Dunno, I need to know as well for Promise controllers and 25GB,
5400rpm IBM IDE drives.

The 25GB, 5400rpm works quite fine on Linux on ATA/33. Like the 22GB
7200rpm, they have 2MB of cache -not bad for IDE-.
If you need any test conducted on these drives...
