Pine 4.10 out for 3 days now...

WOW... this is the definite reason to switch... 4.05 was nothing.

* "Roles" supported, you can change your identity according to where you
send an Email - have different return address for different mailing lists
to avoid spams, have different signatures for on-topic taglines, etc!

* fcc-without-attachment, need I say more?

* Setup/Config now more logically laid out

* New option to pass headers to sending filters (still gotta check what
it's good for, but it sure does sound interesting)

* signature can be piped from an executable - Random Sigs!! (now how do I
add my own forture cookie db?)

* Configurable Reply-Leadin to included message text ("One Monday
morning, Javilk tapped my shoulder with a 10 pound hammer and said:")

* Expanded token support permitted in signature and role template files
    as well as the new Reply-Leadin definition

 * Compile-time option to permit saving passwords for Unix Pine
 *  Help Text improvements
 *  Numerous bug fixes

A small security hole was discovered, and already a patch to fix it at
http://www.softwolves.pp.se/pine.shtml

for everyone still waiting for GoldED to support mbox and SMTP, this may
be the tie braker. now all we need are decent colors, and dump pico in
favor of FTE as internal editor :-)))
