Z-pinch 1D interferometry setup
The setup shown in Fig. 1 includes the Mach-Zehnder interferometer used to examine valve-nozzle systems in our laboratory. The laser used is a 532 nm, 100 mW CW laser. A photodiode is placed at a certain point in the region of interference and records the intensity of the fringes as a function of time.
