setting up Inter EterExpress PRO/100 Mobile Adapter

Hi,
I've got a laptop (Travel Mate 313T from Acer) installed with win98 and
linux (RedHat 6.0).

I'm trying to get the network to work: I've got the above adapter, which
works under Win98 (can ping to/from other linux machines).
I've set up all the network information (name, domain, ip address, mask,
gateway, DNS...) both using linuxconf and in /etc/pcmcia/network.opt.

When I insert the card (or when booting with the card inside), the card
is recognized correctly and the link light on the transceiver is up. But
I cannot use the network (no ping in neither directions).

I've tried different irq (3,5,10,11,15 (15 is the one win98 uses)) but
nothing help.

What else can be the problem?

Thanks,
Ilan
