Re: Long file names.
If by 'quipping' you mean preserving the long filenames, the answer is:
Modify /etc/fstab so that the Win95 partitions are mounted under the vfat
filesystem type, instead of msdos.
Example (extracted from my own /etc/fstab:
/dev/hdc9 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1 /dosc msdos defaults 0 0
/dev/hda5 /dosd vfat defaults,ro 0 0
