As I told, I do not know about any out of the box solution.  What you can
do (note, I've never tried this) is to play with outline minor/major mode
and set its delimiters to the php tags.  You define a keybinding that
folds all non-php stuff and sets you into C++-mode.  Add also a restoring
key sequence.  This is better than nothing but you still won't be able to
see both HTML and php highlighted simultaneously in the same buffer.
