No, actually. The To: and Cc: headers don't really matter, and
the From: header was a valid linux-il subscriber.
Now, should I mail Noam Israeli of Galileo and tell him that spam
from his domain isn't accepted even from the list subscribers, or
should I catch Valentin and LART him with something really heavy
on his skull?
As a side note, I got mail from a friend of mine complaining
about some spam in an Israeli newsgroup. I did some research,
found the guy, and replied to my friend promising him to phone
the guy as soon as I get offline (this place has only one phone
line, unfortunately). When I finally disconnected and called the
said spammer, he (the spammer) agreed to every word I said and
promised not to spam ever again, and be co-operative in every
possible way. Maybe it got something to do with the fact that it
was 1:58 Israeli time... Well, on one hand, phone calls (even
long distance ones) are cheaper at night. OTOH, I'll call
collect next time.
Now, should I? Does Orange support collect calls?
