Re: FTP through SQUID
I maybe haven't noticed that but all FTP responces you get
while using a web browser with squid are HTML pages generated by
squid rather than FTP directory listings. For that reason Squid
has a set of icons for different file types and such.
(Ever noticed the squid output differs from a regular
FTP directory listing?). You cannot use a caching
proxy (like squid) with regular FTP clients, but only
firewalling proxies which are completely different things.
