For most people, there's a vast difference between just speaking
Hebrew, and typing Hebrew on their computer. For me, it's easier to
speak Hebrew, but *much* easier to type English. So it is for a lot of
other people. So you can't compare.

Besides, having this list in Hebrew will create the illusion that
someone without English knowledge, not even basic, can make any
long-term use of Linux. Like it or not, you have to know English if
you want to use Linux, and if you want to change it, you need to
translate documentation, not move the mailing list to Hebrew. The
latter won't help any.

I think this (as almost anything else in the world) has already been
discussed here.

Software suppliers are trying to make their software packages more
"user-friendly".  ...  Their best approach, so far, has been to take all
the old brochures, and stamp the words, "user-friendly" on the cover.
