[FLAME] Clueless Newbie (was: Re: help)

Another clueless newbie, who cares more about wasting the time of other
Linux-il subscribers than about making a sincere attempt to at least
locate a volunteer for private E-mail contact before bothering the entire
list with his elementary questions.

Can the owner of this mailing list check and make sure that new
subscribers indeed get the warning about SCSI cable flogging?

Ask the Netvision support people. You pay them money, they should help
you.

Did you try it from console? (And if you ask what 'console' means here,
then you'll be sentenced to flogging by a modified & barbed SCSI cable.)

RTFM.

Do you want instructions about the care, feeding and usage of a
Phillips screwdriver? Do you know what is a Phillips screwdriver, or do I
have to explain also this to you?

Open a book about Unix for dummies and read about the mysterious and
magic-filled 'ls' command.

Sorry, you cannot access those drives. You don't have enough privileges
for this purpose. Any attempt made by you to access those drives will be
punished by Zeus throwing a lightning on your computer's motherboard and
the electronics board in your first HDD.
