I agree with this completely. Any sysadmin who isn't flexible enough to find
his way on "Type A" Unix brand when he is supposed to be proficient in "Type
B" Unix brand is probably not a very good sysadmin anyhow.

It's like the question I was asked the other day "Is Linux a Unix?"

and the short answer I gave was "it depends how you define Unix". The longer
answer being: "If you define Unix as everything derived from the original AT&T
source code then Linux is NOT Unix. If you define Unix as anything inspired
by, and compatible with the AT&T code, then Linux IS Unix".
