this does not seem to be the case. i've created a little lynx combined
with dov's fribidi library, that does exactly this, and apparently when
viewing microsoft's home page, or hed arzi's home page, there are certain
problems. there are also problems with handling multi-lines text blocks
(for which you cannot just translate a line at a time). there are also
problems with microsoft's algorithm not been fully unicode compatible...
hopefully we'll have some version of lynx with bidi support using omer'z
plugin library and dov's fribidi in a few weeks. if/when we do, we'll hand
it out probably as a patch to lynx 2.8.1 ...
