Well i see most of us get to this Q :-)

Well the linux time mechanism is not sitting on the bios clock, it just taking
the start time from it.

Very funny though that the time mechanism is calculating time by counting how
many seconds has past since 1970 :-)

To force Linux time on the bios use clock -w
