So does XEmacs, so check it out if you want to use one editor
everywhere. Granted, it's much heavier than Emacs, but it's much more
potent, so if you have the memory and speed you might want to try
it. I especially like the fact that it colores the text as you type it
and you don't have to redraw it via Ctrl-L, although I hear people
trick Emacs to do the same.
