There is a lot of causes. There's no Linux software with full Hebrew
support. On default installation it is not even always possible to read
hebrew at all, let alone write it.

I, personally, read Hebrew at least 5 times slower than English,
and I have almost no means to write hebrew in most mailers I find usable.

Except that, almost Linux literature, terms and documentation is in
English, so I'd have to translate when I need to ask or answer a question.
Since Hebrew is not my native language, errors will multiply.

This is my very private POV, though, and YMMV.

And the best cause why we shouldn't change anything: If it ain't broken,
don't fix it.
