctosys" on my init script and for some reason i
don't,
or is it some kind of a weird bug?

Thanks,
Yoni.
