Still, it is possible that some people will only want to read the
Announce list, and won't be interested in the ongoing discussion
on Linux-IL.

Actually, developing software supporting Hebrew for UNIX would be
a really nice thing (although I, personally, don't need it). One
of the things that keeps Windoze users from migrating to some
friendly UNIX is the lack of Hebrew support. I think that Eli
Marmor does something about it, but, sadly, I haven't seen his
creations yet, not under Linux, nor under any other UNIX.

Now let _me_ show my political biases. I would like to see a
mailing list dealing with Hebrew issues, which will be (a) in
English, and (b) not Linux-specific, but discussing every UNIX
out there, because, AFAIU, the Hebrew support must be the same
under all UNIX systems.
I also would like to see a UNIX-IL mailing list, and maybe
BSD-IL. And UNIX-IL-Announce, which will be Cc:ed to
Linux-IL-Announce, and will be very similar to it, but less
Linux-specific.
Vadik.
