Pretty good.  It used to be considered relativelly insecure but not
quite anymore.

Also it used to be considered hard to configure but the (now old) .m4
macros let you play with it very conveniently while still maintaining
the option to delve deep into the old-style config files if you need
to.

I switched to Qmail mainly for covenience (running an ISP with
multiple virtual domains and virtual users off a MySQL database) and
security and found it to be much faster.
