Can you please explain what do those two last statements mean in practice?
Can you point out any example in which FreeBSD handles something
differently from Linux because of the aforementioned difference?

Is there any practical difference in the turnaround time of processor bug
or security fixes?
Like in: "average time from bug found&publicized to released patch is 3
hours in Linux, 3 days in FreeBSD"

The devil is in details, so we could ask which one is better for
application types and why:
- Networking
- Database server
- Print&File Server for M$-based network (using Samba)
- Desktop for scientific calculations
- Desktop for text and document editing
- Desktop for multimedia application development and viewing

OK, six religious wars should be better than a single religious war. :-)
