Re: Samba / Hebrew
May I add that this problem (which I have encountered using Red Hat 5.0)
doesn't appear anymore on a configuration I've recently installed.
RedHat 6.0 boosted with kernel 2.2.9 and Samba 2.0.4b.
If it's of any significance, I've enabled support for 862 and 8859-8 code pages.
The Samba server used an ext2 filesystem.
No special configuration regarding the locale was added for Samba.
I made all the smb.conf using swat.
