This computer, linked to the school of Mathematics here, has a bit too
many errors on that ethernet. The collisions look ok, I guess the
infrastructure is a bit overloaded. You might want to check with the
system administration there (Guy Urman's people, if he's still there), and
have them test your networking environment.
