Just like the error says, 'Please try checking mail (logging in) with
POP or IMAP first.' - It seems that they (mailbank?) have a script that
allows
relay from a specific address for a short time (I'm assuming), but it
does this by tracking pop/imap logons and then opening relaying for that
address - hey, makes sense for a public mail server.
You can just have a little script that telnets to port 110
and sends USER [name] PASS [password], or to 143 for IMAP.
Of course, apop might be better still if they support it.
Of course, there are POP and IMAP perl modules on CPAN
as well.

I heard Bero Offline-mail is pretty much ok, and suited to
this task specificly. Never used it though.
