Time I looked into Python, I guess, not too many people out there know
it enough.
from the little I looked at, Python indeed looks as intuitive as perl
(it's intuitive to me, I guess it's subjective) and the forced
indentation does make it look cleaner...
but what about migration path? (is there a perl2python translator at the
very least?)
can Python be compiled into binaries, or only interpreted?
how does it stack up against perl in terms of speed?
now after throwing python-newbie questions into space, I'll go and
investigate python.org some more, as the initiall sifting through the
links did not reveal the answers to the above in any immediate FAQ page.
