Yes, ofcourse,
except for FAT16 partitions, I guess (never tried to make fat
partitions).

The idea of diskdruid is that it takes care of business for you.
(to ease installations for newbies and avoid mistakes)
"growable" means that the partition will expand itself to the availible
sapce.
this means that when you make another partitions it will shrink and when
you remove existing partitions it will grow. if you have more then one
growable partition then the partitions will share the free space, that
will be added to their minimum size.
