I chose not to do that to avoid having large shipments "trapped" at the Post
Office at
Rechov Hagana in Givataim. If that happens, you have to clear the shipment, argue
with a nit-whit customs officer, pay this, pay that, pay VAT and waste several
hours in the process.
You also run the risk of sustaining a heavy loss if the shipment goes astray.
Recall, there is NO tracking or guarrantee on the kind of shipment I mentioned,
and anything better is prohibitively expensive.

I did on one occaission use the express (7 days) shipment option for something
urgent.
It turned up at DHL in Bnei Brak (instead of my private mail address), and I had
to pay VAT, clearing charges and what not.
