Re: A New Patch Release of VMware
Because of the importance of the issue, and since nobody answered
this question, I raise it again: Did anybody tested if the Hebrew
problems of VMware still exists in the new patch (experimental)
release?
It is urgent to know and to report to VMware, otherwise VMware 1.1
will have the problem.
I quote here my original message, without the message from VMware
which was attached to the original message:

Hi,
The following is a message sent to customers of VMware. It tell
about a new "experimental" version which solves many of the problems
of VMware 1.0. Since Hebrew had some problems (especially when
VMware's SVGA driver was used to run more than 640*480*4 under Win95
or 98), it is important to check if the problems are solved, and if
not, then please report to VMware. Unfortunately, I cannot install
it.
BTW: The new version runs new guests, including Solaris and Win2000
beta3. I believe that even if the Hebrew problems are not solved
with the new version, Win2000 should run Hebrew better.
